My Dad used to wear a Rolex, and was always into watches. As I grew older, he gifted me a Favre Leuba when I turned 16. At that young age, I didn't really appreciate what it was, other than it told me the time, and was different from what everyone else was wearing. When it came time to get it serviced, he took me to this little shop on Merivale. Fast forward 40+ years - apparently this shop has been here since 1974 - it has a new owner who's been behind the counter for 10 of those. I've visited many times to get various things done to my timekeeping devices. The service is always excellent - it's fascinating watching him practice his craft, as he makes it look so easy, and what he charges for his service and products is more than fair. Of course, you can't put a price on supporting local business!

Knowledgeable and prompt service. I've had watch batteries replaced and bands resized. I had a ring resized as well. He shows you how to operate your watch too if you don't know all the ins and outs, which is super helpful. Each thing I had done was done for an unbeatable price. If you need anything related to jewelry done then come here. I've gone there at least 10 times now and have never been disappointed!

Incredibly rude service. I chose not to have my necklace repaired after their appraisal as the price was very high. When I went to pick up my necklace they placed it on the table and said here without any packaging or bag, when I asked for a tissue at least to wrap it in they handed me a napkin that looked dirty. There was no greeting or explanation just here and that’s it. Horrible service and very rude man. I would not recommend and I would never go back.
