This clinic is very difficult to get in touch with. I have tried calling and emailing. When I call and press '2' as directed, I get a message telling me my call cannot go through and then a 'goodbye' before being disconnected. This is an essential service and I am a registered patient so when I need to see my doctor urgently, or I need to reach someone to fill a prescription or to make an appointment, the call should be answered. This has been a consistent issue with this clinic since I started seeing my doctor here. My doctor is lovely but the administration of this place is horrible. There is a long auto-message that plays when you call mentioning that they won't tolerate rude or abusive language which I agree with but, perhaps the folks running this place should investigate why people are so upset when they finally reach a human. Do better RSS Medical Centre. You aren't running a small business, you are running a medical clinic and people rely on accessible medical care.

I have had great experiences with most of the doctors here. My primary family doctor is fantastic and one of the best doctors I’ve had. I can usually get an appointment within a decent amount of time. When you arrive for your appointment the wait isn’t too bad. I hate the booking system and reception. You can only make appointments through the phone which is always busy with at least a thirty minute wait. The admin have been getting better, before the staff were so rude and unpleasant to deal with. It’s 2020, they need to have better booking systems in place. I gave up on booking today after their phone line wasn’t working and made an appointment with my university’s clinic which picked up on the first ring and has been 100000x easier to deal with.

My partner's family doctor was at this clinic, and was unavailable when she went in after a car accident. Dr. Olga Goulets filled in, and she refused to do a standard post-concussion assessment, had no idea how motor vehicle accident treatment was handled, and refused to write a note. At one point Dr. Goulet actually asked my partner how long it would take her to recover from her concussion (a condition she had previously refused to assess and diagnose), and had the gall to get upset when my partner pointed out that she came here for a doctor's opinion. My partner literally had to google concussion clinics during the "examination" and ask for a referral to one. When Dr. Goulet finally agreed to write a note, the information was wrong and my partner had to have it corrected. A week later we get a letter stating that they will no longer see my partner as a patient. Bear this in mind: if you expect the medical personnel here to provide care to any standard whatsoever, and voice that expectation, you'll find yourself without a doctor. If you have any other option at all, avoid this clinic.

Dr. Wei is the best Doctor I have ever had. Her compassion and kindness always put me at ease. I cannot even begin to express how much I appreciate her listening to my concerns and taking me seriously. Her professional knowledge is outstanding and I am always confident my family will receive the best care from her. Since Dr. Wei has been at Riverside South I've always found the administrative team to be prompt, clear, and helpful. I cannot tell you the times I've talked to Mary and she has remembered little details about my family that have made me feel we have a whole team of professionals caring for us. Caralita (sorry if I spent it wrong!) has always also been very kind. Thank you Dr. Wei from the bottom of my heart and thank you Riverside South team!

I would give Dr. Wei 6 stars if I could. I have had health issues my whole life and I have never had a physician be so kind and supportive. She gets the job done, and she gets it done right! Dr. Wei is an absolute credit to the profession. Also, thank you to all the staff at this clinic. You folks don’t have an easy job but you are much appreciated :)

Dr. Boktor is the best. He is always very responsive and easy to get ahold of using the online portal. Does not rush you out and gives you the time you need to solve your problem. Would really recommend him.

If it weren’t for the fact that dr. Pearce herself is wonderful for my wife, we would avoid this place like the absolute plague. In the last few years medical staff have had it rough, I appreciate that, however every single member of staff who isn’t dr. Pearce has treated me with belligerence, disdain, ableism and condescension. They all sound like animals backed into a corner, they seem to be constantly on the offensive. Your staff is clearly at their wits end and No longer capable of offering safe caring and effective service to your patients. Absolutely disgusting.

Dr McLellan is the best Dr I have ever had. I have never had any problem with the support staff.they have all been excellent. Hats off to everyone who works at this clinic especially during our current times.

The nurses, office staff, and doctors are overall great! The line always seems to be very busy at certain hours, but I think that more speaks to how slammed the office must be. They seem to be trying their hardest given how busy I am sure they are! Thank you all for your hard work!!

Dr. York-Lyon is fantastic and the administrative staff are incredibly helpful. The ability to communicate through the online portal is extra helpful. After years of not having a family doctor, I am so so grateful to have a thoughtful, caring team committed to my health.

No one answers any phones there, called to try to see if they do walk ins after being on hold for 10 mins I went and got told they do not do walk ins. There is one secretary working there and the phones did not seem busy at all waste of time

I’ve been a patient since Covid started, which I am grateful for and part of the reason I’m writing this review now; as I understand Covid really made things challenging for doctors and patients. I’d like to recognize Dr. Boktar in his attention to detail, kindness and follow-ups. He gave me great information about my ADHD and how it effected my life more than I was aware of. Got me on the right prescription and followed up as he said he would within the period we had agreed upon. I’d like to say thank you Dr. Boktar, because of vast the improvement your knowledge and accurate diagnosis has made in life! The reason they get 1 star from me is because whenever I’ve had questions, refills or concerns about my medication. I’ve been unable to get ahold of a person. The online portal isn’t very clear, to me anyway, or easy to navigate to book appointments. When I did finally get through to a person they were dismissive and condescending as if I had disrupted their day and an inconvenience. I’m very discouraged as I try to be an understanding person and accept my roll in my current situation but when you’re off your medication for 2-3 weeks because of the ignorance or lack of care from administration and it feels impossible to get ahold of them, then it is discouraging. Example of this is they sent my refill to my old pharmacy 3 times and my pharmacist was the one that redirected to their pharmacy, even though RSSMC had sent me previous refill there prior. I have immediate family in the medical field and profession so I understand the hostility and unreasonable expectations that can be put on our healthcare professionals by patients but it doesn’t help them when their front line workers are pushing away the people that need their expertise and skills. Unfortunately I am currently looking elsewhere, which is disheartening because I was hoping to developed a strong patient-doctor relationship with Dr. Boktar, as I said earlier in this post, because of his professionalism and service. Good luck everyone else! I hope improvements are made for your care in the future.

My family and I had Dr Pearce as our family doctor for several years now, and she's been great! She is very attentive, responsive, knows her stuff, and simply gets things done as needed. Referrals are received promptly and specialist appointments are obtained within weeks. There were a few slight troubles in the past with booking appointments or getting things sorted over the phone, but in general we were very lucky with the family doctors in this clinic (our previous Dr was awesome too). I think the reception has improved too recently, as I had easier time getting though.
