One of the best specialty cupcakes you can get in Ottawa! Best to call ahead and order beforehand if you're planning to take a dozen or two. Much better than a single cake, instead get these yummies during a birthday. That way everyone can have their favorite flavours. A must try!

To say that i’m disgusted is an understatement. This could have made me so sick. I’ve heard so many good things about this place so I decided to try it out. I bought 2 cake pops today at around 2pm from this store. It was super beautiful inside and the employees were very nice. The first cake pop was absolutely fine but i was very upset to take a bite of the second one (the one in the photo) to find out it was absolutely covered in mold. Thank goodness I didn’t swallow any of it. Beware of the cake pops!

This is one of my favourite cafes in Barrhaven. It is nicely designed, clean and is in a convient location. The staff is very friendly and informative. They have all the traditional coffee and tea options plus more. Some of my favourite drinks are the jasmine green tea and the mocha made with oat milk- yes they have dairy free options. Another great thing about this cafe is they have a lot of baked goods such as scones and cupcake with quite a few gluten free options. My favourite baked good from there is the gluten-free chocolate coconut cupcake. In addition to the great coffee and baked goods they also have some really cute local trinkets such as coffee, cards, candy, etc. The only downfall is the prices are a little high, despite this I will continue to return.

Really liked the cupcakes, they had many types to choose from with different icing and cake bases. The gluten free / vegan cupcakes were pretty good and were surprisingly decent, would recommend. We picked up two dozen without the need to preorder.

** Updated 2024! Anabia now has more than just cupcakes! I love their savoury scones and their chicken club sandwiches. The bread is made and the chicken roasted on premises. More pics added since my original review back in 2018. Welcome to the neighbourhood Anabia! Just opened on Jun17 and already a favourite. Picked up six cupcakes for tonight and they were gone in no time. I am very picky about coconut ones and Anabia hits the mark. Glad to see some gluten-free options available (3 daily!) for friends later. Note that the shoppe opens as early as 7am but cupcakes are only available starting at 10am. Well lit and tastefully decorated sit-down area. Will definitely be back to try more treats ...

One of the best cupcakes I have had in ottawa regions. And the packaging was gorgeous. There are a plenty of flavours to choose from. The place is quite small for dining in for larger groups.. but there is outdoor seating as well... apart from cup cakes there are lots of fudge brownies , ice cream sandwich, coffee, etc. I would recommend to try espresso cup which is the best I had from the lot. The prices are also average. The staffs are extremely friendly and parking available outside the shop.

INSANELY expensive and overpriced . 4 cupcakes where the icing was OLD AND HARD 🧁 definitely not fresh . The custard tarts were ok . But 35$ for 4 cupcakes and 4 custard tarts ??? That’s EXCESSIVE !!! Not worth the hype . Not going back … very disappointed and not satisfied 🤢 they LOOK 👀 FRESH BUT ARENT …sadly

Cozy shop with delicious cupcakes. I've ordered their cupcakes for my son in the past and other occasions. Peanut free!!! It was a huge hit. Today I'm trying their drip coffee which is fantastic and smooth. A must try besides their cupcakes.

Wish I had taken pics but I was too excited to drink/eat! Super cozy cafe with friendly customer service. Love that there are many options for gluten-free baked goods and they are well marked. My friend and I shared an OMG bar, which was extra rich and bordering on too sweet. I thought the hot chocolate was nicely made, and my friend enjoyed her cortado. Most items are reasonably priced. Would love to return again next time I'm in the area!

Anabia is one of our go-to spots for goodies. Everything we've had has been tasty - cupcakes, cinnamon buns, scones, brownies - all have been excellent. The price tag matches the quality and the boutique atmosphere of this cupcake café. Not cheap, but worth it when we want to treat ourselves. Coffee and tea here are good too. They have a few tables and a comfy couch if you want to take a minute to enjoy your cuppa and treats in-house. They also have a small selection of vegan cupcakes, which are pretty good. A great option for those of us with allergies or restrictions.

We ordered a hot chocolate and macchiato. First of all it was not even warm! It was luke warm! Taste wise hot chocolate was totally tasteless and macchiato was below average. Other than that the ambiance was ok.

Love Anabia! Such a cute cafe. I’ve had their assorted cupcakes before and they’re quite good. Although they might be a little too sweet for me though (I can’t tolerate sugary things as much as I used to, so that may be just me). They’re scones are good and I love their Chai latte! I recommend stopping in for a drink and some sweets, the atmosphere is nice as well. Wish we had more places like this around Barrhaven.

I liked the choices of cupcakes they had and the price was very reasonable. We had the birthday cake and skor cupcakes and they were both very delicious. This will be my go-to cupcake spot! We also had coffee and the veggie breakfast sandwich - both were very good.

Are you drooling yet? 🤤 😂 Must visit! I went there last Sunday for the 1st time and wanted something different to celebrate someone's birthday. Everyone was impressed and took pictures of the box and cupcakes ..shocker! 😂 I absolutely loved the strawberry cheesecake flavor ❤️ and the cinnamon roll...to DIE for!🤤🤤😋 I would want this before I die lol Even the chocolate is simple, moist and not too sweet. I didn't get a chance to try all of them cuz it was meant to share. I will definitely return!
