    Veronica st People's is the best sales woman ever. Got my girlfriend's promise ring there, my promise ring, both of our wedding rings as well and she helped us every step of the way. She worked at another diamond store in the mall before and we were actually shopping there first and moved over to People's because she told us she was going to be working there. 7 months of shopping later we have gotten 4 rings and probably many more jewelry in the future. Go in and ask for Veronica and you won't be sorry! Edit** got the 0% interest for 12 months payment plan on my promise ring and Veronica put it out for a rushed order to be resized so I can hopefully pick it up soon. Got an extra discount for some reason, I know jewelery can be expensive but People's always seems to have pretty good sales. Go in, ask for Veronica, promise she will take care of you.

    After visiting this remarkable store, our expectations have been raised significantly! My husband and I were in search of new rings to renew our vows and wanted them to symbolize our present selves. Fortunately, we had the pleasure of being assisted by the incredible Vicky, a truly wonderful woman who provided us with invaluable help. Thanks to her, we discovered the perfect set of rings, and our happiness knows no bounds. We had visited this store years ago and were content, but this recent visit far exceeded our wildest expectations. The management has undergone a remarkable transformation over the years, and we are eagerly looking forward to returning to find some exquisite pieces for our vow renewal ceremony!

    Went in for wedding bands for my fiance and I for January, with a low budget and hope that we can find something we like we met Vickie. (Hopefully that is spelt correctly) Vickie helped us find a well priced set of bands in our own styles, but that still matched well. We were out of the store quickly, very happy with our purchase, and any further Jewelry will be purchased here.

    This is not directed at an individual store. This is directed at the company's website. I'm not sure if anybody has the absolute nightmare of trying to navigate a website. That's. Continuously trying to push stuff on you. The entire time you try and order something. You have to keep closing the $50 off. If you sign up for subscription, it is absolutely ridiculous. The fact that I have to do it twenty times to look at a ring is ridiculous. I solved the problem I went somewhere else. Stop trying to push stuff nobody wants and I know as soon as you get us once. Because you accidentally hit that button that I have a lifetime of emails from people that you pass my email address on to.

    My god, Veronica is an absolute ray of sunshine, even when I dont plan on buying, I make sure to stop by and say hi to her when in the mall. That being said she showed me a bracelet that she knew id love and of course she was spot on! Thank you Veronica for the amazing service as always and for this amazing find, byzantines are not super common and I loveee this bracelet.

    The repair experience at Peoples in Oshawa is terrible! We took my husband's wedding ring in to be repaired on Jun 11th. We were told it would be ready for pick up on July 2nd. Went back to the store July 2nd only to be told "Oh! That's interesting. Someone was to have called you about the price of the repair." Interesting indeed since the ring is under lifetime warranty. After much apologizing we were told the repair would be expedited and ready in a week. A week later we head back to the store and no ring! Lots more apologies with a promise find out what's going on and give us a call. It's now July 11th ... no call and no ring! At this point we just want his ring back.

    Was in recently and I think there must be new management or something. The store seemed much more organized and the staff were super friendly. Over all happy with my last shopping experience at peoples. Can’t wait to actually go back and purchase the other ring I had my eye on….Thanks to all the helpful staff. Including the one that distracted my 7 year old while I looked for what I was looking for. It make the experience so much more relaxing. Thank you.

    I had an amazing experience here especially because of Veronica. She took her time to listen to me, and she helped me find exactly what we were looking for .     We had a bit of a mix up with an online order and it had been sent back to the facility right before Christmas and we had no idea. Nadine met us at the door and explained what happened and spent an hour on the phone with customer service in Ohio trying to sort it out. She got our money back for us and we were able to purchase something just as gorgeous. Honestly Nadine went above and beyond in my mind and I will be happy to deal with peoples going into the future. Thank you Nadine you were awesome.

    I knew exactly what I was looking for, a 2.00 CT. Diamond Bridal Set in 14K Gold, and this is what I purchased. I worked with Vicky and there was no pressure or upselling to something else. She did recommend I purchase the "Forever Cherished Lifetime Protection Plan" and I did as it made good sense based on the purchase. Thank you Vicky and Peoples Jewellers Oshawa.

    I always wanted to purchase a ring but could never find something suitable for me, because I have super sensitive skin. I went into the store just to browse and I had the pleasure of dealing with Josie! She helped me find the cutest ring and I couldn’t be happier! The staff at this location are all incredible and super welcoming. I would highly recommend purchasing from this location! I want to send a big thank you again to Josie! I will definitely be looking for her on my next purchase.

    Terrible customer service and online order pick up process My wife made an order and I went to pick it up with the confirmation email. It turns out that there is no process built in to give the product to someone else I have asked them: 1. Check the email 2. Call the number on order to confirm 3. Let the person call you All of them are rejected. I asked if I can cancel and pay again. I was told to pay almost twice as the discount online is not applicable anymore. Cant believe even after Covid some of these companies not able to have these basic processes in place.

