The. Best. Smoothies. In. The. City. I got two smoothies from here, and both of them were so very delicious. One of them even had amazing Brazilian chocolate in it. The prices are amazing for the product you get. The owners are also some of the kindest people in the city. Their assortment of Brazilian cookies and chocolates is amazing. I cannot wait for everything to re-open so that I can come here on a regular basis!

I’ve had açai in smoothies before but they were just addition to a smoothie. This was my first real experience having an açai bowl fresh with ingredients surrounding it as the main star. When I came inside the store I was met with a women who introduced the fruit to me and even gave me a sample so I can try and wow! I was so amazed!!! It had a gelato consistency but way way healthier! I knew I had to get the açai bowl to try! I love it! There are so many toppings to add and the açai is layered in between! She helped us pick the ingredients to match what we like and when we were unfamiliar with certain ones she would give us a small sample so we can pick the right ingredients to build a perfect açai bowl! I loved the service and friendliness vibe she gave introducing me to this açai bowl for the first time!! It was delicious ☺️! Thank you so much for the first experience!

I saw this walking by, we decided to come back later to try it. I got the medium Açai bowl. It was delicious! The staff were patient and super helpful.

It is very good! They are now in the third floor. It is a bit expensive, but a large one can fill two people. Once in a while wife and I get it and we love it. It has an usual taste, which makes it pleasant and delicious. Give it a try!

Akai bowl at Bayshore Mall in west-end Ottawa is an amazing place with some of the most delicious desserts you will ever eat. I had passed by it several times and I am glad that I finally tried it. The actual açai fruit pulp is delicious and has only a small amount of added sugar. The flavour is complex and wonderful; and the consistency is rich and creamy. We opted for bowls in which we added various fruits and nuts. It was a wonderful dessert and I will be back very soon. Also, the venue looks super modern and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place -- especially if you are curious to try something new and delicious!!! 6 stars if possible!!

This is my first Akai, and I like it! Very tasty and satisfying. The base of the bowl is AKAI (basically it's a gelato) that is prepared by layers in the cup: akai with two toppings, then akai and additional two toppings, and finally akai with the last two toppings. You can choose any toppings such as, fresh fruits, granola, chia seeds, m&m, chocolate chips, nuts and etc. So many different topics to choose from. If you are not sure about AKAI or have never tried it, you can have a sample and decide about it. For me, it looks like a new place that is located inside Bayshore Mall.

First time tried this healthy akai bowl with unlimited toppings at Bayshore. It was so yummy and healthy. Will definitely try again. Loved that unlimited toppings. The sitting arrangement there is also nice. The staff is also nice and disciplined.

A real taste of Brazil in Ottawa! This is one of my favorite food to have when I visit Brazil and now I won't be missing it as much as it's so close to me! Refreshing, energetic, flavourful. A party in my mouth!

I came here December 28. My niece was VERY excited to try this product. For the price I expected more toppings. The two staff members were on their lap tops and ignored us until I said “excuse me”. They were both so rude and cold. They were annoyed when my 12 year old niece had questions. Finally when I went to pay they asked how I would like to pay (cash or card) I said debit and she told me ok and followed with “there’s the tip option”. Like I was mandated to tip for such horrible service. The whole experience sucked. I was decent tasting but not worth it with that attitude. I looked through the reviews and I’m not the first one to have this experience.

Love this. It tastes nice but forgot to take pictures :( Little tip, if you put a lid on the acai bowl, don't open it in a moving vehicle like a car. (You definitely don't want to end up like me) overall it was GREAT! (If you take long they don't mind which is great)

*celiac friendly* Absolutely delicious! I make an effort to buy a smoothie bowl everytime I am at Bayshore. The mixture of flavours, textures and toppings is incredible. The owner is working I store, very friendly and kind. She makes an effort to meet you, say hi and talk about her products. Not only is the taste and smoothies delicious; the service is 10/10. I encourage you to order a smooth bowl!

Yesterday was my second time getting an Acai bowl. Delicious once again however, the server, very much unlike the first time, served me with an attitude. For that reason, I will think twice about going back. Although it can be a big splurge to get an Acai bowl, I don't mind as I try to support businesses as much as I can during the pandemic. That said, I feel they also need to act as though they want my business.

This place is the real deal. High quality acai bowls, fresh toppings with lots of options to your liking. Best Acai bowls I've ever had. Staff is friendly too, which is always a plus.

I absolutely LOVE this place. it’s so yummy and so good for your health too!! yes it is a bit expensive but that’s understandable because of the açai process. i always get the bowl with unlimited toppings. it’s so good. the inside of their store is so aesthetic and pretty. so clean too!! the staff is very nice, depending on who you get. one time i went when i was very low on money and asked for a mini and the old man made me a medium (i don’t think he spoke english he didn’t understand anything i was saying) but it was fine. i crave this place all the time now i fell in love with it. so so good. highly recommend!!

Was craving fruit and wanted something fancy and decided try this. Delicous and foe the vitamins!!! Doesn't sit heavy for the stomach. Staff very kind and offer sample to try before making final decisions on topping.

Good taste but obnoxiously priced. A 350ml small bowl is priced at 13$ with barely any toppings, a medium for 16$. It's a good treat, but sadly, the price would be a big discouraging factor. I liked this place for its service previously when the owners really were passionate and made all the difference, but that changed too for the worse on my recent visit. My new service was a young girl who seemed sassy and unfriendly, who just was rushing through and stacked my bowl with acai majorly without any proper layers of the toppings I requested. I won't mind going there again, but only if I see the owners being in the shop because I know they care, not everyone else quite as much.

Im a acai bowl LOVER - I actually went to hawaii just to try their acai bowls once (just to you know the extent of my acai bowl addiction) and Akai Bowl here in bayshore is my FAVOURITE bowl I have ever had. If I could give it ten stars I would. Not only are the bowls AMAZING but they price things reasonably with unlimited toppings!!! So happy that they opened this here in bayshore.

Amazing product, amazing service, delicious food. 5 star all the way. The place is beautiful, the food (once again) is amazing, the owner Ana Lucia is a beautiful person inside and out. Love, love, love. Big thumbs up.
