😠 The doctors are generally nice. But it takes a really long time to see a doctor or get results back. The desk staff is almost always horrible. when you call they're often rude and they never pickup the phones, or you wait on hold forever and then they just hangup on you and dont call back. Also, it... People often mention doctor, appointment, doctors, time, call, patient,

The doctors here are so amazing, kind, knowledgeable, and professional, thank you to them. However to get to them you have to go through reception which is hit and miss. Some of the receptionists are also kind and professional and will do they're very best to help you. Some however are cold, rude, dismissive, and treat patients like a nuisance. It's like playing russian roulette every time you call. I can see from the other google reviews my negative experiences with reception are not unique to me.

Manotock Medical cares so little about you that it's a miracle they have enough customers to have busy phone lines. They almost are never available to answer phones between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm like they take a 4 hour lunch When they do manage to find the time to actually serve you, it's typically a doctor who knowingly uses surface level knowledge to diagnose you and if you're a young person, they basically tell you "your body will naturally heal" and send you home like a broken toy. I've spent months diagnosing the same issue as it gets worse and have been told multiple times that I'm fine against my own better judgment because it almost seems easier for them to gaslight you into believing youre ok than to actually diagnose you in the 5 minute appointments they offer If only it wasn't impossible to find a new doctor th s days...

I haven’t seen my actual doctor in over two years she’s never in office. Every time I call during open phone hours as listed on their website their phone lines are never open this happens consistently. I have had to use free health clinics in Ottawa for most of my medical appointments. I would switch doctors but it’s impossible to find a new doctor. It’s honestly just sad.

All of my interactions with the staff and Dr lbrahim have been excellent. Dr ibrahim is fast efficient and on time. In this age of doctor and healthcare worker shortages it is comforting to visit this clinic and be delt with like someone cares. Keep up the good work Manotick Medical.

I’ve been a patient here for many years. The staff are very friendly and well organized and I have never waited more than a few minutes for a scheduled appointment. Lucky to have found this clinic!!

I have been a patient at the Manotick Medical Centre since my physician, Dr. Barbara Yeats moved there a number of years ago. Dr. Yeats is an exceptional doctor, and always goes beyond the call of duty for her patients. I know how lucky I am to have her. I would also like to acknowledge the professional, friendly and welcoming team who work alongside the doctors in the office. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel the caring and attentive culture that everyone nurtures. Questions are answered, phone calls are returned, (thank you so much Kim for your call and your humour). You never feel like you are imposing or asking a silly question. Thank you for taking such care with all of us who are lucky enough to be patients at Manotick Medical Centre. Mary Ann Kehoe

I am a new patient with Dr. Sandu and have been incredibly excited to start with him to get my anxiety under control. Since the initial visit was short, he suggested a longer visit to have more time to chat. While I waited for my follow up, my anxiety increased and I developed a fear of leaving the house. I showed up 15min late to my follow up appointment (which was 30min) because of a panick attack about leaving the house. When I arrived I was denied my appointment. I asked to use the remainder of my appointment to discuss the increase in my anxiety and was denied. I left hysterical but with a new appointment date for next week. A clerk by the name of Gail called me today to ask if I would 'actually' be there for my appointment next week and shamed me for being a no show (again, late and denied my appointment). I explained the circumstance but she replied saying that Dr Sandu has set aside time for me that could be for someone else. This does not at all help facilitate my arrival to the clinic and is completely inappropriate

Whenever I call to book an appointment and I'm lucky enough to have Kimberly pick up, I immediately know I'm in good hands. It can be really intimidating giving personal information to someone over the phone especially if they come across as dry or inconsiderate. Thankfully Kimberly is so so so nice, empathetic, and always makes me laugh...truly a breath of fresh air!!

I am an older patient. Now that I am used to the idea of an inter-professional supportive team of doctors, I love it. I love the slightly different takes each doctor brings to the table. Every single doctor is really, really good at listening and manages to navigate my non-linear thinking easily. They are all very kind and respectful, with good senses of humour. They pick up on little things and have wonderful and immediate resolutions for problems. My long term ongoing issues are very well managed. They see the big picture and the whole person. The reception group is second to none. The PA's and nurses are wonderful. The facility is immaculate and beautiful. I am a lucky person in my own doctor, Dr. Ting-Malone. She is absolutely superb. Thank you.

The doctors are generally nice. But it takes a really long time to see a doctor or get results back. The desk staff is almost always horrible. when you call they're often rude and they never pickup the phones, or you wait on hold forever and then they just hangup on you and dont call back. Also, its been a bit better recently, but in the past they were always at least an hour behind schedule and would make you wait forever in the waiting room and never apologize. You can still expect them to be 30 minutes late. Then if youre 5 mins late for an appointment they charge you $50. They can be really difficult to work with. Often they don't answer their phones when they're supposed to. And I think Iv had twice that they contaminated my pee sample. With my old doctor it was rlly hard to get her to write me a prescription. I saw another doctor before that wasnt that nice. My current doctor is very nice though. PROS: the place is clean, some doctors are nice CONS: never on time, takes forever to get an appointment, desk staff not friendly at all, charge you for things they shouldn't. I wouldnt recommend this place.

This doctors office is most likely the best in the city! The doctors are amazing, and the front staff are excellent. I have been a patient for a number of years and have never been disappointed!
