In summer, in sunny weather, this fountain looks very beautiful. Makes great photos. It has also helped out more than once as a meeting place. This monument is one of a kind and it is difficult not to notice it.

The monument is good, it’s a fountain, but there’s a ribbon stretched around it, like in police action movies when cordoning off a crime scene. It spoils the whole impression. All the benches are occupied by marginalized individuals, and poor passengers have nowhere to hide. Of course, this is a train station and it’s difficult to deal with that, but there’s also a lot of garbage around. In general, it’s a pity for the monument.

As soon as you get out of the metro, you will certainly be greeted by the monument to St. George the Victorious which, by the way, is an active fountain in the summer. It is easy to arrange a meeting near him, because everyone knows this image and it is quite easy to explain where it is. I give it 4 points because it is a place of attraction for not the most pleasant personalities, meaning homeless people and beggars, as well as random visiting “travelers”. Although, the area around the monument is now clean and tidy, as it should be. Often, those who come to the capital to work or just pass through, form their impression of the capital only after seeing the station.

This is not a monument, but a fountain. This is exactly what it may seem like during a cold period. In cold weather and covered, it is useless to watch and enjoy. In addition, due to the location between two major railway stations in Moscow, and therefore greater traffic of people, you will not be able to admire the beauty of the fountain. But its main value, probably, lies in the personification of Moscow, since St. George the Victorious is depicted on the capital’s coat of arms and a person arriving from any train station will immediately remember this.

The sculpture is gorgeous and the station is also classy, although the ticket sellers who work there often like to sell tickets at a higher price and mishear the correct flight. But I give 5 stars, since the first SimNix Departure was from there (free box office)

In the evening, many representatives of interesting groups gather with requests: to give money, to smoke; armchair philosophers talking to you about life. A train station, actually. The infrastructure is quite conveniently located, on one side are Yaroslavsky and Leningradsky, on the opposite side is Kazansky station. Lots of coffee shops.
