My self and my family with kids are travelling in a few weeks. We contacted this clinic to come get our vaccinations recommended to travel. We had visited Paul Whitsitt, he had explained the whole thing about what we need to be protected etc. I went in with my 3 kids (1,6,8) my 8 year old was quite nervous to have the needle. Paul isn’t good with kids, he kept grabbing my son from his arms and shirt, going on top of him to hold him down etc. He was basically man handling him, we were the only ones at the clinic. When my son is moving around and squirming, he is still trying to put the needle. I had to say “let him sit down” then finally spoke to my son to make him as ease and then he was ready. He seems to not have patience and gets quite aggravated, he told my son to man up! He is 8! I would never go to him again, it was quite terrifying. I come from a health background, and that’s not the way a health care worker treats a child!

Fantastic! I was surprised when booking that Saturday appointments were available, and then a little concerned about how full the waiting room was when I arrived. However I was called in right on time. Paul was friendly and obviously very knowledgeable about which risk factors would apply and what was needed. He was thorough with explaining the timelines for boosters. Could not have been easier or more straightforward to get everything done. Thank you so much Paul!

My partner and I truly had such an amazing experience at provax. Before his trip to South America, Paul was so thorough and explained every possible disease, vector and best preventative measure. He chatted with us for over an hour, never made us feel rushed, showed us diagrams, and answered all of our questions. Can't recommend him enough, we'll be definitely back!

Pathetic doctor Paul whitsitt on phone we asked that how much travel vaccine will cost he said that around $200 and he never mentioned anything we ask repeatedly that we want typhoid, diarrhea and hepatitis vaccine but he never mentioned that each of these vaccine will cost us separately once we went there than he told us that all these vaccines will cost around $1000 for my 4 kids and for consultation he will charge $100 obviously we cant afford that high cost of vaccination so we get nothing end up paying $113 that all went in vain that's how these doctors got our hard earn money just in 25 mins i wish i could give him negative star would never recommend anybody

***USERS BEWARE - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE*** ***UPDATED*** After reading the reply posted by the owner, it is clear that they are confusing the poor service they gave me with the poor service they provided to somebody else. I never asked for an emergency appointment - so you are clearly responding to the wrong person. I was looking to get a rabies vaccine for a family member for employment purposes. I never made an appointment with you , and I most certainly did not make one and then not show up. However - active listening is a skill that usually accompanies professionalism. Clearly that is also lacking. Best of luck, and for those reading these reviews I would encourage you to do your homework. There are other private clinics around the area. ***UPDATED*** I don't think I have ever posted a review or rating - ever. But - I need to after this experience. WOW - that about sums it up. I called this clinic to inquire about getting a Rabies vaccine for a family member. Voicemail recording sounded like a private name so I did not leave a message. 1 hour or so later, my call was returned (call display) by a male. Partway through our call it disconnected. He called back again. At this time, I advised that since I was unable to reach anybody, I made arrangements through another clinic. I was asked why, and when I started to say I was concerned about the UNPROFESSIONAL setup (no voicemail etc) he hung up on me mid-conversation - AGAIN. If I could give ZERO stars - I would. (I had to select ONE) Judging by some of the other reviews I have read, I am not the only one that is concerned over lack of professionalism, attitude, conduct etc. Without even stepping foot in this clinic, I would be VERY CAUTIOUS about the professionalism of this clinic.

Knowledgeable advice for our upcoming travels. We felt we were getting the best advice geared to our needs and not generic based on where we were going. Like that they are keeping an updated record of our immunizations for future trips. Will recommend to friends and family.

Paul was super knowledgable and you can tell he has a passion for his job! He gave us all information needed for our trip to Asia while making us feel comfortable & safe about our travels. I am super nervous when taking needles and he was a pro with that part as well.

We had a good overall experience. Dr. Paul is very professional and knowledgeable in guiding us with different health conditions for a specific region. Thank you for providing us an appointment at the eleventh hour.

Well worth the visit for peace of mind. The doctor verified the entry requirements and recommendations for the countries we are visiting and then advised us accordingly. We are relieved to be travelling to South America with the proper meds for protection. Thanks to Dr. Paul!

This is one of the few travel clinics in the area that offers yellow fever vaccine, which we required. I read some not great reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. Our visit was very informative and the information given was useful. There was no pressure to purchase any more than was necessary. The staff were pleasant and the clinic was clean and professional.

Was a bit skeptical initially after reading some of the reviews here but I had a great experience. Paul was super knowledgeable and he educated me about what I need for my travels. He also helped me to consolidate all my vaccine shots into one record for my convenience. I highly recommend this place! Thanks Paul 🙏🏽

My husband and I, and our two daughters visited Provax Travel and Immunization clinic for our upcoming vacation to Punta Cana. We had a consultation with Paul Whitsitt. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions. He provided the necessary vaccine and malaria information for the area. Paul was patient and kind with our daughters who were nervous about getting a needle. I will come back for our future vacation needs.
