I’ve been a patient at this clinic for the past few years and I must say I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Customer service is amazing from the reception to the healthcare practitioners. I am never rushed and all my health needs and concerns are addressed in a professional and timely manner

In a time when it's so hard to find a family doctor, it's nice to know Dr.Akoto and her staff were really supportive and super patient. I'd definitely go back.

Amazing service. Dr. Akoto is always so thorough and patient. She takes her time to give you options, always looking for ways to better your health. Very friendly staff. I drive far to go to the clinic because of the level of care and service I receive.

It’s okay. They’re pretty nice there. No one has been rude to me so far and I’ve been quite a few times. They get the job done. Sometimes the wait is really really long though. They can be slow there. I waited 2 hours and there were hardly any other people waiting with me. Mind you there was only one doctor at the time for some reason. It really depends on the time of day and how many doctors they have in.

The staff at the clinic were very attentive and helpful. They made sure that I was well taken care off. I was updated every step of the way and it’s unlike any experience Iv have had with any other clinic I ever visited. First class indeed.

Went in for a walk-in. Long wait time although there was no patients. Not sure if they even have a doctor. I can't tell if I was seen by a nurse or a doctor. Had a painful blood work done by the doctor/nurse and nearly fainted. I was never prescribed the medicine that the doctor mentioned during the consultation. Next day, I went in again because they didn't follow up on medication, and they were closed without any notice. I waited in front of the clinic for an hour and no one showed up or answered the phone.

The walk-in clinic in Oshawa is a very neat and awesome clinic with very friendly staff where the receptionist gives the first welcome smile to the patient. The practitioners are very patient and walk you through your assessment or results and put you at ease. They know what they are doing. Confidentiality and informed consent are strictly applied. I recommend this clinic to everyone because they are committed to the wellness and health of each patient. You can trust them with with providing good and reliable health care.

This place is incredible! Best option in Oshawa! After 8 hours at the hospital for the quack of a doctor to simple look at my son and say he was fine and didnt need any antibiotics I took him to this clinic less than 24 hours later. We only waited about 20 minutes before getting in to see the doctor, who was so kind and attentive. She checked everything!! My son ended up having a bad infection and was sent home with antibiotics, eye drops, Nasal Spray AND an inhaler. They are absolute legends here!

I go to this walk-in clinic for myself and my daughter. The doctors and the staff here are so overwhelming. They patiently listen to all your concerns. They attend you immediately if not so busy.

Very polite reception and the doctors are friendly and professional. Although there are quiet a few walk-ins near my house, but this is one of the best and take you to a doctor right away. The wait time is not compareable to some other clinics that you have to wait hr or so before seeing a doctor.

Imagine going to see a doctor. They tell you to get an ultrasound and blood work done for something that might be serious. So you do everything the same day. They say I’ll let you know your results in a week. So a week goes by and you get no call. So you call and they say we are busy we’ll call back today. No call. You call back Monday. Sorry we are busy we will call you back today. No call. You call back the next day. Sorry we are busy. We'll call back today. No call. Smh This place means well but they are understaffed. There is 1 person running back and forth doing everything. My advice. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Update: I was told to come in for my results. I came in with 30 minutes before they closed. They turned me away and said they are full. This is truly the worst experience at a walk in I have ever had.

