We
were
looking
for
a
cheap
breakfast
special
in
the
Oshawa
area.
So
I
Googled
cheap
breakfast
specials
and
stumbled
across
this
place.
The
restaurant
opened
at
9am.
We
were
one
of
the
first
customers
to
come
in.
There
was
a
strong
scent
of
cigarette
smoke
in
the
restaurant.
Not
a
great
start.
We
ordered
the
breakfast
special
3
eggs
with
homefries
and
texas
toast
for
$3.99.
If
you
want
to
add
meat,
you
will
need
to
ante
up
another
$4.50
for
4
strips
of
bacon,
ham,
or
2
oven
baked
sausages.
$5.50
for
peameal
bacon.
From
a
value
perspective,
the
breakfast
special
is
a
killer
deal
if
you
don't
add
meat.
We
got
the
bacon
and
sausage
for
our
upgrades.
The
coffee
is
$3
with
free
refills.
The
coffee
was
freshly
brewed
and
not
watered
down.
The
eggs
were
cooked
perfectly,
mine
sunny
side
up,
and
wife
had
overeasy.
The
home
fries
were
crispy
and
not
oily.
The
ketchup
looked
kind
of
old
as
the
colour
was
dark
red.
The
bacon
strips
were
gigantic
and
crispy.
The
sausages
were
a
bit
overcooked
and
dry.
I
would
probably
stick
with
the
bacon
next
time.
Overall,
if
you
are
looking
for
a
cheap
breakfast
special,
then
you
should
definitely
give
them
a
try.
Just
know
that
once
you
upgrade
and
add
a
coffee
you're
looking
at
$15
per
person
with
tax
and
tip.
