Finally left this clinic in March 2021 after having been Dr. Jassam's patient for several years. The doctor is good but doesn't know how to manage a practice. Deborah is the worst example of a doctor's staff. I don't have a family doctor now but have a lot less stress. Would NOT recommend this clinic to anyone.

Least professional environment I've been in. The staff is very unwelcoming and create a hostile environment. They treated my grandparents as if they were lesser humans. Completely disrespecting them. Although the doctor is nice and understanding the staff surrounding him make these visits extremely dreadful. I hope that the doctor finds new staff or advises them to be nicer/more patient, especially with old people. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone. If you can please try to go to another clinic.

I only just found out that I haven’t had a family doctor since August, through a friend who has the same family doctor. I wasn’t notified or informed in any way that the doctor is leaving her practice. Terrible and rude service.

I have to agree with most of the reviews for this office. I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Jassam and he is a great doctor. He is friendly and has a great sense of humor. However, unfortunately, the office manager, Deborah, that has been employed at his office is costing him clients, as can be seen in the reviews below. My experience mirrors other peoples' reviews for this office. I, too, have decided to leave this office and the opportunity of having a family doctor because of the bad experience with Deborah. She is very hostile, aggressive, and dishonest. She would refuse to let me speak to Dr. Jassam and tried to discharge me from the clinic without my consent or Dr. Jassam's consent. It's unfortunate as I was relatively satisfied with the service from the doctors but have been driven away by Deborah. Hopefully, the huge number of negative reviews about her might bring the doctors' attention to this issue so that corrective action can be taken to prevent further distress to patients who are seeking help at this clinic. Good luck to anyone who still chooses to go the clinic and has the unfortunate luck of interacting with her!

Bar none some of the worst care provided by "health care professionals". The nurses were all so amazing and had no problem with them, everyone else were atrocious. We were de-rostered as patients with one of the doctors in the practice and were told the other doctors did not have the capacity to take on more clients, we are then told that our prescriptions that out well being depended on were only going to be renewed for 3 more months. There are no family doctors in the region taking new patients and we have been completely abandoned by "health care professionals" that swore an oath and have no care in the world. It took a full month to have a single email returned to us and were kept in the dark, filled with uncertainty and bewilderment as to what happened. No empathy and complete disregard for patients being human beings with needs.

My family has been with Dr Jassam and the Health Treasure Clinic and Pharmacy for over a decade, and I am grateful every day for Dr Jassam and his team. As an added bonus, he has studied ADHD and psychiatry extensively, which led to great care for two of us (one of us medicated, one of us not), and an unexpected adult diagnosis for one of us. Dr Jassam is open minded, positive, always takes the time to answer my questions. Deborah manages the office very effectively and is a no-nonsense person who gets straight to the point, which I appreciate. I have seen many people however be rude to her when they did not get the special treatment they were expecting (people showing up two hours after their scheduled appointment and expecting to be seen, for example). She and the rest of the staff have always been cordial and professional, even when I had last-minute requests for a sick child. They always managed to fit in a phone call with he doctor and/or a visit in person, if the Dr thought it was needed. If you are respectful and reasonable, you can expect the same in return.

Family doctor de-rostered all of her patients and the other doctor refused to take any of them on. It is my understanding that they have left hundreds of people without a doctor (myself included) and they did it with no warning. At first they insisted they were finding a replacement and not to worry and then they de-rostered everyone.

I have made a review in the past about taking my brother to this clinic and they took the review down. Reviews are meant for people to speak how they feel about their experience but apparently this clinic just uses it to remove their patients. Last time I was at the clinic, I took my little brother and the staff did not allow me to enter with him when he is only 15. I asked a few times to go in with him since he is uncomfortable to enter alone and they still denied me entry. Recently after my review, the clinic removed my little brother from their clinic along with my father who is over 60 and is need of a family doctor. This is the most disgusting behavior encountered by a doctors office. Now my father and little brother have to find a new family doctor after dealing with this office for 10 years. Even though they will struggle to find another doctor anytime, I am happy they don’t need to deal with this clinic anymore since they deal with people in a disgusting manner.

Dr. Jassam has been following our son since early childhood and has provided a very high standard of medical service to meet his needs. Not only has Dr. Jassam provided exemplary medical care, he has cloaked this care in a wonderful envelop of genuine concern and compassion. I rarely provide 5-star ratings, but Dr. Jassam is an outstanding clinician who meets 5-star standards.

I could not be more grateful for my care with Dr Jassam. I had been trying to get a handle on my mental health since puberty. Now 16 years later with his help it has been regulated. He is an active listener and is very involved in keeping to the goal. For that I'll be forever happy for my time seeing him. It was only on referral for under a year to get meds worked out but I think that is also a good view to see. I think anyone reading the reviews should look at them with where their priorities lay when it comes to medical care.

Absolutely one of the best Dr's around. Dr Jassam cares about his patients and does not sugar coat anything when letting you know what needs to be done. My family is very happy to have him as our doctor.

Doctor Jasam and staff is amazing. They are truly comprise of empathy and Faith. I respect their and kindness and care. Keep up the good work.

Honestly I don’t know where to even start. My father was a patient for many years now at the health treasure medical office. Up until a recent discovery we noticed that the doctor had sent out a letter in the mail saying that we will no longer be considering you as a patient, and that you have to find another family doctor with no reasoning behind the decision - keep in mind my father is of senior age, and finding a family doctor in this precedented times is extremely difficult. The service there is sub par, often times they just wanted to get you in an out, no sense of care. I understand that there are many patients and that the threshold is of capacity but what determines wether you are a permanent patient or not? like myself I have no family doctor and it’s been some time now;was once a patient at the heath treasure and i also got removed. For me it’s understandable but for a man like my father, it’s much needed. This healthcare system needs to be revamped because it’s unacceptable. There is no sense of understanding at all.

Dr. Jassam is a excellent and very professional Doctor ! Our family is very fortunate to have him. We recommend him 100%

We were patients of Dr Abderrahman for a few years until her sudden, unannounced departure. The clinic treated us very harshly and rejected providing any information at all, or even options or suggestions on how to transition or seek another doctor. They even showed some rudeness when queried politely about continuity of care or other concerns. It was as though we did not even exist in their records and the last few years did not matter or occur. I am not expecting miracles but they should have at least offered emergency phone consultations with the main doctor while assuring us they would take all efforts to bring another doctor. Signing up with this clinic can result in a sudden, harsh abandonment.
