👍 I believe that this is the biggest Walmart in Ottawa. It has a large selection of products and carries some brands that other Walmarts in Ottawa do not carry. This location has groceries. There is also a McDonald’s and Tim Hortons located inside. Customer service was excellent. People often mention store, Walmart, staff, service, location, price, people, time, product, order,

Nice location when plenty of parking. Good selection of groceries and really good prices of some items.

This Walmart should be shut down immediately. Empty shelves, very few, if any, floor staff, no sale items available by the second day of sale, and usually not more than one live cashier open. If this is indicative of how the largest retailer in the world operates, then we are in more trouble than we think. Hire more staff. Pay people a living wage and you will find employees.

Mediocre Superstore at its best It is time to leave my personal review of this store. We've been shopping here since its inauguration (more than a decade). I gave it from a 5-star to 2-star for its mediocre service! The ONLY reason I leave it a 3-star is because of its convenience (less than 10min from home) and assortment of products. Staff however is so-so, especially when dealing with self check-out. Nothing wrong with the self-kiosks except that sometimes the selections on screen for produce are buggy; it's the attitude of the staff (very stuck-up and unfriendly). Also why they don't open up other self check-out stations whenever there's large line-ups. This is happening too often. I once suggested they should open up these kiosk and the staff simply shrugged my suggestion. Terrible!!

Having worked myself in retail for my entire working life I understand retail staff can be tired, over worked or feel stress from customers around holiday. So I give poor behaviour some grace but today was outrageous. I was returning my buggy to the station and there was a staff member who was stacking carts, I asked if he wanted me to push the cart into his stack and he shouted at me “ no! I don’t want it!” I was completely shocked. i said sorry i was just trying to be helpful and left my cart in the coral. As i was backing my car out he stood and watched me leave with the biggest scowl on his face. Just wow! Clearly this individual has some issues. I tried to call the store to speak with a manager but the phone just rings and rings with no ability to connect with someone or leave a message.

The store has gone from bad to worse. Anytime I go to get something I find empty shelves. Restocking is a biggest issue in this store, lack of products and freshness in fresh food department. The employees gives you false information about certain products in the store and their availability,. The Walmart store in Centrum is way better, shelves are always re-stocked, never returned home with empty hands. I wish they sell fresh foods and other refrigerated products.

I am not a racist person, But I have been targeted because I am white with long hair, I guess the consider me a criminal. But I know why they target me cuz again I'm a white man this is reverse prejudism by the people who work there the staff are all non-white mostly Arab the Pakistani who really do hate the white Westerner One particular girl that is stood right beside me while I'm trying to scan out my groceries, I have seen her wink as some of her own friends as they leave the store with unscan items in their baskets. Another Arab woman loves to Target senior citizens leaving the store of course these are white senior citizens. It's not so much the manager but the manager's problem is he hires non-white people to work who hate white people. My advice to you shop somewhere else. Most of the employees are just disgraceful disgusting people who hate white people and I'm sorry to say this in our world today but reverse prejudice does exist.

The last few trips to Walmart I’ve come home with moldy produce (wasn’t visible until I emptied the baskets). This last trip I saw moldy bags of peppers, moldy packs of strawberries, raspberries and brown packages guacamole. Not many cashes were open and the cashier we did end up having didn’t even acknowledge our presence, looked absolutely miserable (probably overworked and over tired). If you’re going to charge people more for food and make them cash themselves out you better at least have fresh food ffs!

The location is really good. It is spacious, and clean. The produce is not always fresh and kind of in worse quality than other grocery stores. Saad and Laurie (CSMs) are just great, cheerful, friendly and helpful. Some of the other employees should get some customer service tips from them. It is nice that this location has a Tim Horton's in it.

The entire staff I encountered were smiling and very cheerful. They all took the time to discuss products and best values. Every single one of them knew exactly where to find what I was looking for. What a great experience

Usually a good experience. Loblaws is consistently 20 to 30 % more expensive on the exact same product so I usually shop here. This time though 😬😬😬 Pet food aisle... Walmart employee stocking up... Absolutely reeked of B.O. 😬😬😬 Smelled like he hadn't bathed in a month and just ran a 10k marathon. How can you not tell that you smell soooo bad

“Gee, lemmy push this shopping cart all the way to RBC. Hold on, why are food prices rising?” WM shopping carts are all other South Kanata, largest population found in the water pool in nearby area. If you want the shop to provide low prices then keep operation cost low by returning the cart. Otherwise we will see Chicago style departures preceded by increased food prices.

I usually do self checkout but recently decided to do counter check out. Although the Bangladeshi/Indian woman greeted me, she was throwing my stuff after scanning. An item had wrong price displayed at the shelf and when I told her, she said "I don't know. You have to ask someone" 😒. What is the use of doing a counter checkout if the employees can't help? Walmart needs to display correct prices on the shelf and get those damn price check machines to work. None of them were working on my recent visit. Open up all the self check out lanes when it's busy. Also better training for employees at the counter check outs.

