You don’t have to be a Harry Potter fan to enjoy this ride! In my opinion this ride is done better here at USJ than in Florida, where they have the same ride. The difference is in the lighting and the seating. In Florida, you can sometimes see other parties in the ride, but at USJ, it really feels like you’re on your own. As you enter the castle the staff will give you a card and tell you to put all your belongings in a locker. Once you leave the lockers, give that same card back to the staff so that they know you’re there for the ride! When you come back from the ride you won’t have the card - this is to prevent people from trying to jump on the ride again from the locker area. I love this ride personally, and would highly recommend it!

WICKED!!!! Harry potter fans will love the place. Unfortunately when I went the hippogriff ride was closed down due to maintenance work but I still enjoyed the whole experience. The harry potter section of the park recreates hogsmeade, so you'll be able to find shops like zonko or honeydukes. Grab dinner or lunch at the three broomsticks. Everything of course is really expensive but worth it if you're a fan. The ride of the castle was really entertaining and queuing time wasn't too bad, because basically you queue through different sections of the castle: dumbledore's room, gryffindor's common room and a classroom. Crazy attention to detail made the whole experience absolutely fantastic. Great souvenir selection, both in the castle and in the various shops. If you buy a wand you can make spells throughout the area. Also there are 3 dedicated street show: the frog choir, the Triwizard tournament and one with spells . Don't miss the Triwizard tournament's one, it was the best in my opinion. Pumpkin juice was great, compared to butterbeer which was waaay to sweet. If you must try it I suggest frozen butterbeer or butterbeer ice cream. I hope I'll be able to visit this place again.

I visited Harry Potter World in Los Angeles, and this one here in Osaka is quite similar. They tap into the winter theme for decoration. Wait time for the quidditch ride is about 45 minutes throughout the day. This will obviously vary throughout the year. This attraction opened in 2015 so it won't be crazy busy anymore. Arthur Weasley's car is a nice touch. The butterbeer served cold tastes really good and costs $7 CAD.

Definitely for Harry Potter fans. The ride has a Haunted Mansion nostalgic feel to it. Story is a bit lost if you don't understand Japanese... Butter beer is great!! Except for the price... Olivanders is a definite place to go to. I just wish the person they choose would get a free wand or at least a discount... Good idea to have interactive wand points.

Amazing place. It made me feel like im in another world. The castle is out of words. Amazing rolling coasters ever. Have to line up for 2 hours. You should be there at 8am and be the first in line. It’s a shame I couldn’t go for 2nd times. The town is small but you may not wanted to go out.

60 minutes of waiting for 60 seconds of fun. Should consider getting an express pass.

Universal studios Hogwarts castle is pure enjoyment. If you are a harry potter fan than you will love this place as it has everything you want, great rides, sweets, wands, butter beer, food, hogwarts castle tour and interactive points where you can castle spells with interactive wands from olivanders wand shop. I highly recommend going early to avoid the long lines and crowded shops. When i left most rides had 120 min wait times. Other than the wait times it was a really magically time.

This is one of the best attractions within USJ! The castle is inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It looks exactly like in the movies! So surreal and mesmerizing. I love how much attention is put into the details. There is a souvernir shop that sells Harry Potter merchandises, most notably the magic wand which you could use to cast spells around the park. You should not miss the two rides in this park. One of it is the 3D ride inside the castle. I think the queue is quite long, but it's totally worth it. The other one is like a roller coaster. Totally enjoyed it even though I'm not a HP fan myself. There is also a live skit at designated times. Do check out for that.

Well-made and recommended for 8+ children. The indoor ride is rather scary for younger than that. The outdoor rollercoaster is short, but a great little ride for most ages.

Just an awesome ride, whether you are a fan or not. We went there first up after opening and did the ride twice in a very short time as it wasn't busy first up but, apparently, waiting times blew out massively later. If Harry Potter is your thing, go there first, I think it's the best ride in the park.

The castle is so beautiful, recommended to come during around the sunset time so you can enjoy different feels of the castle.. No right enough time to go in hence definitely will visit again..

I was super excited here ! I really wait my trip in Japan especially because of my time here. You have to wait to enter this castle and enjoy Harry Potter 4D ride. For Harry Potter Lovers you won’t want to move from this castle haha. Near the castle you can visit Hogsmeade and get some souvenirs or snacks like in Harry Potter movie !

Hogwarts Castle Is Awesome. We Got So Many Experinces Here. I Love The Butter Beer Taste. Luckily I Came In Weekday As They Were Not Too Crowded. The Detail Of Themes 4D Are Fantastic. Faboulous. Don't Forget To Buy The Magic Wand And Clothes For Cosplay. See You Again, Potter !
