Such an amazing experience! This was my family’s first time having fresh restaurant quality ramen and it did not disappoint. Good portions ,great price and amazing flavour! They were also extremely friendly, knowledgeable and even went the extra mile to help my husband learn how to use chopsticks. We will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family! Thank you again for the amazing meal!!

I have to say, this place has the best ramen I have ever had. It speaks to my heart, since I can't go to Japan myself. We spoke with what I can assume is the owner or manager, letting me know all the ingredients are from Japan ! The Price is really good for the amount of food you get. The presentation.. just look at my pictures. I hardly ever take pictures but this place deserves the beautiful arrangements. The taste and smells made me feel giddy and like I was in Japan. The staff are lovely, and you can really tell they take pride in each bowl that comes out. I would suggest this location, since every Kenzo location is different. They really care here.

This review is in regards to my most recent visit which was Saturday June 11th 2022. Had a great dine in experience. My girlfriend and I both thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. First the appetizers. We decided to place an order for the 6 piece gyoza and a fried tofu dish. The gyoza are remarkable. Absolutely delicious. As someone who doesn't typically order pork I think the meat is very flavorful and has an enjoyable texture. The tofu dish (which I forget the full name of) wasn't really my cup of tea. I am happy to have tried something new but it wasn't for me. The real star of the show is the ramen. I ordered the spicy charsu and my girlfriend ordered the king of kings ramen. I like how we were asked which spice level we wanted to have with our ramen. I chose a level 1 and my girlfriend chose a level .5. We both thoroughly enjoyed the ramen. The broth is so intensely flavorful. The noodles both taste and feel fresh. You can tell that there is fresh produce in the ramen. Refreshing. The slices of pork on the ramen are amazing. Period. Also we are a big fan of the egg. Very tasty. Overall a great experience. Staff were relatively attentive. Could have been asked if we needed a top up of our water carafe but that didn't happen. We will be returning.

Well, I give 2 star because I could not lied to myself. My comments for the food. Ramen are pretty normal, not sure this is fresh noodle made in house or outsource. Dry and with little baking soda taste. Bamboo over cooked and chashu has no taste. Black fungus did not cut as slice and over cooked. Broth has no rich flavour. My rate is 5/10. Takoyaki. I am vey confused about this thing. Tako means octopus Japanese but sorry I have only eat flour balls with tiny squid piece(or none inside)! No cabbage and any fillings. Oh my, if your store don’t know how to make Takoyaki please search it on YouTube! I won’t paid 13 $ for flour balls! My rate is 1/10. I know this is hard time for business but please make it like real business. You can find much better ramen stores in Toronto downtown. Will not comeback again.

This has got to be the best ramen spot I've been to. And the $ can't go wrong! From the warm welcome greeting from staff till the time we were immediately seated. Our waiter was top notch and explained every option available. The Spicy Charsu was cooked to perfection, noodles, meat veg and spice level was on point. Huge portion size & multiple depths of flavour from the seasoned pork to the silky smooth broth and house made noodles. The Tonkatsu with spicy mayo was a great side dish all good side the ramen, very well cooked and great seasoning. The dining area is very well kept and the wooden furniture gave the restaurant an authentic, rustic look. Great efficient service as always! Third visit to Kenzo.

The food and service was amazing, however the place was rather small and seating wasn't all that comfortable. However the ramen was the best in town. I don't think I have tried anything better.

Arguably the best Ramen place in GTA. The broth’s texture, the meat, the other ingredients and the taste is outright amazing. I have been frequenting spots far in the city but I am glad I find a good spot in my backyard.

I have loved Ramen for a long time bit this is my first time enjoying fresh Ramen and it met all of my expectations and then some. We went on a Friday at lunch time amd the service was incredibly fast and the food was amazing. I am not a huge spice fan and so we got the .5 level of spice. It was just the right amount. The Takoyaki was perfectly cooked and had amazing flavour. The black Tonkotsu had a savory broth and the pork was cooked perfectly. The King was a giant bowl of noodles and toppings. Definitely going to be our place to go in the coming cold months

We were in town and googled a place to eat. And we were surprised to see a Kenzo in the area. We have been to multiple Kenzo locations before, and must say that their broths are fairly consistenly delicious, rich and flavourful. This location offers a fair amount of seating and has ample of space compared to other locations which are usually cramped. We had one small mishap with one server who was new, but Daniel came and resolved it very quickly. He also gave us great recommendations and was very knowledgeable of the menu. Overall the customer service in this location is excellent especially Daniel. But all the staff were all professional, warm and personable which creates an inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be back when in town again!

