Contacted this Motel to get a room and rates. They did not, I repeat!!! Did not, answer all of the question and responses were quite rude to boot! Needed a place for the night and possibly 6 weeks as our house just burned down and this place was absolutely no help at all!

Needed a quiet spot for a night. Last minute hotels through the roof. Come here, was a bit surprised at the 125 price tag. But the location is good, last minute, only hotel. My room was quite large, but it was positioned right outside the 2nd floor smoking area so always loud. It was run down, blankets dirty, but I had my own. The staff were not pleasant at all. Blunt, hard to understand, but based on what I saw when I was there, they are used to dealing with some characters. So I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. It is exactly what it is. A cheap motel for a quick nap or emergency housing.

Due to unfortunate circumstances I had to leave home for a couple days and stay at a Motel in Oshawa called Knights Inn (formerly Kingsway Motel). I had paid for 4 nights Sunday-Thursday at 80$ a night. 320$ total, with 100$ deposit. Upon entering the room, it wasn't that bad considering its former reputation. I had not completely fully inspected the room top to bottom as I was seeking refuge for a couple days and I needed to unpack, unwind and relax. Monday, I had an appointment and came back, during the day light I had noticed the room had been damp, the bed was wet, there was mold everywhere and it was a complete disaster. I had asked for a new room, as mine was covered in mold among other damages. He immediately said that he had no other rooms and I had to leave the next day (I had not even caused a fuss) and meanwhile I was paid up until Thursday. I told him I would leave Monday (it was only 3pm) and I wanted a refund for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. (Thursday was check out day). He told me I got what I paid for and if I wanted somewhere nicer to go to a Best Western or something nicer, and he would only refund me for Tuesday and Wednesday plus deposit. I also had someone come check up on me from time to time to make sure I was alright and to bring me coffees and comfort food. Having guests at all is apparently "not permitted" as he claimed, although those are not the rules. If a guest stays OVERNIGHT it is an extra 10$. Considering I respected all of the rules, by no smoking in my non smoking room, I am very tidy, was quiet and did not have any partying and was relaxing opposed to his other tenants who are prostitutes and dealers I deserve more respect than that. I have been to much nicer, cleaner and hospitable motels/hotels for the same price who treat their customers with respect and dignity. I had only gotten refunded for Tuesday and Wednesday plus my damage back, and am now currently in a Motel, the same price who where it is properly run, taken care of and a safe/comfortable environment with amazing staff.

Funny being a local I stayed here 2 X. Once was my wedding night, as I had American friends up so I wanted to stay in the same place. It smells. Shower head falling off, mold, door handle falling off, chipping paint etc etc. I suppose it is better than the cloverleaf

My own experience of this motel was ok. It was clean, had TV, and a comfortable bed. That's really all you need in a motel. I would not suggest it for long stays, but short stays. Why not. I see they've also updated it since I've been there, and it looks quite nice.

Don't judge a book by its cover. It looks like a whole from the outside but the rooms are large clean and comfortable. Great free WiFi and very friendly staff. There is a lot of effort and money being put I to this little motel. The rooms were recently renovated and the car park was being redone the morning I left. Will definitely go back here

Excellent value for your money. The rooms are clean and unlimited wifi which works very well. I stayed for a month at a reasonable weekly rate. The owner goes out of his way to help with anything that arises. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for value for their money. My stay was great.

Spider bites are never a pleasant reminder to deal with and, especially when a toddler is covered with them, moreso than the rest of us who were also driven nuts by them. The rooms are simple but clean. The owners are very pleasant and they were kind enough to accept cash and they were very kind and understanding that we did not have the $100 refund and let us rent the room anyhow, of which we are grateful. Really, you get what you pay for and spiders are not anyone's fault but I sure hope pest control can help, because it's uncomfortable.

This motel has totally changed since I stayed here last. Think new management or owner has taken over. It doesn't even look like the same place. Renovated everything - office is so much nicer to walk into with polite staff (not the B that use to be there), the building looks repainted, the rooms look like they were re-painted, new Sony TVs (flat screens not the old tubes that were there before) and new very comfortable beds. I'm sure there's more but my memory is not that good :). Nice changes. Budget motel with a great location and now a very descent room.

This place was horrible. The owner was rude and a lier. The cockroaches owns the place. The fridge and microwave were full of them. The owner would come into our room when we weren't there. Also the coffee stuff he gave out are outdated. The hot water never worked and you always smelled crack cocaine all through the place and the owner had an on going deal with a drug dealer who rented a room there long term. His children were always on the office space and unsupervised and absolutely filthy head to toe. The only upside to this hotel is you don't need a credit card or identification but if you have a credit card the comfort Inn very nearby, is 9$ a night cheaper and includes a huge free all you can eat breakfast and the rooms are amazing compared to the Crapsway Hotel.

This is a true family-run motel. The facilities were OK- the wifi didn't work in my room (although it did work elsewhere) and I saw a bedbug, but there were no holes in the walls or other obvious problems. The other guests seemed a bit sketchy, but they were not that loud. I had a minor billing issue, but I was able to clear it up with little fuss. Overall, this is not a bad hotel for the price.

It was like walking into a freezer, the heater/ac unit was completely turned off so I had to crank it up all the way to get halfway warm and unfortunately keep it at that setting all night. It's an older unit so it was so loud and clanky that I had to turn the volume on the TV up extra loud to hear it. Not a room for someone like myself who just likes to doze off to the quiet noise of a TV in the background. Overall clean, there was no comforter or extra heavy blankets on the bed or in the room. I did like the fact that your door automatically opens to the outside so there's a chair beside the door of each unit for "fresh air ".

1 star hotel at best. 100 deposit. Rooms are small and management is kinda hot or miss. Try somewhere else if you have the time.
