Update: A year onward and the newer members of the reception team are now just blatantly rude. They fail to provide you basic information yet expect you to already know it as well. It's like they have been trained to try to make you hang (and maybe they have). It's funny because the office that has big signs up about how they "do not tolerate rudeness towards their staff" . It clearly does not work both days they can be as dismissive and rude towards you as they want. Original: The various Doctors whom I have meet and seen in this office over the years are friendly and attentive physicians. Unfortunately the receptionists run the office, not the Doctors, and their utter mismanagement have lead to a consistent decline in service over the same period. They are, at best, callus and unaccommodating, at worst, rude and hang up on you. One of them will occasionally try to provide medical advice of her own despite having no medical training. Their motto is "you should go to an emergency clinic".

Quite possibly the worst medical clinic. My mother had early signs of dementia and I reach out to her Dr, Dr. Ryan who advised he would set up tests etc. yet nothing transpired. I tried following up multiple times and left messages for him each time and not one call back. Tried calling again today cause my mother is getting worse and was very callously told Dr. Ryan is retiring and completely booked. Clearly this center and their doctors don't care about the well being of their clients. And to Dr Ryan retiring, I say good riddance!

What an absolutely ridiculously disorganized practice. New rule. If you’re 2 minutes late they reschedule your appointment (that you wait minimum 3 months for ). But the doctors are never less than 20 min late. The receptionist that were nice see all gone, now patients are left with the crusty staff. Dr Ribchinsky just up and leaves without telling her practice. Need medication urgently? Won’t do it without seeing you. Won’t give you same day appointment. Next avail appointment 3 months away. Live without those important meds!!! Lawsuit bound to come their way. Worst office. Do not go here. I’ll be looking for a new doctor.

I can never get an appointment and now I'm told there are no appointments for the entire summer because Dr. Campbell has taken a one year position elsewhere. I know our healthcare system is strained but the receptionists could be friendlier. If they expect patients to be pleasant, I expect the same.

Just an awful place. They have a very strict policy if you are late you get rescheduled. I get it, it makes sense. HOWEVER the doctor can be late and there's no mention. I brought my sick son in for an appointment and was 10 minutes late due to factors out of my control and was told by reception that it should be fine to be seen. Doctor told us to reschedule. We had to Uber to the appointment so that was a waste of 28$.. the next day got a new appointment and the doctor was 15 minutes late to see us. Why if their scheduling is so strict are they still late?! They can't blame patients! The doctors bed side manners are also terrible.

I retracted my previous bad review from last year as I feel this clinic has improved a lot, starting with the front desk staff to getting an appointment to see a doctor. The only disappointing aspect is that my husband still cannot get a replacement for a family doctor after being a patient with this clinic for over 30 years.

I’ve only had really great experiences with this clinic. I always see the same NP, who is leaving at the end of October, she is such a light and I miss her so much already. I really wish the clinic had a reminder system, auto texts with reminders would be great. Reception is hit and miss with helpfulness and kindness.

I would like to preface that I have never written a bad review for an establishment, but it goes without saying that Chapel Hill Health Centre is the worst clinic that I have been a patient of. It has taken me three years to recieve a referral to a specialist from this office because of poor communication and illiteracy on behalf of the nurses and staff. Their front desk receptionists are not only incompetent at their job, but incredibly rude and short tempered (I have never had someone hang up the phone on me). Unlike other medical offices, they do not send out reminders for scheduled appointments that have been made several months in advance (they only book appointments 3 months in advance). This is likely because they make a $60 profit off every missed appointment. I highly recommend staff cuts and a mandatory course on ethics and customer service for this office. Their behaviour over the past three years has been unacceptable and a form of medical malpractice to say the least. No one should have to follow up on the progress of their own case and question whether their file is being sent to the right office. That is the health practitioner’s job. I’m extremely disappointed considering that I have been a long term patient of this clinic.

I don't write reviews ever for businesses let alone a health clinic. I have had to limit my interactions with this place down to only when I absolutely have to. The front desk employees especially have little to zero compassion as people working in the health care industry. Just asking simple questions about things you are confused about as a patient or for updates on your health care are met with cold, short and rude responses. It is so hard to find primary care practioners that I'm desperate enough to keep this clinic. That said, we shouldn't be instantly met with thinly veiled hostility and rudeness. We shouldn't feel or be talked to like we are stupid. I hope that someone actually reads the reviews left here and takes it to heart that they deal with people who just want to receive care without feeling like its inconvenient. PLEASE treat people with kindness more often than not (or don't have a job that should require it) That's how little of a bar there is.

When Dr Ryan was there he was great the new doctor is horrible, she was very ruff with my child this morning to the point I wanted to scream at her. My 1 year old never acted up with doctor Ryan he was wonderfully. My daughter still had marks on her leg from the doctors hand 1 hour after the appointment. She needs to go back to medical school or find something else as a job. Never will I go back there again.
