Tasty burgers and shakes! We're not from the area but had to go just to try them. We loved our burgers, super well made. The buns were fresh and the meat was great too. Excellent. The shakes as well were super good. Loved the selection to choose from. Definitely will return

**Cash or Debit ONLY** Awesome burgers, shakes, service and pricing! All their patties are GF (gluten free) and they offer GF buns as well. I'm not sure why others said it's overpriced. Where can you get a fresh, tasty 8oz burger for under $10??? The portions are generous, the toppings are plenty, and the sauces are tasty. I really like that you can top your burger the way you like. Tried the banana/choc milkshake, along with the M&M milkshake and they were both thick and tasty. Will definitely come back, and I would recommend you drop by too!

We tried it first time for a lunch. The service was good, the food was fresh and good too. The only thing is the tables and chairs were very dirty, I tried to use the napkins, but it didn’t do much. When I asked one of the ladies that work there she kindly helped us out by cleaning it properly. That’s why I gave 3 stars for atmosphere.

Craving a chip truck style poutine, ordered from here, little over $14 for a large poutine... Size, i found quite small but at least it was good.. Made quickly, sauce wasnt too salty, good amount of cheese. Ate it at home so the fries soften up by the time i arrived home, of course... Wouldn't order it again on its own due to the price but i will buy it with their burgers. Ordered off their site, not uber or doordash pick up

Will not be returning. I LOVED burgers because shakes and honestly overlooked how over priced the burgers are because they used to be so good.l, but the last 2-3 times I’ve bought from there… not as filling as it used to be and the buns are just plain and dry. I don’t know if they changed the bun or what but my partner couldn’t even finish eating the burger because of the nasty taste. Told me we’re never buying from them again. It’s just not worth it anhmore.

An impressive burger 🍔 for my son and poutine for myself. Is a bit pricey

I started ordering from Burgers & Shakes as I was looking for alternatives to the typical fast food restaurants. I’ve been so impressed with the food and service. I went today to pick up an order for my family. I had specified on my online order that my food is to be cooked away from any bacon. when I arrived at the restaurant the owner provided me with my order and explained to me that everything at the restaurant is Halal and they don’t serve pork. He even explained how he prepares the food (he grinds his own meat) and that everything is homemade The burgers, fries, and shakes were delicious and I would def go back again, and I would highly recommend.

Tasty local burger and shake shop in the Barhaven neighborhood. The food is fresh and made to order fairly quickly, four burgers with sides and shakes was ready in under 15 minutes. There are many different shake flavours to select, we particularly enjoyed the pina colada. Burgers are thick patty and cooked juicy, I would prefer a touch more seasoning but overall really enjoyed it.

For over 3 years this has been our #1 restaurant choice everytime I'm traveling with family out of Ottawa via 416. It always makes the long drive exciting for the kids! For someone who's been to over 100 cities coast to coast, this is hands down one of the best charbroiled burgers in the eastern part of North America. If this was closer to where I live I'd be certainly ordering more often for myself as well as for our corporate events.

The food was very fresh and really delicious. We had the poutine, crispy chicken burger, and haddock fish burger, cookies and cream ice ream and mocha shake. The poutine was a classic and the crispy chicken was very crispy. I loved it. The fish was also really good. But the ice cream and shake was definitely the best part. Very rich and creamy ice cream. The mocha shake will blow your mind.

we just ordered for pickup 2 charbroiled burgers and a poutine. we had repeated to the person on the phone that we would like pickles in both burgers twice or three times. we got our food.. no pickles? they could’ve gave us a heads up if they didn’t have any but hadn’t. pretty annoying. other than that burgers were good.

Start positive…The 4 cheese sticks you get for $8 were very good. Homemade taste! Shakes has ice crystals in them. The chicken burger was so tough and over fried it was almost inedible. Two shakes, cheese sticks and a chicken burger for $40?? Yikes. We waited a loooong time with only one other customer in the restaurant. Staff was nice enough but in no hurry to produce food. The worst and the “we won’t be back” part was that the “dinning area” was so filthy I wouldn’t sit on a chair to wait, much less eat. Without exaggeration, tables, chairs and floor looked like they hadn’t been wiped or cleaned in a week. Old napkins on the flood, food spills and crumbs everywhere. I can only extrapolate this to what the unseen areas are like?!
