ENORMOUS shawarma with delicious high quality ingredients- the fattoush salad and crispy pita chips inside really sets this apart from the competition. One half of their shawarma sandwich is the same size as most other shop's full large shawarma! Beef shawarma (5/5) - the size, taste and consistent high quality has me addicted. I have to stop by any time I'm in the area. The wrap has a beautiful fresh flavor from the fattoush salad as well other toppings. Be careful not to ask for too much hot sauce - great flavor but deadly heat if you get too much! The service is always top notch at this location, the guys are always as friendly as can be! The only thing I find strange is that rather than having a rotating spit of meat cooking behind the counter - they use pre cooked meat which they keep portioned in containers in the fridge which they then microwave to heat up for the sandwich. I find this not exactly ideal, but I see how it reduces wasted product for them - which I assume helps them keep quality and prices as great as they are!

Microwaved chicken in a ziplock plastic container !!! This is definitely not chicken shawarma. How can you reheat the chicken in a plastic container and think it’s safe or edible for people to eat ??

This is a good pita place, fast and friendly. My daughter likes mild to no spice so they let her try the rice first just in case. She liked it. We got a chicken and rice special and a chicken shawarma pita. Both were good and sizable. One thing to keep in mind they will ask you if you want hummus and garlic sauce, these are not included, they are .75 cents each extra, so for the two items that's $3 extra. For the 2 items plus one bottle of Pure Life water and tip $32.65. So a little pricey. Overall, a well run place to get some good food fast. James

My first visit tonight. I had heard good things and was not disappointed. Got the beef gyro add feta. It was huge. Had to save half for tomorrow. Great value, delicious and the staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend.

Food tastes phenomenal! Not to mention the servings are crazy big, I'm a big dude but I can barely finish the whole thing even when I'm hella hungry. Staff are great too, very friendly and knows all of the regulars' names. Amazing!

Every time we come to Pita Deli there is a line, because the service is good, and food is good and at a decent price. Portions are a good size. For small eaters if you order a gyro or shawarma ask to have it cut in half so you can easily store and have your uneaten portion at a later time.

This is by far my most favorite restaurant in Oshawa. It has exceptional quality (consistent) and massive quantity. The shawarma wraps here are full of flavor, healthy and a MUST try. The style is similar to Greek, with lots of fattoush (salad packed inside). There is chicken, beef, roast beef and Montreal smoke meat options which make this place super unique. The vegetables are always fresh and the staff here are very friendly. I've seen the same faces for years here, which makes me think that the restaurant values and appreciates it's employees. I come here at least one to two times per week and I am a loyal customer. This place has been phenomenal for years and looking forward to continuing to come here for many more!

This pita restaurant is one of my favorites. It's easily accessible with ample parking in the plaza. We have had the chicken and beef shawarma wraps so far. Their wraps are generally enormous in size and stuffed with fillings. My only complaint was that the sauces with additional charges weren't clearly labelled.. So during my first visit, I added two sauces and some pickled veggies that all had extra charges. Lesson learned (This has since been fixed and they're all clearly shown) The meat and sauces are all flavorful. They make an in house hot sauce that packs a punch. If you're looking to get a good bang for your buck, you'll definitely want to check them out.

Hands down, one of THE BEST pita spots in Durham. I've always seen this place but never gave it a chance as I am not a fan of other "pita" spots. A friend told me to check them out so I did and I was not disappointed. Their Chicken and Garlic as well as their Beef Shawarma Pita wraps are amazing. I need to try their corned, Montreal or roast beef another time. Even their falafels are amazing. I always add one into my wrap. In terms of their sauces, every one is on point; including their hot sauce. This place is consistent and has easily become a weekly staple. I've frequented many places over the years I've been in Oshawa and this is one that has remained as consistent as ever. Just look at the size of their pita halves! Delicious. There is a reason why they are forever busy.

I have been coming here for many years. I have gotten to know the owners and staff really well, and they my daughter and I. I am always greeted with smiles and feeling like I'm one of the family. Best pita around. They know my order by heart and know what my daughter likes. It is definitely my number one takeout places when I do decide to eat out. I have taken many friends and family members and converted them into fans of the place as well. You walk out with a massive size pita and a drink and stuffed for the rest of the day. I'm never disappointed with the food or service.

No doubt the best restaurant in town. Excellent pita, huge size and very reasonable prices. The staff are always fast and friendly.

DO YOU WANT A GIANT TASTY PITA!!? This is the place! You're not gonna go hungry after eating shawarma here. If you can even finish it. I didn't feel heavy or too stuffed after eating this. It was really fresh and tasty.