    I’m a loyal customer and I was shocked by my experience today. I got a call that I could pickup a necklace that I needed to be fixed. When I arrived, it was not busy and the worker at the reception area, Yukta, refused to serve me. When I asked for help to pickup the order, she asked me to wait a second to help a different customer, who did not ask for help originally and was just browsing. After she greeted the other customers she did not come back to help me so I kept waiting. The other workers in the store did not help me either even though there were no other customers, the three workers in the store were just standing around and chatting amongst themselves and no one came to help. Eventually one of the workers came to help me. When I asked Yukta why she did not help me afterwards, she ignored me. I am not sure why I was not made welcome to the store. I intended on purchasing a necklace afterwards, but due to the horrible customer service I left.

    Horrible customer service. We walked in hoping to find a wedding band but walked out empty handed. We stood by the ring section and there were 3 ladies standing chatting amongst each other. No employee greeted us or asked us if we needed any help. Most customers in the store were not being looked after. The employees seemed bored and not interested in making any sales. We never had a experience like this at any other peoples locations.

    Ashleigh provided me exceptional customer service. I was waiting for like 4-5 minutes for someone to help me, one lady working was not even with anyone and didn’t offer to me help me or even greet me. As soon as Ashleigh was done helping with her customer she asked if I needed assistance. I was looking for child earrings that screwed in the back and had a plastic backing behind the screw in backing, she went through every single pair of children’s earrings with me to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted. She was also super friendly to me and my 18 month old daughter. I would definitely return to this location again because of Ashleigh.

    I called a week ago to see the status on my engagement ring repair. I spoke with Tirup who informed me that it was still out. I recieved a phone call an hour later that my ring would be available the next day after two. I came by three days after to pick it up. When I arrived I was told by a different associate that no my ring was infact not in and that they could not find out how long it would be. I also wanted to add that my ring was sent out over a month and a half ago and at this point my ring was two week past the date I was quoted that it would be returned by. Definitely won't be returning for further purchases.

    The jewelry isn’t the issue. The staff starting their inventory right at 11am when the store is supposed to open at 11 isn’t professional at all. I was told to walk around the mall for 30 mins and hopefully they would be done. Very disappointing . I ordered online for pickup and still had an issue to pick it up.

    Lying costumer service! Went into look at rings with a $500 limit and asked to be shown that price range. This lady walks over takes out one ring to show and says that was it. Found that very odd, so I decided to look online to view their store inventory and lo and behold theirs a lot more than just one ring in that price range. Didn’t even look into it on the computer or go to different sections. Do not recommend this place at all.

    I was in a hurry looking for a special gift for my mom’s 50th birthday and I was immediately overwhelmed by all the options in the store. Josephine was super helpful and friendly and really helped me give me the confidence and knowledge in what I was selecting. Will definitely be visiting again soon! :)

    Shopping for the perfect jewelry is hard enough as it is, but when you add a pandemic on top of it.. I was completely overwhelmed. I reached out to Peoples Jewelers in February to help me decide on the perfect earrings for my mom. Instantly, I was connected with the kindest sales associate: Veronica. Veronica took the time to listen to everything I wanted, and then went above and beyond to show me all of the styles that were available, and in a way that accommodated my style of shopping. The experience was seamless, and exceeded all of my expectations. I was so happy with the experience that when my dad said he wanted to purchase a gold chain for my Grandmother for Mothers day, that if it wasn't purchased with Veronica and the team at Peoples, I would not feel confident. Yet another amazing experience, and another fabulous purchase. Thank you to Veronica, and the team at Peoples for showing me what world class customer service is, I will never go anywhere else for my jewelry needs.

    My fiancée ordered my engagement ring online just before the pandemic. I was so thrilled when he proposed a few weeks later. After wearing the ring for about a week, it lost 3 diamonds and then another 3 in the 2 weeks that followed a total of 6 diamonds!. Of course I had to wait to bring it into the store as everything was locked down. Thank goodness my fiancée bought the added insurance to replace and lost stones so we sent it in and had to wait 6 weeks to receive it back. Now after having it back for 3 months, it has lost yet another diamond! I would have thought after losing the last bunch they would have ensured that all the stones were checked for any more loose diamonds. So now I've sent it in again to be repaired...another 6 weeks! It's been in repair longer than I've had it on my finger! This is absolutely the last piece I get from Peoples Jewelers! Obviously they are not putting much into the making of their jewelry

    My fiance Bought me a beautiful engagement ring and band. It was too big - normal- so we took it back to get it resized. We spoke with Maggie, and she used the rings to help me pick my size. I told her I was comfortable with a 5. She gave me a 5.5 and I said no that's too big. So she said she was going to put 5.25 on the paper due to my hand swelling in the summer. That's fine. I get it last night and it's still way too sloppy because it's a 5.5 stated on the receipt . I put it on this morning to look again and THERE ARE 5 DIAMONDS MISSING. This is a brand new, never been worn, ring. Hopefully Peterborough can fix HER mistake.

    Poor customer service. I waited for 45 mins to have someone show me what I wanted. I asked a lady to help me who was working in the cash counter. She refused to help me. I went to 2 different sales Rep to help me and they had no interest. I don’t know if my race was an issue. Everyone was very very rude. I at last bought what I wanted but I believe I faced racial discrimination.I can give the exact time I was there, and you can check your video footage and how I was begging to your sales rep to help me. And I know I will be ignored here too!!

