We enjoyed exploring the trails here on a beautiful winter day. The trails were well marked and the snow was decently packed down. Definitely had more to explore for another visit. We also are hoping to come back in the summer to canoe and fish!

A wonderful conservation area on the Ottawa River just above the Chats Falls and West of Fitzroy Harbour. Rocky, hilly hike with several islands connected by bridges and great views of the rivers, Chats Falls Dam, and river vistas. There are flush toilets available at the parking lot (seasonal) and porta potties in the rest of the year. A couple of picnic spots available and some protected kayak/canoeing. A great place to hike and explore. Parking ($6 in Jul.2021) contributes to maintenance of the area. Highly recommended!

Beautiful. The Voyager trail is a pleasant trail to walk, while the Chats Falls and Island Loop are much more challenging.

Nice place to take a hike and enjoy the water. The parking fee was 6$ and is kinda small so you might not find a spot on a busy day. All trails have signs and orientation mark so its easy to navigate. They even have a mark for the lookout and bench to enjoy the view. Overall worth the drive to have a nice calm walk

Beautiful place to walk and explore. Spent 2.5 hours hiking around. Got there just before noon and it was slightly busy but well spread out. Was getting way busier as we left. Totally worth the drive out. $6 for parking.

Beautiful views everywhere! The water was calm and the weather was perfect. We didn't understand the trails until we finished so we'll have to do it again properly. Even without a proper route we were following, it was still a wonderful place to see. Parking was 6 dollars for 4 hours.

On a sunny and crisp Nov Sunday, we walked all of the trails at Morris Island. Trails are well marked. Parking is $6.00 for 4 hours.

Great place to go for a hike. Nice trails that are easy to moderate. Nice views of the Ottawa River and lots of nature, like, geese, ducks, other birds, plus the occasional River Otter or turtle. Parking is now $6 but that does help maintain the facilities. There is a washroom near the parking lot and a couple of outhouses along the main causeway trial.

What a gorgeous place to spend some summer days with a family and friends. Great trails, that lead you to a river where you can take a break and enjoy a beautiful scenery. Dogs are allowed. I saw some people bringing their paddle boats. We tried to fish with no success. Park has picnic tables near parking lot, where we had a lively lunch with a beautiful view. I can’t wait to go back in fall to see it all in different colors.

Great place to go for a walk/hike - popular for dog owners. I do not recommend the rail-trail for cycling, it's very coarse loose stone, meant to be packed with snow and traversed by snowmobile...

Beautiful peaceful spot at any time of year. Trails are well maintained and have a variety of difficulty levels.
