Decided to make the long trek here from Pickering to eat dinner and grab a few drinks. The view from the patio was of the water, fields, playground etc. the patio was nice but with a few wobbly tables. We decided to order the “Italian” themed menu that was going on at the time. We ordered the meat lovers pizza with Alfredo sauce base instead of traditional marinara as well as a couple pictures of beer. The pizza wasn’t that great but even bad pizza is still good. Solid 4.9 out of 10. The beer wasn’t as cold as I would have liked it to be and it was a little flat. You might be asking, then why a 4/5 stars? Honestly it started raining and the staff were super accommodating and made every effort to cover us with umbrellas and made sure we we were dry and comfortable. Even a guy from the back of the house (must have been the owner?) was super cool and helpful. I for sure would have drinks here again.

The location has so much potential - very nice scenery. Staff is nice but the "restaurant" itself is a bit cringe worthy. Water served in old looking plastic cups, cutlery and plates that have definitely seen better days. Food was below average. Don't get the poutine, it's disgusting - and fish and chips were one of the worst I've ever had. The pulled pork was ok. Maybe great for a cold drink on a nice day, but not really where you want to go for food. I didn't appreciate the smell of cigarette smoke from people smoking next to the patio.

First of all, Google Maps sent us to the wrong location. We didn’t drive all the way there or course since we knew we were going to a patio near the water and Google wanted us to go to a subdivision...... make sure you head down toward the water however. Not a bad place to go grab a quick bite and a drink. We were on the patio to try enjoy the last days of heat this year. Food was quick and decent tasting. Definitely good for the price! Very inexpensive place. Couple of drinks, some wings and We were good to go. Cheap wings on a Friday too! Not too shabby.

Standard Canadian pub fare. A nice patio, and great place to catch a bite to eat on a patio, with a park view, if you are in the area and don't have any particular dietary restrictions.

the food sucks, it's all frozen. the drinks are great, location is great, service is amazing and staff is super friendly. but fast food tastes better-like it sucks paying for food that tastes like it's from walmarts frozen section. it's a pub and they don't really have any bar food. the food from the reviews a few months ago looks good so I'm not sure why they decided to change!

Service is top notch! Menu is OK. I was looking for pizza on the menu but couldn't find. We enjoyed our food though. Big servings. I suggest to get the cocktails and some appetizers.

We had an order of fries and onion rings after a long bike ride from North Oshawa and both were just right, the drinks were cold and the service was good. We didn’t plan on eating here but it seemed like a good idea and we’re glad we decided to stop in. It’s a very nice area, looking out onto the huge trees and the beautiful lake. Will definitely go back.

We’ve been here twice in a week so far. Great location! The service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Hands down! We had josh and he was fantastic! All the servers are so friendly and will smile as they pass your table. The drinks were very good! Now for the bad part, as many have mentioned the food is not the greatest. So far we’ve had a burger, veggie burger, fries, fish and chips, wings, and mozzarella sticks. The fish was decent, would be nice with fresh cut fries. It’s very obvious the food is frozen and not high quality. I’ve seen the photos of the previous menu and it looked amazing. I really hope the owner looks at the reviews and makes changes, as prior to the menu change the reviews raved about the good food. The carrot cake was delicious!

Food was good, burger and salad excellent but fries a bit soggy. Drinks were cold and refreshing. Service excellent. And now.... DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE LOWER PATIO. Yes!!! About time. Leashed of course.

Great place by the lake. My server (Brayden?) was fantastic. Great guy with a fun attitude. Manager was out at one point and I could tell the staff all respect each other. I would certainly recommend. Food and drinks were good, staff was super

This is one of my top places to go to quite a lot from when it opens in May till it closes for the winter in the fall...... UPDATE: I was recently sick, in the hospital, and hadn't been here in just over three weeks. The second the owner saw me walking towards the pub today, he had a huge smile on his face. We hugged and he told me everyone had been worried about me since I'm a regular and suddenly went hiatus. They truly care about their customers, and all these people are like family to me.

