Nothing short of fantastic in all aspects of a restaurant. I have eaten so much middle eastern food in my day (growing up in Toronto) and this is a real treat. This place is "pandemic" clean, staff and owner are super welcoming and great for chatting with, and the food is worth the drive from Toronto (taste and price cannot be beat). We ordered 3 meals for takeaway, chicken saj shawarma, mixed (chicken & beef) saj shawarma and falafel large saj, all amazing! Note: if you like really hot sauce, get the hot sauce, if you like more mild or no hot sauce then it's way too hot for you. If the weather wasn't so beautiful we would've eaten inside as the restaurant is both clean and comfortable during this pandemic. This environment is the kind I look for and can say without a doubt that anyone who loves good food and great staff will love this place! First time being here and it will not be the last, thank you again for the wonderful food and conversation.

It was my .first time going to Reetaj. I thought they had biryani but quickly learned it was Middle Eastern cuisine. The first thing I look for anywhere I go is cleanliness. It is very clean! Staff was very friendly and helpful and patient with me in choosing a rice dish. I got the Chicken Shawarma on rice with Tahini, garlic sauce, and lots of parsley. Absolutely delicious!! The rice was silky perfection. Hearty portions of rice and chicken for $10 cannot be beat. Definitely a returning customer.

A small place with authentic middle eastern flavors, highly recommended.. they have 3 tables for 4 each if you wanna dine in, around 6 parking spots outside right in front, food is made fresh.. overall a very good experience.

Great quality. Good service. Makes up for the lack of ambiance and I’d suggest you get takeaways instead of dine-in (well because of Covid and staff shortages all across the GTA) we ordered the family plate mixed chicken and beef (it’s four shawarmas cut up and also fries and some extra tidbits with drinks and condiments ) I’d say the chicken was outstanding and reminded me of my time spent in Israel. The beef was good too but the meat tends to get a little tough since it’s constantly cooking. Try them out, it’s worth it. Portion sizes are huge. We are a family of four and had enough to serve us dinner and the next days lunch.

Uncle & Nephew or Father & son local shawarma shop. Food is decent & reasonably priced. Their specialty is their Makroh flat bread they use for their Saj style shawarma’s. Came here with friends, tried the Kibbeh, shush kebab platter, and couple of shawarma’s. Left with our belly’s full & satisfied. Better than Osmows or Tahinis in my opinion plus you will be supporting a local business. The portions are larger in comparison too! The kibbeh was alright, I have had better. Shawarma & kebab was delicious.

One of the best place to eat in OSHAWA . Gentleman served me mix shawarma wrap . Chicken & beef was well done and the sauces were just awesome. Even i was not that much hungry yet i ate the full large shawarma. The other thing which gets 10/10 is cleanliness.

I got this today for $18.63 and this is supposed to be their "large". Portion seems normal (not generous compared to most), Taste is average, Meat is dry, and their prices are expensive. On top of that, the kid who served me got my order wrong as I've specifically asked for the "10.99" meal and charged me $18.63. In spite of this, I took the food and paid for it because I do not want to waste it. The only good thing I can say is that the place is decently clean compared to others. It's unfortunate that my experience today wasn't good but personally, I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Wow!! Three words to describe this place. Amazing, amazing , amazing!! Okay... That was really only one word but worth saying three times. For those shawarma lovers in the world this place nails it out of the park. The attention to details is over the top. With items like homemade garlic sauce and hot sauce to the homemade Pomegranate sauce; even the dip in the chicken drippings before going on the grill. Wow!!!This place is my new favorite spot for shawarma, sorry Shawarma Gates you just got bumped down one spot. Enjoy.... I know you will:)

Ordered Reetaj through Uber Eats. Worker on the phone was so generous and professional! The food excellent with generous portions! We found our go-to middle eastern spot!

This wrap was amazing ! The chicken was moist and juicy, every bite had the right amount of chicken in it, the wrap didn’t fall apart and all the sauces came together to make a delicious wrap. Wish the hot sauce was a bit spicier though 10/10

We found this place online through Facebook, the food and presentation caught our eye and the amazing value of their menu items! People were talking about it and reviews speak for themselves! They have a wrap special that will soon be ending! Give it a shot, you can’t go wrong! They hooked us in and we won’t go anywhere else for middle eastern foods!

The food is authentic, delicious and tasty. The rice portion in Chicken Shawarma plate is somewhat less proportionate., meaning the its less than what it should be in terms of servings. Other than that, the food, prices and services are fantastic.

Rude, ill-mannered, and arrogant staff.Worst customer service experience of my life. I went to get dinner,waited in the line for 10 mins to order and since I wasnt sure that what comes with Mix Kabab as a side so I asked this question to one of the staff ,and he was very rude didnt give me any answer and started taking order from person behind me in line. I told him that it's my turn and then another staff intervened and asked him to give me details and take my order. He rudely gave me that details and I ended up ordering Mix Kabab and Mix Shawarma with fries as a side. I waited for 30mins for the order to get ready and while the same guy was giving it to me, I asked him if the sides(fries) are inside the pack. He rudely said yes. It took me 20min to get home, and when I opened the pack there were no sides. I kept on calling the number they have on google map, but no one answered. I went back to the restaurant and told them that the pack is missing sides and now the food is cooled,and instead of being apologetic, the same guy told rudely told me that i have to wait another 10 mins if i need the sides and there is no problem eating cold food. I asked him either he makes me fresh food with sides or give my money back,and he started shouting and screaming at me as if they gave me the food for free. By chance, there was a police officer waiting for his order as well who intervened to cool off the situation and I got my money back. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who has any self-respect.

Found this place on a whim, and it’s the best shawarma I have had. The chicken salad and rice is my favourite. You get a lot for the price and the employees are always so nice!

Reetaj is a wonderful addition to the Oshawa community! The food is delicious, great value and mild is the perfect amount of spice for me. The staff are personable and hard-working. You can tell that they care about keeping the place clean and tidy. I recommend going here for lunch or dinner any day, especially to support local business as opposed to massive chains :)

One of the best shawarma restaurants ever I tried so many but this will be the best no matter what everything is 10/10 nice people working over they + they have the best tasty shawarma if you eat it once you will eat it always just from them one of the best I recommend everyone go give it a try

Place looks amazing from the outside especially at night. Inside is a different story... Food was what you'd expect from any other shawarma place. Price was good and not expensive for no reason. Servings were large and not skimpy on the sides. I'd return for sure, but won't go out of my way.
