Went in with a family member to grab a late night snack. And that was when the comedic circus began. First off, it took them 20+ minutes to get us our small cone and medium hot fudge Sundae (I should add that the fudge was not even remotely hot - I didn’t ask for another one because I had enough of this mess by then). They managed to get the order wrong 3 times. The poor lady in front of us, they got wrong over 7 times that I could count. While she was waiting with a young child. I don’t even think it was because they were short staffed - we counted 7 different employees all running around. It was shambolic, as was the restaurant - ice cream left melting on the floor where customers are to stand, the kitchen floor was immensely wet and messy, staff were not following the procedure for using the blizzard machines with a guard(despite said procedure being posted in writing above said machine). It was incredibly disgusting, frankly. I cannot in good faith recommend this Dairy Queen. It would have been faster, cheaper, and easier to go to the local convenience store, buy ingredients, drive home, and then make a sundae. The staff definitely need more training, and a good talking to. Despite this being my local DQ, I’d rather drive to one elsewhere. Eat here at your own risk, or at least come much earlier than you planned.

Fastest service is to enter and order Friendly staff with tasty treats. Nothing like DQ Ice Cream 😋 Make sure to turn off your car though in the drivethru. The waits are usually way too long for a fast food joint

New management just took over at this location. They were super friendly and helpful! We needed a custom printed birthday cake within a few days, while many other dqs in the area just said they couldn’t do it. This team went above and beyond to make this happen. Super appreciate it!

I was just at, this location no buddy answerd at. The drive thru,so I went inside and ordered. I ordered a banana split, with extra whipped cream. The split is,5,69 plus the tax. Not sure how,it came to nine dollars. That's what I call,a ripoff and it. Was not that good.

Made a late night trip to the city for Dairy Queen, this is the second time we’ve been to this location late at night because it is the closest to us that is open when we have DQ cravings. The same gentleman served us both times and was very friendly and joyful with his work. He was also very efficient and we will most definitely be coming back!

This Dairy Queen is much better than in previous years due to new ownership/management. You no longer have to wait 30 min for a blizzard and the counter is much cleaner!! Staff are friendlier too and aren't all teenagers lol

This review isn't about food that I ordered, but still about this location. I'd still give DQ food a 4 star, nothing more. I did an uber delivery where I drove from inner Stittsville all the way to this location, to pick up 2 deliveries, deliver one close by and one all the way back in Stittsville. Didn't realize the guy put a fountain drink Coke inside a fry bag with the lid not fully attached. I delivered the first guys fully intact, great. Head for a long drive to the other guys place. He's waiting out front, I carry my bag to him, say "how's it going?". Its about 1am so this guy was waiting for his DQ fix, and I opened my bag to find the entire delivery and the inside of my bag is drenched with coke. I'm not much of a people person, nor do I look looking like a fool infront of someone, so I really didn't like that my final delivery had to go down like that. I spent 15 minutes driving from Stitty to DQ just to pick up the orders, and another 30 minutes dropping them off, only to get paid $2.79 for the short delivery and then nothing for the long delivery since it had to be cancelled. NO ONE likes earning $2.79 in 45 minutes. So I'm cleaning out my bag rn, but I'm also thinking about the kid who was waiting a while for his 1am food and had to wait another hour most likely to get something new. Why would the guy put a fountain drink in a fry bag? Just put the fountain drink in the fountain drink holders that all fast food restaurants have. And if they ran out of those....Sheesh, you should always have drink containers, drinks are always a part of the combos. So anyways, wasn't happy with the turn out. I realize it was a simple mistake, but I feel kind of like it was avoidable. Maybe the guy should've said, "here's the drink on the side for the 2nd order, can you put it in your cupholder in your car so it doesn't spill?". Or maybe he can give it to me in the fry bag, but say "Oh btw, there's a fountain drink in hear, can you double check if the lid is on? Also, maybe carry it separately so you can see that it doesn't spill". Lastly, to re-iterate, if they infact had cup trays the entire time, he should've just put it in a cup tray, or he should know to do that atleast. Still just a small mess up, it just seems worse then that for me whenever I have a disappointed customer looking at me from his front porch, a bag soaked with coke, and order drenched in coke, and $2.79 to show for 45 minutes of my time. Still 4 star rating, maybe this review is here to tell you guys to order some cup holders if that's what you're missing.

Went through drive thru for lunch. Originally went back through line because fries were cold. But while we were waiting we noticed a hair in the burger aswell. They didn't really want to refund money, I had to ask a few times. They just wanted to remake a burger.

Today, I went with my family to Dairy Queen 2036 Bells Corner Ottawa on 26 June 2022 @ 6:20 PM Sunday for ice cream cones. I had very bad experiences with the whole staff, they hired small high school kids and they don’t know anything about the rules and regulations, and everyone lies to your face. I asked, if I would like to sit inside the restaurant with my family, and they said we are not allowed. I asked why they closed it. They have no answer, no notice for such things and one girl came to a few mins after and said we will open tomorrow? I said I’m here today, not tomorrow what is the reason you closed this area, she said the(Owner) gives us this instruction? Mr. Owner, we don’t have time to come every day. You should follow the provincial law, “with all restaurant restrictions lifted on March 14. Restaurants can open for in-person dining at 75 percent capacity” and you didn’t follow provincial law by the way???

I didn't know they were open late for 2 years. I think they need a better sign while their competitor down the street has lines of 20 minutes. No lineups in the drive-thru. The staff inside are genuinely nice people. That's another thing you can dine in until 1:00 in the morning

Hasn't changed from the feeling of a Dairy Queen of the 80's. Can't beat the ice cream cake! My boy still asks for it each year and he's all grown up. (I like it too!)
