French fry crispy bits should really be a thing! 😁 These imperfectly fresh cut, double fried, and locally sourced fries/potatoes from Lakeview Burger Oshawa had the most crispy fry bits I've ever had! #frenchfriesdoneright I live for those French fry bits! 😅 Their Lakeview burgers were very tasty too, especially with their housemade sauce! Perfect combo to enjoy by the lake!

Ordered the bacon wrapped poutine.. wow.. it is filling.. and it had quite a bit of weight to it.. it was hot which I like.. being delivered I'm always sceptical... Had no problems and would recommend the bacon wrapped poutine and will order it again..

They almost gave me someone elses order . Then had to wait for them to remake or make my order , upon waiting i noticed they had cockroaces on their counter , the staff seen it and seen my reaction and just left the front counter area , made no attempt to do anything or say anything.. Safe to say i will not be returning , i get people get pests but my kitchen does not .. its gross . Good riddance lake view , unless someone wants that bug protein... nasty!

I can’t give a zero star review. Currently dealing with a huge food allergy in my partner after shredded lettuce was substituted with shredded raw cabbage. Called back and it sounded like they didn’t know what the difference between lettuce and cabbage. Told they don’t have cabbage. How do you not know the difference between lettuce and raw cabbage! Offered a credit for something else. Heck no! I want a full refund. Lucky the allergy doesn’t require an epi pen!!!

Ordered the $8 burger special, a chicken wrap, mac & cheese bites and a couple of poutines. Waited in the restaurant for 10 minutes past the pick up time with only one other guest in the restaurant. Got home and the food wasn't just not hot - it was cold!! Poutine had hardly any cheese curds on it and the gravy was obviously not even hot enough to make the cheese melt. Burger tasted like it was made hours ago, as well as the Mac and cheese bites. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend and most likely won't be ordering from there again.

After my fiance placed an order here they called and told us they didn't have veggie burgers so we politely canceled our order, when we went to cancel our order we saw we couldn't cancel through the website so we called back and asked the person on the phone to please cancel the order for us. She said that she couldn't and she would contact the owner. This was WEEKS ago we have since called back MULTIPLE times asking to speak to the owner and have been told that they would be in contact with us but they have made NO attempt AT ALL. They STOLE my money. Despite the fact that I canceled my order. My fiance left review saying the same thing, that we have yet to get our money back, and they replied back that they did in fact refund us and that was A LIE. This is a scumbag company NEVER ORDER FROM HERE. I WANT THE MONEY YOU GUYS STOLE FROM ME BACK!!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.

I bought their walk-in special today, it was a ridiculous offer $4 for a burger with fries. I would describe it as a good burger exceptional value. They were busy as heck so no complaints that my fries were a little on the crispy side. I would say if you're in the area it's worth checking out their menu. P.S. polite and friendly staff all around.

Great place to eat in Oshawa. Burgers and chicken are my favorite from here. They also make an amazing poutine. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for good food

Just got our order 5 minutes ago. Pathetic. Our burgers didn’t have the toppings we asked for and the fries are warm and soggy. So disappointed. Will not be ordering from here again. Not worth it.

Great food. Excellent value. The burgers have the old time diner taste. Fast service too. Manager should add a tip option on the debit machine. The cook was working hard and I only had my bank card.

I'm getting so I don't trust Google reviews anymore. Went in and got the classic Smashburger and it was fantastic, exactly what I was hoping for. Nice cheesy burger with awesome beef, great fries double fried and an awesome gravy. Every bit as good as Five Guys I'd say and half the price. Give these folks a try and disregard the nasty reviews.

The food is good but they only have 1 worker there. It's Friday at 1pm wouldn't you think to have more staff. I pre ordered and still waited 20 minutes.

I am always looking for a good burger place and this was not it...my wife ordered the 8$ combo w fries, Angus cheeseburger and a grilled cheese for the kid...regular burger was alright and my Angus cheese had no cheese and little toppings it was just another regular burger for 5$ more!...I am amazed however the grill cheese got the cheese because my wife said the young man was busier with what was going on in the back room than the one order in front of him..they offered one packet of ketchup when asked for more was given two more packets...look I spent years in the restaurant industry but I am willing to pay a little extra for a great product but if I am being treated like an after thought with mediocre food I'm likely not going to return...

Got 4 combos, fries and burgers, 1 was a veggie burger with a drink, but was no drink in the bag. The burgers were tasty, but lacking in toppings, tomatoes were mushy, had to look to find pickles and the relish. None of the 4 of us liked the fries, they were mushy and greasy. The place was busy, and I believe they were trying to get orders out as fast as possible, however getting fries that are mushy and overly greasy, enough grease the bag had grease coming through it, wasn't a way to gain repeat customers. It's stuff that could easily be improved though.

