Such a hidden gem! we've been to Mexico for a couple of years. Miss Mexican food all the time. Searching for tons of taco places for a long time but there’s nothing like real authentic Mexican homemade food. Fortunately, we found this VIVA burritos! I ordered birria and fish tacos and pozole soup...VIVA!!! We asked the owner to stay here forever! It brings me to the Baja California casa. We appreciate he ran this restaurant 12yrs ago with great skills to cook. Only one flaw is there needs a ventilation system. I just worried about his lung health.

Was in town for a job and needed a quick bite. Prices were incredible for the portion you receieve. Ordered the steak burrito and was exceptionally happy with my choice. Texture was on point and taste was flavourful, a little spicy and overall authentic. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Great, fresh authentic tasting burritos and taco’s. The owner was really friendly and the food was delicious. The prices are more than fair for the product and portion size. We loved their house made sauces, especially the habanero Xtra-Hot! You can easily leave Viva Burritos stuffed for under $10. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food, you have to stop in and try.

Fish Tacos, Pozole with Chorizo soup and Pulled Pork with Bacon Tostadas. This meal is 100% on the menu in heaven.

Me and my wife recently visited Mexico and we were struggling to find an authentic Mexican place. This place was the closest to an authentic Mexican joint that we could find. Jesus runs this place and he's a great guy who takes pride in his food. I ordered birilla tacos and they were amazing. If you want legit Mexican food, this is your place. 5 stars easy!

Got an order of birria tacos for $15 which came with four tacos and some broth. Honestly a bit small for the price, even if the tacos were pretty good. The broth wasn't very flavorful though. Maybe next time I'll just try the plain tacos. 5 for $10 seems like a better deal.

This is a review of someone who travels throughout north america for work. I enjoy trying out new places. This place has great reviews for their burritos, the other products seem like they require work. The burrito itself had a great taste, however lacked meat within. The cost of this was around 8$ plus tax. I ordered 3 tacos, chicken, alongside that and the chicken tasted like it was from Costco(rotisserie). The cost of these three were around 8$ plus tax. I would recommend trying the burrito, but the rest I'm not sure if it's bang for your buck. Total was 21$ with a drink, well overpriced. Je me souviens. - -

Best tacos in Durham region by a long shot. The birria was unreal, and the owner is so lovely. Even rivals some of the taco places downtown Toronto. Authentic Mexican flavour and hospitality. 10/10 would go again

Absolutely delicious!!! Authentic Mexican food in Downtown Oshawa! The Owner was friendly and inviting! I had the five taco plate for $10 and shared it with my mother. We were stuffed! Fresh and delicious! Thank you! I will definitely be returning and bringing friends!

Viva Burrito is my all time favourite Mexican restaurant in Durham Region and have the best birria tacos I've ever had, and I'm a very hard judge. the owner is the most kind gentleman as well and we always have great conversation when we come. He works long hours all week and his food shows for it! support small businesses and try Viva Burrito!

This place is an absolute gem. The food is downright delicious and decently priced. I've been here twice now and every item I got was terrific: Birria tacos, burritos, their soups. Convenient free parking at the back. A few tables and stools if you want to eat in. If you want some authentic Mexican food this is your place.

Been coming here since Jesus opened up. So much has changed over the last decade plus but this great restaurant is still churning out amazing authentic burritos at a price that is such great value. I live in Alberta now but everytime I visit home this is the first thing I go to eat lol thanks for the great food!

There is nothing that hits the spot like the food from Jesus at Viva Burritos. This little restaurant is a gem, that fills your belly and warms you to the bottom of your toes. Food is tasty and affordable and you won't leave hungry. My kids demanded extra take out to take home!

Wow. First time visit. Exceptional tacos and amazing price. Great service too. This place is a real gem. Chorizo was exceptional. Treat yourself to a jar of the house-made salsa. Also best corn tortillas I've had in a long time (don't fall apart!)