Quite possibly the worst run Walmart location in Canada. I have ordered 3 items online to be picked up at this location and every time there is some problem. When I go in person to this location, staff are not knowledgeable or aware of the items they carry. This is the only store location I've ever seen that missed delivery on an item for store pickup. Parking is ample.

Went to the store twice in a week, both around 7pm and the produce section was mostly empty. I went to buy a few things advertised in their flyers but none of the vegetables/fish in my shopping list was available. It’s a problem for Walmart as I started questioning the item availability. If the availability cannot be maintained then maybe don’t put them on your weekly flyer.

Waited over an hour for an e-commerce delivery order. Unacceptable. Called more than once and every time told me they were coming out when they weren’t. Get organized it looks bad when you cannot stay on top of your orders.

Went twice to pick up one order. They said if I wasn't going to pick up the part of the order that was in they were going to send it back. 3 days later got the rest. Went there twice! Wasted gas. No more shopping at Wal-Mart for me

The worst Walmart store in terms of customer service. Completely different from the other locations in Ottawa. Management need to look into this. I'm giving 2 stars only because of the friendly pharmacy staff.

Never buy anything from their Photo Centre. I had to return a product due to a manufacturing error. It took me 2 visits, 7 phone calls, 2 chats, and in total over 5 hours to get a refund. My favourite comments: when I was at the Photo Centre, where I placed and picked up my order, with my faulty product and the receipt, the lady told me that she acknowledged the error, but could not provide a refund or in-store credit, because 'we actually outsource this service so while you order from us, it is not Walmart'. When I asked how to get a refund then, she was like, 'yeah more people have problems getting a refund...' A customer service agent at the same center kept telling me they don't sell that product at Walmart, even after I showed my invoice with the Walmart address on it and a picture of the product.

I had done an online order for the photocenter for an express product. The product was not ready on time by their delayed estimate which was unfortunate because I paid extra for the service, however, things happen. I went to the store after receiving the email stating my order was ready for pickup. Upon pickup, the order was not what I ordered. It was an important Christmas gift so I was pretty upset. The lady at the photo center was kind (not her fault either), and wrote a note for customer service explaining the situation. I forgot to catch their names but the two individuals working at customer service in the evening of Dec 30, 2022 really turned the experience around and I appreciate it. Thank you for your help. If I could rate the two experiences: - 0 star for online photo centre services (in person may be better for those making orders but I cannot comment on this as I haven't tried them yet) - 5 stars for the woman at the photo centre for trying to make it right (to fix an error that wasn't her fault) and 5 stars for the customer service team for making it right.

Unfriendly attitude of store managers towards customers. Sometimes they refuse to accept unsuitable goods, and especially often the price of the goods on the shelf and pallet does not correspond to the price at the checkout. Tried to buy cookies. The price turned out to be different. The manager prohibited the cashier from adjusting the price in accordance with the price on the price tag. The manager said that customers should check the prices of all items themselves rather than looking at the price tag. Cashiers treat customers much more kindly than managers.

Some shelves were depleted but I found most items I wanted. 4 cashiers were processing customers quickly so didn't take long to leave.

I specifically went to Walmart to pick up my prescription and was told it was not filled but that they could do it in 45 minutes and asked me to come back. So, when I came back after an hour and 10 minutes I assumed it would be ready, but they did not do it. The same pharmacy technician Marlie, who told me it would be ready in 45 minutes says "I will see if we can do it today", I said "well you told me it would be ready in 45 minutes" and she says "well someone left and that the pharmacist is giving flu shots, and if the phone rings I have to get it, so we might be able to get it for you in 5-10 minutes or we may not." I had already hung around the store for over an hour as I needed this prescription for the next morning as I was out of the pills and take this medication every day, which I also told her. I cannot miss a dose. She did not seem concerned, there was no sense or urgency, understanding that or even basic follow through of what she SAID she would do, when I first walked in that it would be ready in 45 minutes. I asked "ok, so when will it be ready now? Can you give me a time as I am now ready to leave" and She said "nope, I can't, maybe 5 minutes, maybe 15, who knows."

By far the worst Wal-Mart I've had to deal with. Seems every time I'm in this store it's something else. Low stock & selection compared to other stores, extremely slow, can't seem to find anything. I don't expect staff to be rocket scientists but this location is just not good...

Shelves are always disorganized or empty. Selection of women's clothes is not great. The garden center earlier summer was full of garbage. Staff never once said hello to me and I've been there many times. Seasonal section is alot stuff from last season. Anywho, love the wal mart at Terry Fox way better.
