👍👍 Super awesome run. This is easily an intermediate sledding hill due to the grade, turn, and bumps. Using a GT Racer or tire tube recommended but all sleds welcome. Small children should be accompanied by adults. Adults will have fun doubling up. :) There is a bit of slope above the crest of the hil...

It's a great hill for winter sledding as it's steep enough to get good distance. However if you take younger children there make sure they can steer the sled as if they don't know how they could potentially fly over the edge into a parking lot full of cars and know one wants that.

Super awesome run. This is easily an intermediate sledding hill due to the grade, turn, and bumps. Using a GT Racer or tire tube recommended but all sleds welcome. Small children should be accompanied by adults. Adults will have fun doubling up. :) There is a bit of slope above the crest of the hill where you can (try to) enjoy the turn onto the main run, if skilled. On a slow snowy day you will still feel the thrill of the ride even if you don't make it that far. On a normal or fast, packed snow run day, expect to travel much farther. This is a hidden gem, parking nearby if you are vigilant and don't block the local residents.

This is ideal sledding ground for families. The ride is longer, about 25 seconds top to bottom, and is exciting due to the 150 degree arc and the varied slope, yet it isn’t so steep or so long that it might scare a five year old. The walk back up is harder for a younger kid but doable, and it can be good to tire them a bit. Reward can be hot chocolate! Warning, this park can be crowded on weekends. We parked at the school on a public holiday weekday and no one was there.

We mainly toboggan here with our two young sons, 6 and 3. It’s fantastic for a few reasons, but mainly because the shape of the slope means that there are suitable hills for a toddler all the way up to something fast for a teenager or adult, while being large enough that you never have to worry about being mowed down from behind. There is some night lighting but this is best enjoyed during the day and you can stop in the nearby mall for a hot chocolate at the little cafe for your “apres-sled.”

Perfect place to ski, sled, hike, walk, and so much more with your family of 1 to more than 10 people! Whole school classes (including some homeschooling and many different school boards) can be found daily from 8am or even beforehand until it's dark outside Monday- Sundays. One of my own classes goes monthly on our Wild Wooden Outdoor Math classes! Do you go into the forest or next to it with your family at work or home daily, weekly or regularly?
