    We love this restaurant; definitely one of our favourite buffets out there! We drive over an hour to eat here for special occasions. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming. The staff are wonderful, and the food is FANTASTIC! Great options for groups with people who both love and hate sushi. (Noodle dishes, soups, vegetable dishes, chicken dishes, beef dishes, etc.) Highly recommend!

    Truly an exceptional restaurant! The quality, service and atmosphere are phenomenal. I've come here with both friends, coworkers and family, it's truly such a nice place to eat and have a good time. I came here for the lunch special and ordered many different rolls, sashimi's and tempura dishes. All of the meat was very fresh and especially the fish! You can tell that they are focused on quality of the food. Service was also phenomenal as the waitresses were super helpful. My favorite dish here are the custard buns and the salmon sashimi! I'll continue to come back here for more!

    We decided to come here for our anniversary and although at first the food was very good and we really liked the specialty rolls. Things kind of went downhill when I took a bite of a crab meat tempura and found the plastic wrap still inside. This completely wrecked my experience and although we brought it to the restaurants attention - they did nothing. It was very disappointing especially since we have been to Makimono Bowmanville and Oshawa and had great experiences but also for $100 for dinner you should be able to expect some sort of apology.

    Best Sushi spot in Oshawa! The restaurant itself is huge .. and clean! Service is quick, food is fresh to order .. The lunch "All You Can Eat" is the best deal on their menu in my opinion. So many items to pick from on the menu.. dishes are even small enough to sample new things if you like that kind of thing.. if you like it order more even! Even a great selection of desserts. No reservation required, lots of parking and ATM available on site. Wheelchair accessible even the washroom is roomy enough to get around.

    I have always gotten my sushi from here as I live very close but my last experience was awful. I called and placed my order and waited the time they told me to which was 15 minutes before picking it up. I had my 1 year old with me so hence why I waited the time before pickup so I wouldn’t have to chase after him inside. It wasn’t ready so we had to wait which is fine but I was trying to keep him entertained and showed him a plant. He unfortunately grabbed it much harder and quicker than I was ready for and it fell over and the soil made a small mess. Usually I would have cleaned it up but I figured they have gloves or brooms so I don’t need to get myself dirty. The lady was very rude to me and never said a word until she came back to clean in and told me I should clean it and she will get my son a high chair. My mouth dropped! Not only did she not say anything to me before that but she had the audacity to make me feel horrible as a customer. She also said it’s my responsibly and I have to take care of my child. I had already paid at this point so I waited for my food ( which took much longer than the stated time). I work a customer service manager at a bank and my expectations in customer service is you take care of your customers and at a minimum not make they feel worse. I get that it sucks when they stuff happens but I would never expect that in a million years. I will never eat here again due to my poor experience which is sad because it’s the closest to me.

    We went for ‘all you can eat’ on a Wednesday night. Lots of food selection! Service was amazing and really fast. Food quality was better than average. Restaurant was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. Kids liked the robot servers. Only negative was the auto gratuity because we had 6 people (we have 4 kids, so we always have 6). We would have tipped the same amount as the service was great, but I dislike being forced as the tip is our choice.

    The restaurant looks very clean and the design is beautiful. But the food is something else. The chicken and broccoli: the chicken was very dry and when I told the manager and the chef the chef was not happy that I complained about his dish. the Sesame chicken dish tasted like eating a chew toy. The complementary soup and salad don’t even bother eating them. The only thing that was good was the sushi and I give it 7/10. Don’t go to this restaurant if you ever thinking of returning a dish because they will not be happy to hear from you

    I usually order all my sushi from this restaurant.. after today I will never spend another dollar here. I ordered dinner for myself and sat outside waiting for the notification that it was ready. Once I got the notification, I went inside and was greeted with the most disrespectful and unprofessional employee I think they have. She was serving tables and I saw her cleaning some on the way out if that gives any idea as to who it could be…. I walked in and showed her my phone and politely told her I was here to pick up my order, she took maybe a half a second to look at the counter and told me it wasn’t ready and said I needed to wait. Which was absolutely fine, but I POLITELY explained that I got a notification from the restaurant saying my order was ready and that it’s no rush but that’s why I came inside when I did. I absolutely understand food needing to take time and that was far from my issue. I had no problem with waiting, however after I explained that I had received the notification, she gave me the most snarky and stuck up face I’ve ever seen and almost seemed like she was mocking me when she repeated herself that it wasn’t ready. She didn’t say a word after that and left to go clean a table. Another really kind woman wearing a mask came up to me less than 2 seconds later and handed me my food. Needless to say I won’t ever return because of this one woman’s attitude problem.

    Good service, nice people working , loved general tsao chicken, tempura and spicy salmon. Was not into black dragon even though it’s normally my favorite. P.a. all you can eat currently is not open due to covid.