I got a buffalo chicken poutine about an hour before closing, and the fries were soggy and underdone, but the chicken was overdone and too crispy to even feel there was a meat texture, and tasted like it was just some Jane's chicken strips that you can buy from the grocery store cut up. There was also very little chicken compared to the soggy fries. The burger was good though. I just wouldn't have anything other than that from here now.

I got their "fried chicken burger" it was 2 overcooked chicken fingers on a untoasted bun. Wasn't great to be honest. The poutine I got had fries that weren't prepared right at all. Weren't cleaned properly at all. Very gritty and slightly under cooked too. Need to do better guys

Ordered deliver through justeat, burger was excellent would recommend for sure. Had a craving for a milkshake got a chocolate one, was good but chalky for some reason, then I paid extra for a very disappointing salad haha it was basically burger toppings in a box with shaved lettuce, sliced tomatoes, chunks of green peppers and a few cucumber slices, I ate the cucumbers. Probably better eating at the restaurant or not relying on delivery companies.

LONG wait for food. If you want dinner from here call ahead at lunch time. Slow staff who ignore you while you're waiting at the counter. Not even busy. Food is good, but horrible service time and non caring attitude

Terrible. The fries were raw, I had to put them in the oven to cook them. I’m so disappointed because you really did use to have the best fries. Burgers were ok, more topping could have definitely be added. One tiny tomato on the burger.

Very disappointing dinner. We ordered through Door dash first the delivery service was great. So this is not against them. We ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap, burger, fries and onion rings. The wrap was burnt on one side I ended up only eating the inside. Fries were soggy and under cooked. Onion ring were also soggy. Hubby said burger was ok. Super disappointing

My Wife wanted the extra bacon wrap the other day. She wanted lettuce,tomato and Mayo. It had bacon but one single peice of lettuce one tomato and hardly any Mayonnaise The wrap was so small around it looked pathetic I just got home with my Peameal on a bun. They were told LOTS OF Lettuce,extra tomato (knowing they don’t put much)from previous experience.The peameal is literally so over cooked it’s like jerky. Possibly one thin peice of Lettuce and I did get ONE slice of Tomato AGAIN Sometimes it’s GREAT,other times it’s very disappointing Very hit and miss(a lot of miss lately) I did take photos but do not wish to embarrass these people any further

We didn't even eat the food. The fries were extremely undercooked, a hair was found in the poutine and the burgers were subpar. I waited 30 mins in store for a pick up order that was placed 20 mins prior to arrival.

First off , the person serving Us looked like he didn't shower in days , I don't know how to put that kindly. If you're in the food business the least you can do is be well kept. We decided to just get a milkshake and 2 ice cream cones. Cones were like kids sized, but the worst part is that it was all frost bitten! Recently moved to Oshawa and am trying to support the local restaurants but this is just a big turn off!

Thank you for fixing my order of my baconless poutine and making it extra special I never normally had a issue but it was more than well fixed perfect for a bacon fix and it's a less messy way of eating a poutine

Best burger around! I got the Double angus bacon burger and it was outstanding. My wife got the chicken burger and she loved it. Fries are local and awesome. The service was excellent, great place, look forward to many return trips!

Ordered online 9:15. Order accepted. 2 min later I received a phone call from the business, saying they were closed. Obviously they weren't as I could hear people in the background. The web says they closed at 9:30 but the worker said they closed at 9:00pm. Would not honor my order nor would he honor the save 35 special, even though i ordered through THEIR website. I asked if they would give me the special deal tomorrow as this was their screw up, not mine?. Said NO. Very poor customer service. Not going there ever again. Was it worth losing hundreds of dollars a year? Cant see how it was.

The owner is a great guy. Been there for years, one thing that consistently can't be overlooked is how budget friendly this place is. Great food, always a deal and the best poutines around. The BBQ Bacon is a house special. It's great. Only place crazy enough to deep-fry a poutine, with bacon around it. Oshawa's finest. Thanks again!

Have been going to Lakeview Burger for years; tried for the first time ordering online; everything went smoothly. The owner and staff are friendly, well versed in their menu items and the food itself is made at time of order so is always fresh and hot, good sized servings and fairly priced. I would recommend Lakeview Burger for sure.

Clean restaurant, fast, friendly service. Prices on par for the food and it was good. Restaurant was clean and neat as well.

Hubby and I tried this place for the first time last night, we are thoroughly impressed! The poutine was extra crispy and flavourful, you can definitely tell they double cooked the fries. The Lakeview burger and chicken burger were juicy and delicious and the fried mac & cheese bites were insanely delicious, I can't say I've ever had a tasty mac & cheese at a restaurant. Will absolutely be returning.
