This clinic was super useful. I tried doing it through my GP and quickly realized why travel clinics existed bahaha. My nurse Tanja was SO informative and gave me a piece by piece of everything I need to know for my trip. I got my vaccines done right then and there. I made the appointment yesterday and had everything done by this morning! Amazing clinic, 10/10 recommend.

I had difficulty in meeting the stringent airline check-in requirements regarding the specific wordings of the PCR test result. Dr Lee and his team provided a great support in a timely manner to accommodate the airline’s needs. Dr Lee personally called me in the early morning to understand the situation and had his team to address the issue quickly. Highly recommending Dr Lee and his team for PCR test!

I was very happy with my first time experience here. Tanja was incredibly knowledgeable, explained everything to me, and made me feel very comfortable. I'm a nervous needle taker but the front desk staff, plus Tanja made the experience easy and stress free.

I highly recommend this clinic! From my first contact to the last, all I’ve received is fabulous courteous customer service. I called to book a pcr test for my baby and I was give the convenience to pick the date and time. I had to call back to rebook it and they didn’t make me feel bad. Upon arrival to the clinic I noticed that it was cleaned and I was taken care of right away. My baby and I were the. Whisked into one of their examinations rooms. My baby wasn’t helpful but the nurse was calm and never rushed us. She explained what she was going to do and what to explain. We got the Covid pcr result in about 10 min. I paid the feels and was given my detailed receipt with the test result form. I’m very impressed and highly recommend them!!

Great place. Tanja spent almost 90 minutes with my wife and I and answered all our questions without any feeling of rushing. She was also great when it came time to do the injections. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a travel consult.

I can't say enough good things about the professionals here. Tanja was absolutely amazing with my very nervous son, who peppered her with questions and tried to negotiate his way out of a needle. She handled it so perfectly, with so much compassion and skill, a true pro when it comes to dealing with tricky kids! She also gave excellent and thorough advice. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a travel consult.

Dr. Lee and the Clinic staff were outstanding. They went above and beyond to help me on my journey to the Olympic Games in Beijing where I am a mission team member. Having suffered from the Omicron in early January, I had to have multiple negative PCR tests to be able to travel to Games. I needed the results quickly. Dr. Lee and his staff went above and beyond, calling me personally with my results. I felt like I had a support team behind me on this journey and I can't commend them enough.

They called me back 15mins after leaving a voicemail. Moved around appointments in order to get me and my family seen that day. They did all of this because the first consult we did at a different Travel Clinic was terrible and we were now at risk of not being vaccinated before we leave. Our meeting with RN Tanja was astounding. She walked us through each vaccine, their side effects and which ones she recommended and which ones where not necessary. She also prepped us on things we should consider while traveling. This information was very well received knowing that she herself has been traveling with her family for decades. Dr. John O. Lee stayed late with the receptionist while our appointment was wrapping up with Tanja. Even though we ran over our time by 45mins and it was his Birthday that day everyone was exceptionally polite welcoming and kind. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured in anyway. 100% will be recommending and using this clinic for all of our travel needs in the future.

I would highly recommend them if you are planning on travelling. Their consultation was very informative and no upselling. They provided very sage advice for the region my daughter was travelling to and what to be weary of. They were very knowledgeable. A very dramatic difference to the consult we had with Shoppers Drug Mart days before where it became evident that they were not knowledgeable of area she was travelling to and what was needed. The list of vaccinations and prescriptions were excessive and our own doctor said they were questionable and recommended going to see Dr Lee and the nurses at the Ottawa West Travel Medicine Clinic. Thankful we did.

While I'm confident that all their medical staff is great, I had the good fortune to have been seen by Tanja Puchala, RN BSN CTH and she’s amazing! Clearly very experienced and knowledgeable, with an agreeable sense of humour, she took time to explain all exposure risks in great details, allowing me to make informed decisions on a prophylactic strategy in preparation for upcoming travel to a higher-risk region. No part of the appointment felt rushed and I was extensively and objectively briefed on precautionary measures, all available pre-/post- treatment options, as well as best practices to mitigate health risks.
