Haven't found a non-seafood nasi goreng in Japan, well, ever. Cafe Bintang's nasi goreng kambing (mutton) transported me back to my days in Jakarta. 100% authentic flavor, and the chef made it extra spicy on request (and it was just right). Portion size was huge, easily double what you'd get at a Japanese-style "ethnic" restaurant. Indonesian staff were friendly and attentive. Highly, highly recommended. Will return for martabak sometime. Terima kasih!

This restaurant is located on the 4th floor, in a strategic location near Shinsaibashi Station. Pempek, satay, chicken noodles, and bebek geprek are some of the recommended main menus. Just keep in mind when it is busy, your orders gonna take a little longer to arrive. One of the Indonesian restaurants worth visiting.

First time I take an Indonesian dish here, after I moving in to Japan in third month. The food taste absolutely similar with what I usually eat in Indonesia. Their portions are also relatively bigger if we compared with Indonesian restaurants in Indonesia. The vibe and atmosphere will makes you not realize that you were at Japan, because their decorations and even the music played were absolutely Indonesian. I will come back again to this place for sure! What they need to improve is just the service, especially when dealing with the newcomers or firstly coming people who wants to try Indonesian food. A little explanation on each dish will be useful, or you can suggest your most favorite menu to them.

Authentic Indonesian cuisine and atmosphere are provided here. Must try the Batagor and Fried Duck, really tasty and tasted the same like what you got in Indonesia. I hope they improve the hospitality

The Food Is Delicious, but the waiting time is somewhat time. It is worth waiting. The Stuffs don’t really speak english but they’re able to understand. Or you could just point it out on Menu.

If you are Indonesian and visiting Osaka, drop a visit to this café. This café provides many Indonesian cuisines like nasi goreng, bebek madura, ayam penyet, bakso, etc. Moreover, you will find other Indonesian snacks like teh pucuk harum, silverqueen, teh botol, etc. The staff are really friendly. Most of them are Javanese. Ah, more importantly, there is a prayer room here. You can find this café on the 4th floor.

I went there yesterday. I liked the food but the waitress doesn’t speak much English nor she seems to understand Japanese. She also didn’t put a mask on and was constantly sniffing like she has a runny nose that was quite uncomfortable for me. And suprise today i have a runny nose. I just hope she didn’t have corona and i didn’t catch it from her. I asked the waitress to bring us water and she made us wait before she cleaned around and a table. Very disappointing. I wish foreigner restaurant owners study how Japanese restaurants give perfect service to their customers.

Favorite halal food in Osaka. Always come back every time I have time to visit Shinsaibashi area. My favorite menu is bebek geprek (crushed duck).

I decided to visit this restaurant and little bit hard to find it. It is in the 2 floor of the building. When I visited, It was an Indonesia Flag in the front of the building. The owner is Indonesian I know because they can speak Bahasa. I ordered fried rice. You can find some Indonesian foods here, such as Rendang and Soto.

One of Indonesian restaurant in Osaka that serve halal food. Prayer room also available here. You should ask the waiter for any available meals that are not losted in the menu, because they have them. I tried the sop buntut and perkedel jagung which were good enough at least to recall Indonesian taste. They also have gado2, nasi goreng kambing, bebek goreng/panggang, but I havent got a chance to try them all. The atmosphere is so Indonesian, will definitely come back whenever I miss Indonesian food in Osaka.

A bit bland compared to what you get in Indonesia, but the sate ayam (chicken satay/skewers) have more meat on them even though the peanut sauce is not worth writing home about.
