I work at Gloucester Centre and Ive actively been eating at A&W for a few weeks now. The service is so awful, the staff bullies each other(some deserve it if we’re being honest), I’ve never been treated with more disrespect at an eating establishment in my life. They need to fire everyone and just start over, I’ve worked in a few different fast food spots and it’s really not rocket science to do your job with a smile or respect your customers. If I could leave a more serious review it actually get in touch with whoever runs this franchise I would. These are the type of people you hope get mugged on their way home.

Not bad from a franchise. This was the first time for me because I had to make a quick stop in Ottawa area for a quick bite in the morning. Almost the same style of food from a family owned restaurant. I am impressed because I am not an A&W fan for fast foods. The $ price value vs quality were good or acceptable. It would be a 5 star if the sausage were a tad bigger. This experience has changed my mind.

Cant expect much from any of these mall "restaurants" but this was a major let down. Do not go to this one, there is better options out there. Wasted 17$ on a dry patty, rusted lettuce, undercooked bacon and old fries that were probably nestled cozily under a heat lamp for 2 hrs before being served.. the cashier was very kind and. The kitchen needs work. 530pm should be peak freshness for fast food chains in my opinion. Some dude named "kyle" also needs to work on his food handling, very very poor..

I had the spicy dill burger and I found the meat to be barely edible. The lady is so nice though but the burger was horrible!!

Shorted our order, left out an item after confirming to us it was there and charged us for it. Their posted phone number does not accept incoming calls. So how can you even complain or talk to a manager to sort things out. Definitely not going back.

30 bucks for two combos and forgot the fries, after I verbally checked the order with the couldn't be bothered worker. Ugh. I even left a 5 dollars tip in their cup. :(

The manager Kyle invite hes friend over , they keep chatting then while customer waited Really poor service he also is literally standing right there when customers are waiting to order and I also witness he giving out free food to friends .. He shouldn't be a manager.

Terrible customer service. I’ve been three times there and the old lady is very disrespectful. Complains about being busy all the time and has given me attitude every single time. It’s very depressing.

Slow service. The food takes too long to make. It’s called fast food for a reason. A buddy burger that I ordered should not take more than 60 seconds to make. The cashier doesn’t stand at the cash when I arrive, I sometimes have to knock on the door to get the cashiers attention to take my order. They also need to make the food faster or hire more people in the kitchen.

I LOVE going to this location!! They are so kind and they work so hard to ensure everything goes smoothly and you get exactly what you are hoping for. Admittedly, I am too shy to ask their names but the kitchen staff is phenomenal and the young lady running the counter really does care about making sure everything is perfect. Kudos to them, thanks for going above and beyond!

Gloucester's is the worst A&W branch I've tried in the city. The place is not warm enough during the winter season (when someone opens the door you directly feel the cold from outside there are no double doors like other blanches have). In addition, the place stinks, tables and floor. The food was not cooked well (the chicken was too oily) usually the quality of food is better in other branches. The staff are stingy and noisy one of them started moving chairs and table pretending that she was cleaning during our stay and told me to move my feet aside to clean around. Over all It was a very bad experience especially compared to other branches of A&W.
