I visited this hair salon for around 2 years, primarily seeing Keira for lightening treatments. She provided great service, which is the main reason I'm giving this salon a 2-star rating instead of 1. However, my recent experience has left me disappointed. During my last visit with a different hairstylist, I received a hairstyle I didn't request (a straight cut instead of layers), a full color treatment instead of just focusing on the ends, and the brassy color issue wasn't properly addressed. I spent over $200 on this unsatisfactory result. When I reached out to address the issue, the stylist's response was unprofessional, stating 'I just don't know what you want me to do about it.' This level of customer service is unacceptable. It's disheartening to have to spend more money to fix their mistakes by getting my hair re-trimmed and purchasing toner. Regrettably, I won't be returning to this salon, and I'll actively advise my friends and family to avoid this establishment.

It was my first time using this salon. I decided to treat myself and go to a higher end salon so I can get the experience of talking to a skilled professional who can give me good advice. I booked with a specific hairstylist online. When I went into the store I was greeted and asked to wait a bit because they unexpectedly had few new clients who took extra time. 15 mins later after washing my hair, the assistant escorted me to a chair of a different stylist than the one I booked with, with no explanation. This stylist’s responses were short, and she did not seem at all interested in making me feel comfortable or welcomed. I was hoping to get a nice educational experience for my hair but unfortunately I didn’t. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this salon

Very mediocre experience. Not a single staff member said hello to me, nor introduced themselves, not even the hair stylist. The hair stylist didn't listen to me multiple times, and when I asked if she can adjust it to be the way that I like, she said no, laughed, and then told me it would look bad. When I said that is the way I like my hair to be cut and have had it cut for the last 15 years, she still refused and told me to just try it out. I decided I could fix it myself at home instead of being in an argument with someone who wasn't going to listen to me anyway. Not going back. For the price, it isn't worth it and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Bad haircut, did not cut as shown in picture. Worse styling , not sure if your person doesn't think they need to try on men's hair or they just don't know how. The person said they had 20 yrs experience, results didn't show that. Just an overall horrible experience. Embarassing leaving your salon looking like that.

I went in a few months ago for a consultation and the aesthetician seemed very annoyed to be doing a consultation and was pretty unfriendly (assuming because the consultation was free). I still decided to go on for a facial because it seemed like a high end spa and I was in desperate need for a facial. I went in for a hydrolift facial and ended up getting the same aesthetician that did my consultation but she was much friendlier now, assuming because I was now coming on for a service that was being charged. I got a hydrolift facial that was supposed to be an hour. The entire facial ended up being 40 minutes long, with 25 minutes consisting of her just rubbing creams on my face and then letting the face mask sit for 15 minutes with me just losing there. The towels used were luke warm rather than hot, there was dim lighting in the room and my neck was barely targeted during the facial. The facialist didn’t explain what she was doing or why she was not doing anything for 15 minutes of the facial. I understand the mask had to sit for a while but at other spas when I pay for an hour facial, while the mask is sitting there’s usually a head or shoulder massage, this facial was not very relaxing. I basically paid 130$ to have 4 different types of lotions rubbed in my face for 25 minutes (I know this facial consisted of 4 steps but she could have timed it out in such a way that the facial lasted longer by prolonging each step). I was pretty disappointed given this is supposed to be a high end spa. This was my first facial here and probably my last given the experience, it’s too bad too since I recently moved to manotick and was looking for a new spa in the neighborhood.

Beautiful salon and my hair stylist was a absolute GEM! I don't get my hair cut often because I'm scared they will cut all my hair off and she has changed that. Will definitely be visiting again soon for my next hair cut.

I recently switched all of my esthetics services to Irene at Allure and could not be happier with the service received. Irene is very professional, courteous and the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend.

I visited Allure Spa for the first time a couple weeks ago. Beautiful and welcoming spot. I had a lash lift and tint and I have to say the results were less than desirable. There wasn’t much of a lift at all. I’ve had many others at different spas so it was easy for me to compare. I’ll definitely go back to try another service just not the last lift and tint.

Always an awesome experience being pampered at Allure. I have been going for past 5 years. The staff are exceptional ladies.

I went to Allure for the first time yesterday and I just love everything about this place! I had Elena for a balayage and cut. I went in with a red box dye, knowing that this was going to be difficult and I probably wouldn’t get the outcome I desired. Elena surpassed my expectations and more. I love my hair. My friends and family have said that this is the best hair colour and cut I’ve ever had. The atmosphere of Allure is quaint on the outside and aesthetically pleasing on the inside. You will want to just hang out here! Overall amazing experience, I will be going back every 3 months and NEVER touching a box dye again.

I don’t usually leave reviews but if could give this salon a minus 5 rating I would. My daughter went in for lowlights to break up her blonde hair, she showed a photo of what she wanted and was left with dark brown hair with a green tinge to it!!! When we complained that this was not what we wanted, they refused to refund our money and rather than offer to fix her hair they banned us from the salon. Great customer service Allure 👍
