This is an amazing Karate School, with plenty of different classes, days and times to choose from which suits all needs and levels of students . Renshi Todd and Sempei Sarah are fantastic, professional and helpful.Its a very friendly family orientated environment which has helped my daughters build in confidence whilst keeping fit and most importantly having fun.

We have recently rejoined this karate club and are so happy to be back. All the instructors are excellent. They set positive expectations for the participants. I frequently find myself saying "would you act this way in the dojo" and see an immediate change in behavior. The skills and life lessons they learn in class are easily applied outside of the dojo. We've seen a positive change in attitude, drive, and overall behavior. Due health issues within our family we are extremely cautious in regards to covid. We are impressed with the covid protocols in place within the facility and the instructors are respectful of individual decisions regarding masking. Overall we highly recommend Street Smart Karate. The prices are reasonable and what you get out of the classes makes it highly worth the investment.

Emma enjoys the programming at this dojo. She learns a variety of techniques (strikes/punches, kata, kali and sparing). Not only does she learn multiple skills to increase her safety, the warm up and skills are taught in a fun and dynamic manner that promote team work.

Great premises, all the padding, targets, etc, and amazing instructors. On top of Karate, my son is learning discipline and respect for self and others.

Our son has been attending for several years now and my wife and I will both attest to the positive ways this dojo and the community there have influenced his fitness, confidence, patience, and sense of responsibility. The instructors and the other students all foster a respectful environment where working hard to achieve your goals and having fun is encouraged with a positive attitude. I'll also compliment them on their resilience and flexibility through the pandemic, always being agile and offering lots of different options for online classes, outdoor classes, class signups online as lockdown and capacity restrictions have varied. They really do a great job to keep things engaging despite the challenges.

Great balance of instruction and exercise, the kids love it. The instructors are firm but fair, great experience for the kids.

My two kids are currently enrolled in classes with Street Smart Defensive Arts and its been great. My kids went in with no experience at all and have come so far in 1 year, already earning their next level belts. The instructors are very personable and very good at communicating with parents and are great to encourage the children and offer corrections where and when needed. These last few months have been trying and the instructors have stepped it up to make sure the kids don't miss out. Live classes via Facebook and rearranging the dojo so kids can do classes when it is deemed safe. Whether it is in person or on Facebook the kids look forward to their 2 classes a week.

Street Smart Defensive Arts is a great place to do karate. It is fun and challenging to learn new things and they teach you great life skills. I really enjoy going and go 4 or 5 nights a week because it's so fun. The instructors are helpful and walk you through things but still make it a challenge. I really like them a lot. I like to make them proud of me. I recommend it to kids who want to learn karate and have fun.

Street Smart Defensive Arts is an amazing place to learn karate and self-defense. My family has been involved with the program for almost 5 years. It presents a family-friendly, non-competitive, fun atmosphere for learning new skills. Students learn at their own pace and are encouraged to improve themselves not compete with one another. The staff/instructors are patient, friendly and wonderful with children. Every class offers new skills/drills and is always a positive experience!

My two daughters (ages 6 and 4) attend classes for the last year at Street Smart. Renshi Todd and the rest of the wonderful teachers have really taken my girls under their wing. I see the discipline, leadership and life skills they’ve learned over the course of the year. Highly recommended!

Have been taking my son for over a year. He loves the whole experience, the classes are very well taught and he has been able to make friends with quite a few other students. Renshi Todd loves teaching karate and it shows, all the instructors have fun with the kids while teaching them very valuable life skills.

My daughter loves it! I've struggled to find something that she really enjoys for a sport over the years and she really loves her classes here. Renshi Todd and Sempei Sarah are great teachers and the class times are very convenient for my work schedule. Also, I like how there is a separate seating area for parents to watch the classes over a TV. I can still be there to see how well she is doing without distracting her.

My daughters been going here almost in 3 months and she loves it!. They people who own/run it are really nice n professional! I would definitely recommend this place for any1. I find my kid has more structure n actually looks forward to karate nights. Now she's starting to show me lil things she's learned.
