Midami is my favourite sushi spot in Durham! I order from here fairly regularly, and have never been disappointed. The staff are awesome, food is always fresh and delicious, and they take the time to also make the presentation beautiful! The menu is pretty extensive, and while I have a few ultimate favourite items, I've been trying new things fairly often, and everything is really good. They also have a good amount of vegetarian options, which is great for my parents. Highly recommended!

One of the best Sushi places in Oshawa. Very clean, crisp and delicious. They are a bit pricey but very good quality ingredients. You get what you pay for in this situation. Walking distance from my place so I don’t have to use Uber Eats or Skip to eat from here. Win for me.

Midami is the best Sushi Take Out place in town. Our combination party tray came out perfectly prepared, and extra points for presentation. In addition, the amount of food and quality for food they give are absolutely worth the price. Will definitely be enjoying this place again, and I highly recommend that you try it out if you're a big sushi lover, or a first timer.

This 🍣 spot deserves nothing less than 5 stars. The added touch of having fresh flowers decorating your sushi is truly one I wouldn’t take for granted. Every person working greeted me with a smile upon entering and the sushi itself was large, filling and adequately priced. It also seems like they make their pickled ginger in house (also amazing). Excellent experience 👍☺️

The food was amaaaaaaaaazing.., the service was excellent and Washrooms were clean too. This place is an absolute gem if you are a sushi person. Visit the place and you won't regret it. Also the best thing is the flexibility to order from A LA Carte menu.

Hands down the best takeout sushi in Durham! 🙌 Their crab salad is a must along with their basic rolls! 💯 Their presentation is really nice too, and it includes beautiful flowers that can brighten up your mood when you open the package. 😊

This was my first time visiting Madami sushi. They greeted me with respect right away. Incredible team working at the back to ensure amazing foods come out super fresh. Black dragon was melting in my mouth. Spicy Salmon was amazing Miso soup was Uber fresh. wakame salad was delicious and came with a piece of avocado . Overall, I would strongly recommend this restaurant. *** there’s one unique thing that no other sushi place has—— Their Maki size per roll is almost double in size than other sushi places **** 😎😎😎😎

Food was average. Was there with my son. We were there at 1/4 past 8 and the waitress mentioned that you wouldn't have time to dine in and it was best to take out instead. I thought 45 mins would be more then sufficient to have a quick meal with my Son. Nonetheless we dined in, the food was decent but nothing out of the ordinary. We had the basics, sashimi, Alaska & cucumber role. The wasabi was the normal tube based and overall average. Place was a bit small and seemed cramped. I liked the fact they had poke bowls but didn't end up trying it. Probably next trip, will try the poke bowls.

This is the absolute best sushi my family and I have ever eaten! So fresh, huge rolls, at a very good price! I highly recommend this place if you are a sushi lover. The staff here are also extremely friendly and kind. Extremely happy I tried them out, 5 plus stars!

Oredered a party tray for a pick up. The order was ready in just 10 minutes. The personnel was very welcoming, and since I came with a kid - he got his lollipops as a gift. ))) The sushi were fresh, delicious and very large, so large that I got full twice quicker than in other sushi restaurants. And I love their personnal touch with fresh flowers. Kudos! I recommend it.

Amazing! This has to be the best place in Oshawa for Bento boxes that I’ve visited. I was very impressed with the presentation of the food including the flowers and the quality was outstanding. I ordered the Legend Dynamite roll (not pictured because I ate before remembering :P) and the Beef Teriyaki bento box for lunch. While a bit on the pricier side, I can definitely see why. The service was above and beyond and the food was exceptional.

The sushi from this restaurant is TOP QUALITY! Everything we ordered from the sushi to the bento box to the tempura was all very delicious and well made! Fresh ingredients and you can tell that they care about the food they serve. This now our go to sushi restaurant when we get that craving!

First Time here and greeted the minute I stepped in. Súper friendly and when leaving they all said thank you and see you next Time. Already was impressed by service!!! Ordered California and dynamite maki combo with soup and salad. Opened the container and a beautiful touch of alittle flower. So nice of them. Great touch! They had very good sushi. Their walk-in dining is open again. It's really a tasty place to go. If there was anything that wasn't perfect, it was the atmosphere, but I spent the whole time looking at the beautiful food on my plate so the atmosphere was not really a problem.

It looks rather unassuming from the outside, but it's truely on the inside that counts now, isn't it. You'll find that they have phenomenal food at pretty reasonable prices. The tuna sashimi, in particular, was extra delicious and practically melted in your mouth.

100% recommend. Beautiful presentation. Delicious food. Excellent service as well. They said they were busy when we came in due to all the takeout orders but the food arrived quickly - we didn't have to wait long at all! Will definitely come back!

The food was excellently done. Close to what you can get in Japan. Their Ebi tempura is a must and all their sushi are legit-ly done right. This resto is definitely my go to food when I crave for authentic japanese food. Cheers!

I could rack my brain for hours and not come up with a single negative thing to say about this hidden gem. The portions are generous and STUNNING, they come out beautifully arranged and are so fresh! The service is amazing, the atmosphere is lovely, and the menu variety ensures everyone will leave full and happy. We will absolutely be back, instantly a new favourite spot!!!

honestly so fresh and decently sized sushi rolls. each time i’ve ordered, the sushi is always so well plated as well!! probably one of the best sushi places i’ve tried so far within the area of Whitby. pricey but well worth it!! i recommend the fire mountain, angry salmon, black dragon, oshawa roll, and the legend dynamite! waiting for their dine in to open up!!

We went to dine in and we were amazed!! First off, real red roses at every table which I thought was pretty impressive but then the food came out— holy moly!! Portion was HUGE pieces of salmon and tuna are just shy of an inch thick! My husband and I were extremely impressed. We ordered the Large Tray— which was wayyyy too much for 2 people and the staff did warn us 😅 but we had loads to take home and they packed it up for us as well. Amazing food and staff were extremely friendly! Also ordered the Las Vegas roll which was DELICIOUS 🤤 Thanks again!!

This humble little spot does not fall short on taste or presentation. At a time when one is not able to fully experience the joys of eating at a restaurant, Midami Sushi aims to bring that joy to you. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted very warmly by everyone working. It felt so nice to be acknowledged by all the staff! I proceeded to feast on my lunch and noted the freshness of the salad, soup and delicious orange ginger sesame dressing provided. When I opened the main box, a beautiful meal was presented with lovely garnishes that were very much appreciated. The food tasted just as well as it looked and was devoured quickly. I’m sad that this place is so far away from home , but will make a point to stop here when I visit Oshawa again in the near future. The reviews don’t lie, you gotta eat here!

Wonderful dining experience thanks to our very friendly and thoughtful server! The sushi is great in quality and quantity! The flowers and presentation are a nice extra! Better than expect such great quality and service, will definitely be regular now that we have discovered this place! They will also help you with allergies and modification to make your life easier! We had sashimi appetizers, angry tune, salmon maki rolls, spicy miso soup... all delicious!

Such a wonderful hidden gem! The sushi rolls were huge, delicious, and beautifully plated, and the sashimi was fresh and cut quite thick. All the dishes we got (a number of rolls, agedashi tofu, & japchae) were delicious. The staff were also very kind, and extra nice to mom as we visited on mother's day. I would highly, highly recommend this restaurant!

5 starts ++++ I'm a regular here and always order the large combination tray. For new years eve I ordered the medium tray and the store made a mistake and prepared the large. They still honored the mistake which was appreciated. The quality is very fresh and the rolls are large. The best sushi in Oshaea hands down.
