Went from awesome food to bland no taste, lack spices, herbs, garlic. My spare ribs tasted like water not honey garlic?... Chicken fried rice so bland and dry/ hard grain (almost white, just little soya )

Just had an unpleasant experience with Hung Fat restaurant 2108 Montreal Rd. Placed an order with specific request for no peppers but the main dish was full of them despite it being written on the receipt itself. We called them and they didn't offer to make us another dish but sent someone to check to make sure at which point they reimbursed that specific dish. Later received a call from the restaurant and told to never order there again. Seems that we should not have eaten the 4 shrimps from the dish! In our defence, we were hungry for more than a small soup, an egg roll and rice. Their loss as life is too short to give Hung Fat more of our energy!

Haven’t eaten here in 30 years and now I remember why. Very basic lightly seasoned Singapore noodles. They should have a deep golden hue to them with the curry spices that were missing. Hot and Sour soup was ok but wasn’t feeling the love with the S&S chicken balls or the egg/spring rolls.

First time ordering and won't be the last! Love their General Tao Tofu! Huge portions. Very very generous! Fast and friendly service. Both me and my spouse were satisfied with our food.

Pretty good North Americanized Chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken balls are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Good amount of lean breast meat inside. General Tao Chicken not tangy nor spicy, but still good, but more just like battered chicken in sauce. Beef and broccoli is standard. Chicken fried rice has tiny pieces of chicken breast meat in it. Egg rolls are standard, but more vegetables than ground pork. Service polite and very quick. Lunch Specials for $9.95, not bad for these days. Combination Plates $14.95 give you more variety.

I've been ordering from Hung Fatt for years and it's always great. The food is awesome and the staff are always friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Combo plates tonight were 10 on 10 quality. All food was super fresh with big chunks of chicken in my chow mein and egg rolls were golden with plumper filling than usual chunkier too the way we like it and not overfried or greasy - we were so impressed!!!! Delivery was pretty good too only 30!mins on a Saturday night given. And driver came to the right door as requested. Really enjoyed my bd dinner!

I ordered the combo dishes here. The food portion is good but the taste is okay. I was a bit disappointed with their general tso dish but the rest are fine.

I had heard good reviews, the servings were good size but the food was not good. We won't be back.

It's been years I get my food from Hung Fatt. They're good and service are awesome.

Open end egg rolls are very good, garlic spareribs also, but the chicken fried rice and especially the general Tao chicken was really bad it tested freezer burnt we could not eat it!