Don't get mixed drinks here and the food was just average, my kids barely ate. My long island ice tea tasted like there was no alcohol in it whatsoever, when I complained the waitress went and "spoke to her manager" and refused to take it back. They also made my friend's kids the worst Shirley temple, the kids had no clue what it was and that's their favourite drink in restaurants. No paper towel in the washroom. Save your money. The only thing I was impressed by was the fact that a different waitress was kind enough to print off coloring sheets for the kids and give them crayons. Thanks for your thoughtfulness to that other waitress.

There is not a lot of selection on the menu. The few times I've been here they rush you out the door plus a very disruptive guy who had too much to drink made it less enjoyable. Also my kids have ordered fish and chips here and said the fish was really bad and when we complained the waitress was like "everyone else likes it" as if we were in the wrong or something and had no right to complain. The reason I give 3 stars is because the fries and burgers are amazing and so are the prices. Great view too.

The jube is an excellent spot. So much potential. The only bright spot? A couple of the the servers. The food is over priced and kinda bland, but the attention you get from the staff is worth it. Specifically, Danielle. She always has a smile on her face, she remembers your name and your order. Maybe she's having the best day or the worst day of her life, but you wouldn't know... when she's talking to you, you're the only person that matters. Honestly, the only reason I go back.

We visited The Jube last Wednesday, August 3rd for a quick dinner with a lovely view of the lake in summer. Our server, Danielle, recommended the Bacon Cheeseburger and Jube Poutine and wow what a meal! Danielle was friendly and personable while still being efficient. Dinner was great and Danielle’s service was excellent. We were sorry we couldn’t stay to see the live music but we will definitely be back!

The food was okay-the burger was good but the bun was soggy however I would come back with my family anytime because the service and view are incredible! My 90 year old parents hadn't eaten out since before COVID and were nervous but our server May was so sweet, friendly, and helpful, she made it feel like a 5 star night.

Inexpensive pub with the rudimentary food. The fish and chips looked good. Beer was flat and cocktails were watery virtually juice drinks, alcohol was missing. Service too young and inexperienced. Best thing about it is the location and scenery in the park. If you want to take the kids to play and grab a quick inexpensive bite while you’re at it not a bad place.

I don’t understand some of the negative reviews for this place. The setting is great with a view of the lake. Peaceful setting in the park and the food and service is GREAT. If you’re looking for French Service and the food from a high end restaurant in the city, then you’re in the wrong place although I must admit I have enjoyed the food here more than many “high end” restaurants in Toronto. Yes, the fish and chips are awesome but in reality everything off the menu is great. The burger! Oh my! Toronto has gone through a real transformation from greasy spoon burger joints to places like The Burger’s Priest, Holy Chuck, etc…I would put the burgers here on the same level if not better. The poutine is plentiful and so good! I can’t wait to go back. If you’re in the area or even want to spend a nice weekend afternoon on a little family trip, this would be a great choice. Park, lake, snack bars and a great casual patio restaurant. They even have a very traditional banquet facility for weddings and other parties and the room is really nice. Great work revitalizing the area for whoever owns this place. 👏👏👏👏

Ummm not a huge menu. If it wasn't for the view of Lake Ontario, I would say the Pub is quite mediocre. The Burger was recommended as good, not was just ok. We went there on a business visit to Oshawa and looking for what it is the ONLY lakeview restaurant in the whole town. Anyway, it won't be a repeat, ever. It's not worth it. The park around looks nice and big, something that would be nice to bike around.

The decor could be better, it could use a good clean-up. I went twice to give it a fair shake. I might go back. tables are wobbly. There are spiderwebs close to table tops. On my second visit, I sent back my draft beer, it had some white gunk floating within the foam. I asked for a bottle, I won't drink draft again here. Service was slow and seemed disorganized.

We went on a Wednesdy night. It was not that busy. Service was good and friendly. Food was decent. Atmosphere is good at this place as patio is at the lakefront. Bugs were a problem but guess restaurant can't help much with that. Will go back for a pint on a aunty afternoon.
