With all the good reviews, I went there in the hope that acupuncture can help relieve my low back pain. For the first appointment, the first thing he asked was “Do you have insurance coverage?”and not “what is the reason for the treatment?”. Bob was careful in the initial treatment and he checked if the needles he put in my back caused any pain. But in the second treatment, he was no longer careful. He put a needle in my right waist very quickly and I felt the pain immediately. He said the pain would be gone soon. But my right waist still painful and I could not stand straight any more. I think his needle touched my nerve. I cancelled my third appointment and I am scared to do acupuncture there. This is my experience.

I had my first appointment yesterday with Bob and he reduced the pain in my hand, back and hip. Will definitely be back for ongoing acupuncture treatments. Also had Chinese Foot Massage with Vera - RMT. Her 1 hour session was amazing! I highly recommend Bob and Vera for pain management and ongoing vitality.

I was able to get a last minute appointment when walking in at 13:52 on a Friday, great! 5/5 The appointment had a little bit of soft-tissue prep, but I wished for my forearms and hands to be primarily worked on - the therapist focused at the end, only on my right scapula and intercostals with the acupuncture. Although it felt slightly better, my main issue still persisted, so I was unsatisfied with that. 4/5 The treatment itself was not bad, but very rushed and not really specific to what I was really looking for. The treatment started around 13:55 and it finished around 14:25, 14:30 at best. So I ended up paying $100 for a 20-minute, 25-minute at best, treatment, instead of the whole 50-minutes in a 60-minute time-frame. 2/5 Debit and cash only, no credit available.

Love love love Dr.Bob and Ping! They are amazing. Dr.Bob is a skilled medical practioner who was able to help both my husband and I with frozen shoulders. Always feel good after a visit with them! they introduced me to some ginger candy , its soo good! Will refer them and their candy!

Two year ago I had singles on my head people don’t really know how painful when you have singles Bob gave me a life saver treatment,few weeks ago my wife had a twist on her hip and once again Bob fix the problem just three to four times,if you don’t find the good acupuncturist you not just not fix your problem and you delay the problem and sooner you fix the easy the problem be solved,my own experience as I said two years ago I got two bad acupuncturist one on close to Baywater and one on Summerset, so when someone referred me to Bob I had no confidence too,those two bad acupuncturist just want to get money from you,from my experience Bob do the best he could to help you recover the best he could,if he can’t help you this mean you don’t have a lucky to have him to help your problem.The Best wishes to him and his family.

I have completed several treatments with Dr.Bob to help with a knee injury caused from over use in running. Dr.Bob has been very helpful and knowledgeable and provided tremendous relief to my lingering knee pain. I will continue to see Dr.Bob to treat this injury and for those injuries that arise down the road. Great work and definitely recommend to others! Adrian

I've had treatments in many places, but this place is by far the top of the top. Recently, I had an injury I went to a physio clinic and it didn't solve the issue. I ended up spending 8 hours in the hospital and they sent me home will a pain killer and told me to rest. I ended up visit Dr. Bob who is my goto specialist. Without exaggerating, within 10 minutes, he made me feel 80% better and also informed me where my pain was coming from. Soy and the other staff are also amazing. If you're in Kanata or as far as Orleans, Barrhaven, Nepean, Ottawa Core or beyond, get yourself over to Dr. Bob's Rehab in Kanata. It is right beside Costco so you can get 2 birds with one stone.
