We had ordered Shrimps and chips, and Haddock fish and chips. Everything was perfect and the food was great. I will definitely come back here again.

Consistantly good fish and chips every Friday when we go. Light crispy batter and fresh moist fish. Fries look and taste freshly cut.

Ordered take out. Food was hot and fresh. Very tasty. Batter wasn't too thick on the fish and that's what I like. Server was very nice, friendly and professional. Restaurant was very clean inside. We will be back.

Pretty disappointing. Our regular fish and chip place was closed and decided to try here. It was very greasy, and bland tasting. We got the 2 halibut 1 chip take out, and I am 100% positive this is not halibut. It doesn’t taste right, and furthermore it looks like strips of white fish flattened together. Will not be returning. Lesson learned.

I got the halibut n chips & a side coleslaw. The food was delicious. My fish was cooked perfectly👌🏻 The best part though was the service. The most wonderful waitress, Carrie, did me a huge favor & delivered my food to me at home. I had an accident & currently cannot walk on my own. Carrie went above & beyond and offered to bring me my lunch after her shift. She is such a sweetheart. This world needs more people like her, someone who truly cares about the customers. Great job 😁

I just ordered the halibut fish and chips deal for 2. Amazing service, fresh hot and crispy fish and chips. Nothing like it in a cold snowy night. The lady at reception was very sweet and generous. Five stars👍

Hands down the best breakfast in the area. The eggs are always fresh and cooked to perfection exactly as requested; the piping hot potatoes crispy on the outside and soft inside, the sausage rich and juicy. The welcome is warm and the service outstanding; I felt like a regular from my second visit on.

Ever since they opened up multiple locations the food quality isn't as great. A little less tasty but the prices sure climbed. My son found his potatoes under cooked and tasteless, his toast wasn't fully toasted and his scrambled eggs were quite runny

I was a regular here.. Gave big tips all the time. That changed this morning. Wife and I sat down at a table, nobody acknowledged us. A single man walked in 5 minutes after us; he was approached and order placed his order within 1 minute of walking in the door. The server looked at us, and walked away to put his order in the computer. What did you think? We were sitting there catching a tan?? Terrible service!

My husband and myself go here at least 3 to 4 times a week they have an amazing breakfast deal. We were here this morning our waitress to us. Sandra was very good.She is very pleasant and friendly always asking us if everything is OK.she is very good at her job always cleaning and filling stuff. This us my go to place.

It was my first time here today and I can say I am happy with everything and I will be returning. I recommend seafood lovers to check out this place. We got the daily special today, cod and fries. I have to say I was impressed with the portion. The service was great and the environment was welcoming.

Overall such a great experience! The Halibut was so good ! That's beautiful crunch with the fluffy inside 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️. The fries were crispy and delicious as well! One of the if not thee best fish and chips in Oshawa I have had the pleasure of eating.

I’m from the South so my idea of fried fish is a bit different than this place. That being said, the halibut was good, big filet and cooked well. We had garlic bread, coleslaw, and sweet potato fries (with vinegar) on the side. What really stood out was the employee helping us. I didn’t catch her name but she wore glasses and had a short hairstyle. She was very kind and hardworking. Will revisit here next time we’re in Canada.

First time going to this location (for breakfast) and may turn into our local spot for daily breakfast! The daily special (1 egg, choice of meat, toast and potatoes) is very generous on portion size. Same goes for their "Grand Slam Combo" (3 eggs, all meat). Eggs benedict was also ordered and was impressively delicious. Highly recommended, great value!

Ordered the Sunday Special, first time there, staff was nice, polite and the halibut was great and quantity perfect, will snap a photo next Sunday. Price was as good as the food!

The Halibut House is amongst my favorite stops. They always provide me with the greeters welcome. They do that for everyone. No matter how many people are in there they always provide exceptional customer service. The only knock on these chains is you have to come a certain day to receive certain types of specials. Unless you're order the Senior Special. That's every day. Their breakfast are done well. Prices are good for Breakfast. The fish can be pricey depends on how much you're ordering. The more you buy the more costs are tied into it. A saving there would be really good.

Atmosphere is a bit old taverns country style. But the customer service is great and the food is served fresh been there at least three times while I venture in Oshawa and haven't been dissapointed in the taste of the food. I just wished the Cesar salad portion was larger along with the Haddock or sole but overall it's good spot. they have good breakfast deals which I'm unable to enjoy due to timing but one day I hope to try it out.
