Wow, this was disappointing. This place came pretty highly recommended so we decided to try a bunch of plates and share and every single one fell flat. Very plain, basic, limited flavour to every dish and on top of that our pizza was raw. We were the only people seated in the restaurant and the restaurant was also quiet otherwise so there was full attention to making our meals, I can’t even find an excuse for it. Our server paid us very little attention even though, once again, there wasn’t anything going on. She was literally watering plants. When I notified her about the raw pizza she didn’t even apologize or offer a replacement, etc. She said “ok” and took the pizza and walked away. Only later did we see on the bill that she had taken it off, which is great but was very odd. Love to support local so it pains me that this was our experience but I can’t put this one in my roster after that.

This is a hidden gem in Durham , I don't understand why they don't have people lining up out of the door!. This is by far one of the best restaurants in the GTA, we have been there for both, breakfast and dinner, and we are hooked!. The quality of the food is outstanding and the service is terrific! David was the most kind and pleasant waitress we have ever had! We will come back for round 3 very soon!!!

My first time here was for a brunch (ofcourse). We made reservations and our tae for waiting when we arrived. I loved that. They were busy, as expected, but the service was so quick, it was amazing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The place has great ambience and it also sells art work by local artists and photographers. My only reason for not giving a 5 star, the food. We ordered honey butter drizzled biscuits which were quite dry on the inside. My eggs Benedict was good, not amazing, just lacked flavour. May be i expected more from the place. But still a must visit if you want brunch in and around Oshwa.

Still falling in love with this place every time I go. Thanks again for a great brunch, and amazing staff! . . Love this little restaurant. They have a fantastic little patio in the summer which is perfect for brunch. Their brunch, lunch, dinner, and drink menus are very inspired. I will always suggest going with whatever the special of the day is. Can't go wrong. Great little gem in Oshawa.

The staff were extremely accommodating and more than happy to veganize our brunch order! We loved our avo toast and shakshuka with fried tofu subbed for fried eggs. Definitely planning to come back and try the vegan options on the lunch menu!

This place was great and the service was amazing. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! The lamb was okay, nothing great, the mash potatoes came out cold but they gave us another plate.

Spectacular suggestions from our server, Byron. Also, very attentive and kind. Lunch was delicious and filling. Cute atmosphere. I really loved the nice touch of a refill coffee to go when we were done. We will be back!

I can't believe I hadn't come here before!! The food was great quality, super tasty. Service was friendly and timely. The inside here is such a good vibe. The server told me they just recently expanded. I'll be back, and can't wait to sit on the patio too!

This is hands down the best restaurant I have eaten at since being in Oshawa. Located on king street West. We had the surf n turf with garlic mashed and the arctic char with wild rice and bok Choi. Absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Marissa was the host and bartender and is very friendly and inviting. Berry bramble drink and rum punch were very tasty! Amazing place. Be sure to check this place out!

The food was delicious but the service was a tad slow. Became better as it got less busy, but it took almost 20 minutes to bring out a coffee and then a little longer to bring out additional milk and sugar. Despite all this, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and they even brought out a birthday dessert which they didn't charge for. Will definitely go back, but just during less busy times. Oh and they should look at securing the bathroom doors better because a lock isn't helping keep it closed when occupied.

Amazing place.. they accommodated myself. My girlfriend and my small pup on the patio for a Sunday breakfasts.. greeted with all smiles and a warm welcome. Best part about this all is the hidden gem of a patio at the back. Rustic, charming, and secluded. A must visit

Came here for lunch to catch up with friends based on the Google reviews and a family member recommending it. It was fantastic! We didn’t try the pizza but our 4 year old daughter loved it. The club was really tasty with a whole chicken breast - bit messy with the flatbreads instead of toast but no complaint there! The Italian connection sandwich was excellent (half of the table got it and all gave it rave reviews) but apparently the lamb burger is even better (our friend said it was the best burger she’s ever had). Our waiter was fantastic, really connected and engaged with our daughter when taking orders - a very nice extra step that made it a great experience.

Was looking for a new place to go with my girlfriends for brunch, and had found this place as one of the top 10 Instagram places to visit in Durham. Very cute inside, you could either choose one of the booths or a traditional table; opted for the booth. Great selection of items, I had the Avocado Toast - the seasoning on the potatoes was out of this world - and Mimosa to drink. Didn't feel rushed, we stayed for almost two hours and the service was also spot on. Will definitely be coming back.

Entire establishment was very clean. Was greeted and served with a smile. The food ordered was fresh and very good and the beer was cold. The ambience is highly conducive to some quiet reflection, a nice first meetup or even catching up on business.

Such a fantastic place for lunch with colleagues!! The food was french and delicious, with leftovers too. I was so grateful that Byron shared his Oat Milk with me, as I prefer my London Fog tea with Oat Milk. I suggest having it available for others who might enjoy it as well. The service was fantastic!

FANTASTIC. I am blown away by how amazing this restaurant is. Bright, welcoming, clean, spacious, modern and rustic - this place is way nicer than you might expect from the outside. The staff are friendly and attentive and seem to enjoy working here. The food is AMAZING. Steak and eggs was perfect, and the pancakes are light and fluffy. The potatoes are ridiculous! I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will be regulars, ditching the local chain when we feel like going out for brunch.

I highly recommend Berry Hill Food Co. in Oshawa. I ordered the Egg plus meal with 2 Eggs, BH Potatoes, Fruit Salad and Bacon. I also ordered 1 Berry Berry Pancake. For my drinks I had a water with a lemon & pineapple juice. The waitress name was Destiny, she is amazing at her job. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant!!!!! April 16th, 2023

I've been here a few times, food has always been good and service can best be described as relaxed. This is not a fast food restaurant and I'm happy with that. We were a party of three, we had a very enjoyable relaxed brunch with white sangria and lots of conversation. We'll be back.

We went to the tea house and unfortunately, it was raining and therefore, it was closed as it is to my understanding an outdoor experience. Luckily, we were referred to the berry hill food co. And it was great. Although, not the full tea house experience, they serve the same food. I minus one star as it wasnt the tea house intended. Im sure just off the street this place would be lovely. Other than that i would definitely come back.