Oh my deliciousness!!! THE BEST falafel EVER!!! NO words to describe these babies, AND baklava !!! Holy smokes the Philo pastry is perfection and the perfect amount of filling and honey goodness on top! I will definitely buy these to stock my home stash for my lunches!! Amazing (insert angels singing) 😇❤️😘 K, so back in today...01/27/23 and I tried the chick pea and egg plant on rice..daily special...I just have to say yummy in my tummy!!! So lovely, with tomato, spice so flavourful, yet not hot...so nice to have some diversity since all the focus seems to be on hot spice these days...I can count on Pita Deli to never disappoint!

This place is the best pita place in Ontario if not in Canada. Every ingredient they use is fresh. Their hummus and Garlic sauce is to die for. Also portion you get for the money is large compared to other pita places. Customer service is excellent. If you are in Durham, you have to check this place out. You won’t regret it.

Thank you for the delicious food. We love the fattoush and garlic paste.. amazing everytime. Not happy to see the chicken is warmed in the microwave in plastic... steers me away from comng but overall the food is delicious.

Excellent service and great sized wraps stuffed with a lot of toppings!! My only bone to pick is that I wish they had a different hot sauce. Also where are the pickled turnips???? The chicken shawarma is not traditional on a rotating spit but everything still tastes super fresh. I do highly recommend to try.

This place is AMAZING! Excellent value for money. This WILL be my go to place from now on! Portion to value is great! And really tasty as well! Been couple months since my review. This location is still great. But something about their protiens that just taste tooo artifical, as of lately....

Food here is always good. Have had no complaints ever. In the pita or as a salad. Also the Falafels are delicious too. They make their own hot sauce which is always 🔥.

If you haven't been here yet, you must be new in town. Best pita place around. Always quality and always tasty. Been going here for about 10 years. Whenever I try other places I'm let down because this place sets the bar high. They fill the pitas up so you're actually full

Unbelievable! After numerous visits every order has been amazing! Friendly staff that make your order any way you want. The pitas are massive and beyond filling. Prices are well beyond reasonable. You'll be more than satisfied!

I ordered a chicken shawarma +$0.70 Hummus +$0.90 Feta +$0.90 Cheddar Cheese. Where to start... The chicken was mushy, unflavored and unappealing. Super soggy and gross. The consistency was like tuna drowned in mayo. The 70 cent hummus couldn't have been spread any thinner, there was barely any on the pita at all and IMO should have been included in the shawarma for free Half way through I was convinced there was no cheddar cheese and then I got to the bottom of the pita... it was a kraft single... I couldn't believe it, if I knew that was what they were putting on as "cheddar cheese" I would never have got it - disgusting. I use to eat here often about 10 years ago, and I was looking forward to the signature pita deli experience I've had in the past, but I was **extremely** disappointed! I will never eat here again in my life. For anyone looking for an amazing pita go to Osmow's instead, better price and superior quality. *edit* Added a picture showing a piece of the kraft single because wow, just can't believe it...

First time here. We tried the falafel plate and their special (chickpea and eggplant with rice). Omg, my tastebuds were dancing! Everything was so good, and fed 3 adults! I was watching them construct a pita for another customer, and they were huge! Will definitely come back and try their pita. Forgot to take a picture before we ate. We got too excited lol.

I have been away from home in the hospital for two weeks. I needed good delicious healthy food to eat. This was the best choice by far. The customer service at this location is the best and they care. Even a little message on my bag that read to get better soon made me feel much better. The safest food to eat in a clean restaurant. 😋 Thank you 😊

This is hands down the most efficient food service location ever! The staff are very friendly and approachable and work extremely well together. I have never waited more than 10 minutes from the time I walk in to the time I leave with my food, even if the line is to the door. Keep up the awesome work!

Amazing service! It was busy when I arrived and I assumed I'd be in line for a while, but I was pleasantly surprised at how fast and efficiently these guys pack the pitas. The pita was heavy with toppings and was super delish! My only regret is forgetting to add a sauce, but it was still tasty!

I heard great things about this establishment, so I had to try it myself. The food, the people and the energy clearly make this place what it is. I recommend you try the falafel wrap with fatoush salad inside and your choice of garnishes. Further, if you want to treat yourself ask for the grape leaves. What a treat. Definitely the most authentic falafel in the region.. If you want a taste of Lebanon when you’re in Oshawa, come here. It is simply the BEST.

Hands down the best place to eat. The staff are amazing the price is great the quality unmatched and the proportions are HUGE! I can't say enough good things about this place. I've moved away for years and the workers still remembered me. And any time I visit I'd be sure to go there. Sooooooo good!
