First, let's get this out of the way, food 10/10. Those fries were delicious and the burger was worth the drive from Barrhaven. As for the cake, it speaks for itself. Till next time.

We discovered Sahara on a whim after being in the area and it did NOT disappoint! We ordered the fully loaded fries, steak and cheese wrap, and the steak suqaar platter. Everything was insanely good & they also offered imported sodas (very coooool). We tried the Dr. Pepper Vanilla Float (so good) and Pineapple Fanta (also very good). Highly recommend ordering from here!

Really good food and friendly service. I had the steak suqaar which was flavourful and tender. Rice and salad was solid. I added samboosa on the side and wasn’t disappointed- also very flavourful and great texture. The portion sizes are a good value. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We have been trying to check this new halal spot for a while.. but living in the west kept delaying it! I’ll start with the food, it was fresh , tasty y, the steak plate was very flavourful, the chicken was too but a bit burnt.. the rice came warm, I’d rather a hot plate! The samosa were 10/10 very fresh and yummy! We had a mango lemonade and a vimto mojito they were refreshing! The dessert didn’t live up to my expectations lol.. I love lotus but this was on the soggy side.. but my kids loved it.. my main disappointment was the cleanliness, the tables, the washroom the whole place really needs more cleaning.. I’d wish they take this note and next time we visit it’s more pleasant

One of the best halal options available in Ottawa. Loved their platter with Lamb and Steak and their smash burgers were just amazing. Service was bit off but the food quality made us forget those little hiccups. Definitely going again :)

we heard about new item so choose to try them out - chop chesse sub : flavours on point juicy fresh chopped meat patty has really good flavours not bland at all 👍🏻 ( u can ask for more chessy goodness on top coz why not 😜) - lamb burger: this one surprise me cucumber tazaki was soo fresh taking burger to the next level *highly recomend - loaded chopped chesse fries : crispy fries ,meaty ,carmelize onion melted chesee chipotle sauce i mean what not .. definetly giving me in&out animal fries vibes (definetly going back for this kind of junk) 😅 hot honey burger : this was good in size crispy saucy but i find it lil sweet than hot ( i recomend them to make sauce more on spicy side with hint of sweetness ) sambusa / milk cake : its not fair if u dont get their sambusa n lotus milk cake they were big meaty the sauce has real spice . lotus milk cake was perfect ending for this service: excellent fast service , they were nice n kind enough to make those loaded fries as combo with burger making it half the price. everything was super fresh n hot. patio vibes are just giving us picnic feel .. highly recomend this family owned place.

Got the large chicken suqaar platter, which was really good but the portion was a bit small. The salad seemed like it was missing stuff (dressing etc), there was only shredded lettuce and some tomatoes. The supreme burger and the mac burger, as well as the mac fries were also very delicious. Food is halal :) Entrance and parking is around the back. Definitely worth trying!

I orderee chicken Kebab for 16.99 but I got charged for the Lamb for 17.99. I went and ask if this is the right reciept and the guy said yes and he said something but I dont quite understand. I am confused. I am not mad or anything but at least give me the right price. I even gave them tip (not big) and total to 22 something. It is my first time ordering too. I dont think I will try to come back here. But who knows. I am disappointed. Update: no, he did not try to explain it to me. If he explaines it to me I wouldn't be writing this review. But thank you for explaining it.

Tried this place out based on a recommendation and I can say it was some of the best food I've had. The wraps are amazing and the Lamb is very tender and tasty, not to mention how good that rice is. Love the friendly faces and the great service. Hats off to the chef!

Ordered samosas for work event at a different restaurant but missed the location and spotted Sahara almost at closing time. Explained the situation to the manager who not only stayed a bit late and made the greatest samosas ever but he also matched the price of the initial order. Thank you so much for making my day. John
