Lots of good small local restaurants (many hold <10 guests). Good for individuals or couples; groups larger than 3 or 4 would have a hard time finding seats.

Many varieties of food and bars. Toilet is easy to find. It's opposite the big electronic shop and under the railway.you can hear the train passing while eating.

There are some good shops where you can have lunch. There are washrooms as well. I found a cheap 2nd hand laptop shop on the second floor. Prices are very reasonable.

A passage way which houses plenty of food stalls in Umeda area, can be considered food street. Went into a miso ramen store by the locals, surprisingly it's good and tasty. The portion is really generous and the gyoza tasted fantastic as well. Personally I'll prefer the gyoza. Pricing is normal and the staff are friendly. The shop is a bit small so the seating is limited. Queueing is still a norm here if you want to give it a try.

It has very nostalgic vibe as this was established very long time ago. So many old vendor runs by grandma and grandpa so the authenticity is granted. Some shops has very very long queue which funnily triggers more queue as people seems to think that long queue means good food which maybe true.

Amazing Takoyaki! With the super long lineups they are worth the wait! Limited standing tables, but allows take outs. The takoyakis are crispy outside with no soft batter inside. Had the regular and green onions. The sheer amount of green onions is overkill but great!

I wished i had spent more time here. This is a much better choice for food compared to the super overpriced Kuromon market. The food here is so value-for-money and the location is strategic. Not all the shops are well catered for tourists but this should not deter any tourists from having a good meal here.

The food is quit good and ordinary. The owner of the shop is super shy. He doesn't dare to face the foreign tourists. I think he does not know English. Yet, he has tried his very best to serve the foreigners (as u can see English menu is provided).

Never seen such a sprawling semi street food type place before in Japan. Full of young people, great food, everyone is having a good time.

Great place Traditional Japanese feeling, English menu, staff speaks a little english (broken), but it's enough to order authentic osaka okonimiyaki

This will be a very interesting experience for foreigners. A lot of food choices here but most cannot speak English and have no English menu. Some allows smoking indoor but do note that there is a minimum age to enter such shops. Some eateries here are standing ones meant for a quick meal so be sure eat fast.

Had our dinner here for 3 consecutive days as we love this place so much. This place has so many small restaurants, izakaya and etc. You could get the local delicacies such as ramen, udon, yakitori, takoyaki, finger food, pastries and etc. Go to second floor if you would like to try the local Izakaya. Most of them couldn't speak English and no English menu. However, you could utilise the Google Translate App :)

Has a very old style and vibes of the past. Wide selection of food and drinks. Ceiling is a bit low tough.

Been here three times. Some stores are changed soon. However, there is one for Orden is excellent, they also sell whale meat, but we did not order, pity, because it is said to be delicious. If you come here on weekends, you will find stars to be singing around, hope this one will be famous soon. One picture shows a restaurant I've been to 3 years ago, amazing, they are still there.

A much older yet with lots of food varieties at the subway station. Many are eateries with bar seats, mainly catered to blue-collar workers winding down after work. Bought takoyaki which was very delicious!