    This store is absolutely the worst jewelry store for customer service. It use to be great but has gone downhill in the past few years. Also, when they send out your jewelry to be repaired or recoated, it takes minimum 3 weeks. Come on People’s, get with the times - 3 weeks is unacceptable. One last thing, try calling the store to ask a question - good luck, they never answer their phone. I’ve been trying for days now - pathetic!!

    Their staff doesn't know what their warranties are good for. They all ignore you. I was ignored for 10 minutes today and basically chased an employee around the store to notice I needed help. Ridiculous.

    Veronica at peoples jewellers was incredible yet again ! After dealing with her for many many years I happened to walk by her store and she said Hi with that friendly smiling face that I had to see what she was so excited about. She showed me the new Cinderella Ring and it was to die for. I couldn’t resist and it had an incredible promo on it! If your looking for the perfect gift for yourself or anyone at the best price possible Veronica is your go to jewellery expert. She’s def the ONLY QUEEN V that’s makes jewelry fun to buy. Thank you.

    I purchased a family birthstone ring online. When I received it, I noticed the 2 simulated citrine gems were different colours & the ruby was more pink than red. I took it to the People's store in Oshawa Centre and Marla was extremely helpful. She helped me process a return & repurchase the ring with the hopes that the new ring will be made better. The reordered ring was a higher price & she spent a long time on the phone with Customer Service convincing them to give me a gift card for the difference that could be applied to the new order. They agreed & I was very happy to be able to reorder my ring at the same price as the first one. Fingers crossed the new ring will have matching citrines.

    I had my diamonds inspected October 19th. I have a lifetime protection plan with Peoples. I was not told the name of the lady who served me. She was very unpleasant to deal with. She just took my rings, asked for the last inspection sheet and cleaned my rings and bracelet. She put the bracelet back on and gave me my paperwork. In the past I have been introduced by the associate and she called me by my name. I was very disappointed dealing with an unhappy person who obviously did not want to be there.

    Very poor customer service to say the least.. There were quite a few customers there at the time, but the employees seemed quite disorganized & confused on who to serve first/just didn’t seem to know what they were doing. When I was finally helped by an employee, she seemed to have a lack of knowledge on the products & overall seemed unhappy working there or reluctant to make a sale. I mean, why would someone that seemed so miserable work in customer service/sales? The cherry on top to finish off my experience was that when I got home, I actually found out that the earrings she had just packaged for me (put in a box) was missing a backing. Therefore I now need to spend MORE of my time dealing with this whole nightmare of an experience. I wanted to add that the ONLY reason I even considered People’s was for the price point & the fact that I was desperate for a new set of earrings before the mall closed for the day lol. Or else I wouldn’t have even endured the whole experience.

    I would give 0 stars if that was an option. This place gets me everytime. Never again! I bought earings for my daughter online. Ordered to the store so I can pick them up. I wasn't feeling well so I sent my husband. Well they wouldn't release the earings. So I called and said I'm not well can you please release them to my husband. I was told I had to change the pick up person online. I said well, I'm on the phone now authorizing you to give to my husband who will give his ID. No we can't do that. You have to physically come in or change the pick up person online. I couldn't do anything online! It won't allow me to, which I told them. They said call customer service but we cant release the earings. I returned the earings. I have no idea how they are in business still. This is the 3rd time we have had problems with them. Last time we bought a life time service plan. Well they wouldn't Honor it after the 1yr because it's not in their system. Even though we had the paper work. We couldn't purchase a new plan because we had already purchased one. Tell me if that makes sense. NEVER GO TO PEOPLE'S terrible store!

    My husband took in my engagement ring to have it cleaned in April and because I cannot wear it at work it remained in the box until this week when I had a week off of work. When I went to put it on I noticed that the two diamonds representing past, present and future were missing?!? And when my husband went into the store to have it “fixed”, he was treated very rudely and they stated that they had no record of the cleaning…how convenient when there are missing diamonds…Luckily my husband has the receipt showing that the cleaning was done. I would suggest that anyone that goes to this location keeps their receipts, ask for a record and always inspect your jewelry!!

    I wanted to get something really special for my daughter's 18th birthday but was completely unsure of what that would be. I met Veronica at people's jewelry in Oshawa and she was amazing. She really new her stuff and help me pick out beautiful diamond hoop earrings. She was very knowledgeable and helped me stay within my budget not to mention what a cool person to be around. She took her time and really helped me understand the difference between products. I'm definitely going back to her when it comes time to pick out a graduation gift for my son. I would highly recommend Veronica to anyone looking for the right gift. Although I'm sure everyone at people's jewelry are great, Veronica is definitely the best. Thank you Veronica and people's jewelry. 5 starts all the way!

    I have been purchasing jewelry from this specific location for several years. The store manager (Maggie) has helped me several times and she's the main reason I continue to return to this location-- she takes her time and isn't pushy like other salespeople in other jewelry stores in the mall. Keep up the great work Oshawa Center team! Also, this location is one of the busiest I've visited across the GTA...have patience with their staff as most of their "issues" are items out of their control.
