Second session: WOW. Can one word sum it up? Yes it can! Again please don't think these tiny pins hurt. Again you will feel incrediple peace as you lay in the lowered lights allowing the pins to work their magic. Ashley, as I'm sure the other practitioners, really take the time to get to know you. It is a full and complete supportive service. I can't imagine any other acupuncture clinic coming close to the way you will be treated in this spa like environment! Haven's door opens up to a tranquil and welcoming environment. Ashley, the practitioner I met with, was caring and non-judgmental; she made me feel like my issues were "normal" when so many before had made me feel anything but normal. The acupuncture treatment was so calming. The warm heating pad on the table and the soothing aroma in the room provided the perfect atmosphere to relax. I used the time left alone to enjoy the peace and quiet and actually dozed off for a few minutes! From my own research I know that acupuncture is a cumulative treatment and so weekly appointments are necessary. With an honest, professional and caring staff such as the one I believe exists at Haven this is not a "money grab". These sessions will be a chance for me to heal with the support of someone who truly wants to help. I am certain that all the practitioners at Haven are equally qualified and mindful as Ashley. John and I are over the moon with the results we have benefited from working with Ashley. She combines her knowledge of Chinese medicine, acupuncture, dietary consumption and much more. I had acute pain from inflammation/arthritis in my right foot and could hardly walk, I am now able to put my foot back into some of my shoes as well as walk more regularly. My husband has realized a major decrease in lower back pain and glutes due to inflammation and combined with Physio is pain free in the lower back and continues working with both methods to eliminate the glute pain. He is so looking forward to a better golf game this year! Ashley is now working on other parts of my "older" body to help me regain a happier and healthier body. Ashley practices traditional Chinese medicine. At the beginning of every appointment she asks you specific questions about your current health status and treats exactly that. After every appointment I go home and soak in the bath and sleep like a baby, she's amazing!!