    Service at this location is horrible! Quality of food also has declined since Covid. Every time we come here they try to usher us out quickly, even at the door they tell us before we even sit down ! Half the restaurant is even closed down and you can’t sit anywhere!! Very annoying and frustrating. Will not be going there anymore !!

    The food presentation is excellent. The taste itself was a different experience. I pretty much worked my way through the entire menu looking for an exciting experience for my palate and did not find anything near that. People are friendly but theres a definite lack of attentiveness and it’s all just a bit mediocre. And what’s up with the stack a chairs at the front?

    First time trying an All. You can East sushis restaurant in Oshawa. We were greeted in right away. Menu and full service by Robots. iPad for ordering and robot serving food! Vast menu. Everything tasted good.

    We celebrated my friend’s bday here. We were on the longest table I believe…we’re 14 in total with the kids. We were accommodated without even making reservation ahead. The place is clean and big. Staffs were very attentive. What I loved most about this restaurant, the rice on their maki roll/hand roll was really soft. I can tell it’s freshly made. Not just straight from the fridge counter. That’s what made it different with other Japanese restaurant I tried. My husband liked the sesame chicken as well. We all enjoyed the food and the company!

    We ordered takeout online. Other than the server letting me sit and wait for almost 20 minutes while my food had been ready, everything was really great. All the rolls we had were delicious and fresh. The general Tao was also good not too spicy but really yummy.

    Good food, 4 stars for food due to raw mango in mango roll. Other than that it's pretty good. Went for lunch on a weekday, they charged each person $29.99, I'm guessing that it was the holiday pricing, God knows. I should've gone to mandarin cuz they don't charge $10 for toddlers. Good service, no complain there, very friendly staff.

    Best Japanese restaurant I've been to while on vacation in Canada. Staffs are very accommodating and attentive. We also enjoyed watching the robot server while it works. It really serves its purpose. Very useful and helpful. Food tastes good and freshly made. The restaurant is so clean and we can see staff disinfecting the area from time to time. A best place to dine in.

    A great place and servers are patient with kids. This is my second time here and we enjoyed it. The kids love watching and the robots go by. As far as food goes, for all you can eat sushi this is a very good place and having sashimi during lunch hours on weekends is excellent (not sure if they have that on weekdays). I will definitely go back there again.

    Actually, we five people went in for having a quick bite/snack and ordered few items, but no one told us in weekends they have only buffet. So when the bill came it was like full buffet fee for few snack bites. So be care-full 😅. Food was ok ok. Not that great but ok.

    dropped my s/o off to get sushi after they got a fresh new haircut. they were very happy, very full and very sleepy when I asked them later. dining in is incredibly cheaper than ordering out. this is their fave local sushi place and when I get them food from here it never fails to brighten their day. ten out of ten would satisfy my s/o again

    never eating here again.. Ordered one plate of food and found this in my broccoli, we let the waiter know right away and was still charged $40 after asking to leave. I love this place but I will never be going again.. this is messed up. Why is there a bug in my food?

    I’ve been the customer of this restaurant since about 9 yrs ago, even this year I’ve been here for lunch several times. I couldn’t believe the service of this restaurant at dinner time becomes this bad…..for an ayce dinner of $40 before tax, the service at dinner time now is worse than a fish market food stand. Walked in at 7:30 and finished dinner there within about an hour. At least 35 mins were waiting for the food. Not a busy time, about 4 waitresses, but only one was really working and taking care of customers. 1st order waited 20 mins and 2nd order waited 15 mins. No one came to refill water, waived hand and called waitress and nobody paid attention to customer needs. We finished within about an hour and that was almost 1.5 hrs before their store closing time. There was a girl mopped floor so wet on the way we need to leave the store. When we were having icecream, a girl pulled a dirty dishes cart started to clean our table, she even spilled some food waste on my dress. Also if you look at the picture, the bowl for teriyaki sauce is so small, the sauce is so little, if you dip the shrimp teriyaki, you have to dip- bite-dip again, how can you do that when you share the sauce with others. This store now becomes so low and dirty while charges an expensive price. The owner/manager should take this issue seriously

    Very disappointed. Ordered yam tempura, it was soft and mushy. Ordered the spicy California roll... nothing spicy about it. Ordered the deluxe dragon roll for $14.50, there were no tempura bits. We ordered it for the crunch, there was no crunch at all. The presentation was very sloppy and uneven. I had high expectations for makimono.... but sadly disappointed. Will not order again.

    Super fast and high quality food with a large variety. I was disappointed that there wasn't any tuna sashimi but hopefully it gets added to the menu. Side note, the delivery robot was hilarious. Staff would say excuse me to it as they walked by it as if it were another Staff member lol 😆 😂 🤣
