Very small place and best street food in the area. I love the Noodle tiki burger here. It comes with fries. It closes late night so that a plus. But starts at 5 pm. It’s a small food truck so there is no dine as google says but there is parking in front where most park the car and eat. They take like 20 mins minimum for the food but it’s worth the wait. I wish they had some non-veg items as well.

Cost for 1 dish was around 18 CAD While the overall ambiance of the place is pleasant, I personally wouldn't recommend the noodles and fried rice based on my two visits. I visited Desi Hangout twice, hoping for a delightful experience with their noodles and fried rice. Unfortunately, both times, the flavors fell short of my expectations. During my vacation in April 2023, I tried the noodles through takeout, but they didn't impress. Hoping for a better outcome, I returned on December 13, 2023, this time opting for fried rice and manchurian. Unfortunately, my experience repeated, and I found both dishes lacking in taste.

Great place to have Indian snacks. Loved their chole kulche and spicy masala fries. They offer a large quantity of portions at reasonable prices.

The owners are a young couple from Punjab and bring the fabled hospitality and taste of Punjab to Ottawa. Everything we tried was a tribute to our taste buds. Highly recommended for the Indian breakfast and lunch items here. The menu is balanced mix of traditional options like paranthas, tawa pulao, chane puri as well as Indian variants of burgers and fast food. The prices include sides of achar, dahi. The portion size is ample and fulfilling. Price is absolutely on point and the food fantastic. Visited Ottawa with my parents and truly amazing!! Must visit for tasty and authentic Indian food.

Really nice place to sit and eat, very nice atmosphere, very nice and lovable owners (guru & priyanka), very kind and fun to talk to whenever I go to pick up the food, I love how they started off from a food truck and now they are serving us from the Centrepointe location! Love the burgers, fries, poutine, totally recommend 💯 I cannot believe that I didn’t post a review until now lol sorry guys but this place is definite go to. Great food. Great service. Customer service is great, welcoming. We ordered paneer Tikka wrap and paneer pasta. The wrap was really good with amazing sauce. Fries with the wrap combo were good. Tasted as if fried in fresh oil and were not oily. Paneer pasta was good. The paneer were well cooked . Only suggestion to make thick gravy as the pasta on top tasted blend. Great quantity for the price . Will recommend.

I ordered noodle burger, hangout wrap and hot dog. Food was really delicious and fresh. Good and many options for vegetarian’s in the menu! Got fries complementary with all the dishes mentioned above. Loved it! 😊😊😊

This place is a hidden gem. If you are looking for some nice and fresh Indian street food then this is for you. On top of this, it’s purely vegetarian. Tried Noodle tikki burger with fries and it was awsome. Hoping to try more items from menu next time. Good friendly customer service. Must recommend.

Really great street food! One of my Indian friends decided to take me since he said that this is as close as you get to Indian street food in Ottawa and I absolutely loved it. I got the hangout wrap, which was crispy and so flavourful on the inside. It’s quite worth it to get a combo as well, coming with a drink and their special fries. In particular, I really liked the Masala lime soda. It was an awesome combination of refreshing citrus and spices. Only comment is that the wait time for food is a little bit long, but I cannot recommend it enough!

Yummy desi food. My recommendations are Cheese Hot dog, Masala Fries, Masala Wrap, Aloo Tikki Burger and MUST TRY their Chole Kulcha (Ask them as this is not on their menu). Nice people!

If you are interested in a quick snack or meal stop on your way, this is the best food truck in town for the indian snack and food. Tried channa kulcha here, it was so tasty, nice presentation, fresh and mind blowing. Also would recommend double decker burgers and other snacks they offer. Other thing I like about them is that are open late night, so a good place for overnight hunger. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend them. Go ottawa, make quick stop on baseline road near navaho, and enjoy the quality food.

Had noodle burger and allo tikki chaat. Noodle burger was amazing in taste but but but Tikki chaat was kind of sour and ultra spicy. Atmosphere was good, well lighted.

The restaurant have best food in ottawa which i ever taste. I love the kindly nature of staff and the delicious food made by them. It was my first time here and i will prefer everybody to try at least once. I am pretty sure that you gonna love the food.

You must try Paneer Ghotala Kulcha! Overall, it was a delight to eat here. I almost got nostalgic of Delhi's Street food. The owner was amiable and well spoken. You should definitely try this place.

Very affordable price for a big bucket of pakoras with chai (tea); perfectly complimented my rainy afternoon. Yesterday was the first time I went to this place, and I gotta say it was so much better than I expected. Food was good, quality n quantity wise. I wouldn't say at reasonable prices, but the taste does compensate well. "Desi hangout" - they really meant it, as I, along with 2 of my friends got the food, parked the car with the parking right in front of the place, stood at the back of the car, ate and talked about our childhood nostalgia...how we used to do this back at home. It felt so much better eating like this, rather than ordering it online, having it delivered and eating it while watching a movie you've watched 5 times already. Totally recommend it.
