The quality of the ingredients is top level and the craftsmanship equally high. Everything was delicious but the rye chocolate chip cookie was the most pleasant surprise. It the first time I’ve ever had rye in a cookie and didn’t know what to expect but it was clearly identifiable. Definitely want more! This place specializes in sourdough bread and pizza. Need to try those now!

Everything looked amazing so it was very hard to choose. What I landed on was some sort of pizza/focaccia slice with cheese, veggies, and pesto, a brownie, and a pecan sticky bun. All three of them were incredibly tasty.

I bought the focaccia on my first visit. It was delicious! I also bought brownies I will try later. They have a very rich chocolate smell. I am eager to go back.

High quality, fresh flour results in delectable cookies! 🥜🍪 The cookies were not too sweet and had a great base flavor due to the freshly milled flour. The peanut butter cookie was heavenly and had great texture! The ginger cookie was great as well!

Tried their goodies at the farmer's market for the first time! The rye brownie was nothing like I've had before... chocolatey, moist, salty, and rich. The PERFECT texture!! The walnut chocolate cookie was just as delicious! The morning bun wasn't too sweet, but had nice spice and flavour!

In the fall the pumpkin scone is definitely a must. Every day must is the pecan chocolate chip cookie, with salt on top. Mouth watering!

Tried Alamanac Bakery items at the Navan Market and their Rasberry Bran Muffins, Carrot Muffins and Sourdough Bread are delicious. Their Bakery goods were so fresh and tasty that we had to visit their Bakery to buy some more treats and purchase some of their organic and vast variety of flours. The staff are amazing and very informative, what a little gem on the east side of Ottawa, a must regular visit place.

Delicious baked goods all made with gut-friendly wild sourdough (all pastries also sourdough raised without the use of baking powders/agents, so cool!!)and freshly ground on-site in their own stone ground mill!! heritage grains gives the products this beautiful flavour and texture. They did amazing sourdough pizzas last year as well. We Have tried the breads, scones, dinner biscuits, dinner rolls, cookies and pecan tarts. All were very good flavour and amazing mouth feel and textures. Very impressed. I wish they had a bakery closer to Ottawa Center, but was able to find a few satellite locations and at farmers markets in the summertime is a bonus

Such incredibly delicious sourdough baking. I always enjoy a lemongrass tea along with whatever I’m purchasing. They have simple tea/herbal teas and coffee. Whole, non-homogenized milk is available for the drinks and is available for purchase from the fridge. They’re closely associated with the Dominion Brewery at the end of the parking lot whose outdoor patio to is available to Almanac customers in the morning before the brewery opens. I love their standard sourdough bread made with heirloom whole grains. It’s a dark colour with fantastic flavour.

Picked up our flour order yesterday at their store front and I bought the focaccia with tomato sauce, soft mozzarella, pesto and fresh basil for my son and I. It was absolutely delicious! Well done! My son ranked it a 10/10!