Please go somewhere that will not waste your time. I visited the clinic on June 16 with chronic low spinal pain. I am not able to exercise or sit due to the pain. Unfortunately my family doctor was closed and I was in too much pain not to do anything. I informed the lady at the front desk that I was unable to reach my family doctor as they have signs that indicate to go to them first. The doctor I first met with, who seemed to care for my situation, advised me that I would not be able to get an ultrasound or MRI without an x-ray. That is understandable as I have been through the same procedure when I tore ligaments in my knee. I get the x-ray done and I called a week later to confirm my results were in. I revisited the clinic on June 26 and was met with a different doctor. She read that my results came back with nothing. I asked if I could get further imaging done and she dismissed me. I informed her that my father has slipped a disc in his spin and I know the symptoms to look out for and that I am experiencing similarities in my pain. She said assumptious questions such as "Why do you think your family doctor won't give you a MRI?" Which I responded that my family doctor would, but I came here when I was in need and got my x-ray through here. She also asked if I have done physio which I responded that I have been in and out of physio for years. She then made another assumptious statement that I should try it for more than 6 weeks. I have done physio for months at a time. She had assumed the worst of me. The most she did was prescribe me anti-inflammatories and told me to go to my family doctor. I wasted 10 days in agony just to be told to go somewhere else. To now have to wait another week or so to go see my family doctor. What was the point of any of this? Update: My name is spelt wrong in their response. The manager called me from a No Caller Id number (not sure if that was intentional) and apologized for my experience. Offered me MRI imaging and offered to send results to my family doctor. I thanked her for the offer but declined as I can no longer trust an establishment that treated me so poorly. I appreciate an establishment that wants to fix and rectify the situation but I will not make the same mistake twice. Please know there are patients out there that have a hard time advocating for themselves and even have fears of visiting doctors. Situations like mine can really break a person on top of what they are already struggling with.

Staff was friendly and there was no line up at 8 am on a Friday morning. doctor did a thorough exam. Overall great experience!!

First time to come to this clinic. Receptionist was nice and the wait time is not bad. Parking is easy to find as well but it is paid which is not a big deal. 25 cents for 25minutes. Doctor/Practitioner who saw me was very nice and informative. Highly recommend.

Not a huge line, there were only 3 people ahead of me but it took them over an hour and half just to see me. Upon seeing the doctor, they only allow you to discuss ONE issue. They do that so they can bill for more appointments. The only good thing about this place is the receptionist. She deserves a 5-star rating. But the doctor seemed to be in a bad mood, she didn't even hide the fact that she did not want to be there.

This is the best experience I have ever had at a walk in clinic. I’ve been coming here for a year while I’ve been waiting for a family doctor to accept new patients. Even though I am not a rostered patient, I have always been treated like a patient. The staff is very personable and they always remember my name when I come in and remember to ask how my son is doing and how my work at the daycare is doing. I’ve never felt rushed. Following a miscarriage one of the staff had a 45 min appointment with me just talking through how I was feeling and ensuring I had all the necessary supports. Every experience I have had here has been a positive one. I would highly recommend this clinic because in a country where health care is often rushed and impersonal, this place has much higher standards of care.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had by going to a walk in clinic. Went there on Nov 17, got the ultrasound done the same day and ultrasound clinic faxed them the same day as well. Called them on Nov 22 to check if any updates, but they said they have not received yet. Called them again today Nov 28 after having the ultrasound sent again by the imaging place. They picked up the call after 12th attempt, the front desk guy said he will call back in 15 mins. Here i am sitting after 6 hours, no call back. I don’t think this is even a real doctor clinic but some school drop outs working here.

The Reception for the walk in was very kind and funny, very welcoming and attentive when doing his review for the doctor. There was no wait, we were reviewed immediately, the wait for the doctor was only about 5-10 mins after that. The doctor was super attentive and friendly as well, I've had recurring problems ive tried to receive help for months now and she was able to get me into appointments and refer me to resources immediately. I felt more listened to them I had been with my family doctor. My entire family goes here and I definitely recommend giving them a shot if you feel unheard and need an attentive checkup and speedy service, obviously wait time will vary but typically I've not waited long.

I went in because my family doctor was booked for 2 weeks and I needed a form filled out for work within a short time period. I was upset because I wasn’t even examined. Just because I need a form filled out doesn’t mean I’m not sick. I wanted to make sure I didn’t need an antibiotic. My firm was confiscated and destroyed and I was told they don’t work that’s why. I was completely dumbfounded. That is the craziest thing I’ve ever experienced, I waited over an hour for nothing

Quick and friendly service! Given I was the first two in line but I was in and out of the clinic in 15 mins. It was only my second time there but the staff remembers me - great experience!