Literally so good. I want to go back asap! And very reasonably priced as well which was awesome. Wish there were more vegan/vegetarian options, but all in all, it was the perfect amount of food and very well made

Great ramen place. There were lots of options for many different dietary restrictions (vegetarian, eggs only, no red meat). The portion sizes are quite large for the $16 bowls ( I ate mine over 2 meals). The server we had was very kind and quick. The best part is a 15% cash discount!! Would come back here.

Had been here before in the past but went again during a power outage in my part of town and as the last few times I've been the food was fantastic, staff friendly and overall a great place to get a good hearty meal in downtown Oshawa. Definitely recommend.

Best Ramen in Durham region. There’s no competition to this place. Great price and the portion is a bit bigger than some of the ramen places I’ve been to in Toronto. You get further discount with cash payment. Personally love the black garlic tonkasu. Quality/taste: 8.5/10 Quantity: 8/10 Price: $$

Great ramen and excellent service! Be very careful with the spicy ramen, it is extremely hot. I got a level 3 out of 4 and I really wish I had gone with a 1. I am very good with spice but this was really hot. The only thing I wish this restaurant had would be dessert options

Have ordered the Orochong at least 25-30 times from the Oshawa location and it has never disappointed. Always enough for two meals. Usually when I choose veggie over a meat option (same price) I get more veggies. Tonight, hardly any. A sad little meal and barely warm despite quick Uber delivery. Guessing it’s better to eat in or order in person. Very disappointing.

One of the best, if not THE best ramen spots in Durham. Growing up in Toronto and Scarborough we would always venture out for ramen to the city or to Markham. A neighbour suggested this place and we had low expectations...but were completely blown away by the quality and portions. Highly, highly recommend this spot especially if you're looking for quality ramen in Durham. Parking is a little tricky, they have no parking lot but there is paid street parking for cheap ($1.25 per hour).

So happy to have found a good ramen in the area! Service was friendly. Prices were good for the size of their ramen dishes and their broth is VERY well seasoned - I had the pork soup and my partner had a level 3 spicy one. I was hoping they would serve free hot green tea like many other Japanese restaurants do, but that wasn't the case. We also had a side of fried tofu and panned fried dumplings. Both dishes were very tasty but I found the dumplings dough to be a bit too soggy. Will be coming back often!

Great food and friendly service. They forgot a few items I ordered but they quickly retrieved it when I raised the concern.

Tonkotsu King Ramen is pretty good but roasted pork is a little dry and tough. Katsu-Kare (chicken cutlet) the rice was under cook. The matcha smoothie is a must have next time we come (asked for 50% sugar but it was still very sweet, next time we’ll try this drink with 30% sugar). The staffs are very friendly.

This was my second time eating here. I had the Ji Su Ramen. The flavours were delicious, the food hot and fresh, and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and service was prompt. I'll be back.

I was in the restaurant today & I have to say the food was amazing. My server was lovely as well she had green hair (I didn't catch her name but she was amazing & super familiar with spice levels & the menu overall) We received our food within 15 minutes after we placed our order! We paid a really great price for two big bowls of ramen & I even took home a bit of left overs! I absolutely love this place & i can't wait to come back! <3

Everything we ordered was great, perfectly hot the spot on a cold night. The ramen broths were tasty and the noodle serving quite filling. Would come back again

It was 5 stars but I have to decrease it to 3.because 2 years ago when I rated them they were the best. I ordered from them tonight (I have had a bad year so I haven't been able to have kenzos in over a year cause I couldn't afford it) so this was my first time having it in a year. Before covid I always went in I was a regular went once a month. But in 2020 I have always ordered via skip or Uber. The noodles were way over cooked. Normally they have texture. This was like mush you pick it up and it just breaks apart. Never had noodles like that before from here ever! I mainly got empty shells for mussels 5 shells only 2 had anything in them. The onigiri was lightly burned instead of browned but it was okay. The charsu didn't taste right, but it was still good Broth was still amazing and the veggies were cooked perfect. And the gyoza was still amazing Rice soboro was also great. I did not press for a refund for the ramen from skip. Because overall I still enjoyed it. Just disappointed it's no longer amazing. I may try again in the future but if it's the same mushy noodles I will have to find a new place.

Delicious ramen and very friendly service at Kenzo in Oshawa. My favourite is the Netsu Ramen level 2 spicy. It's the bottom bowl in the picture. The top bowl is Sapporo. Nice to know there are lots of good vegetarian options as well.

Kenzo Ramen in Durham impressed me with its delicious, piping hot soup base and a decent noodle texture. Their menu offers a variety of options, and I was delighted by the generous servings in the Tonkatsu King, which included three eggs and four pork slices. Among the few ramen spots in Durham, Kenzo Ramen stands out as one of the best choices.

Best place in town to have a fresh, delicious, warm and full of flavour Ramen! I just loved it! The portions are huge and the attention is amazing!
