Good ambience. Good service. Good food. I would like to mention that the server gave us some bread while we were waiting for main and the bread was really nice. I liked the fact that even after closing time the sever asked us for dessert and did not rush us at all.

Such a great place. The servers and host/hostesses were all polite and friendly. The food was amazing and even though it was a bit pricey it was well worth the money. The bathrooms were clean and so was the restaurant. I would love to go again sometime.

Wonderful gem of a place and you can do dinner and a show! Yuk yuks is just downstairs! We were a party of 4 and had 4 different meals, all delish! Service was amazing and great value with many meals under $20 but the dining experience is upscale. Table arrangements makes you feel connected to your own party, you almost forget you are in a restaurant, they gives lots of space between tables. The atmosphere was also amazing, just the right amount of background noise. I can’t say enough about this lovely place! 100% recommend!

From the reception to the dining area. Service was exemplary. Kadie was very attentive. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. I had the Bolongese (Linguine with beef/pork/veal). My friend had the Lasagna (also loaded with beef/pork & veal) & My other friend and my sister had the Fetuchini Alfredo with chicken in a white cream sauce.

This was my third time here for the dinner and show. Good food. My turkey pot pie was a little bland but all it needed was a bit of salt and pepper. Once I added that it was very good. I don't know if they leave it unseasoned so you can tailor to your own tastes but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say, yes. Our server was friendly and very accommodating, exactly what you hope for when you go out to eat. Like many places, it seems they may be suffering from staffing issues and at times struggle to have enough servers. Would I go there just for dinner without the show? Not sure, would be nice to see spaghetti and meatballs on the menu.

Lunch at Biagio's on Fridays has been a treat with one exception. Our booth was comfortable and our server was attentive and polite.The atmosphere however was loud and disturbing from a group table set against the back wall. We had to raise our voices to be heard from across the table and in order to speak to our server. There were only about 6-8 other diners at the booths near us. * My salmon steak with autumn vegetables was beautifully presented and plentiful. My companion opted for a house pizza which was delicious. Now, back to the group table. * It's a pity that the large east facing window is not available to diners. It may, however, be a solution to the distracting noise level. If the group table was positioned there with one end against the window sill and the other pointing into the room, you may find an improvement in the amount of noise bouncing off the rear wall into the rest of the dining room. It would, in fact, be reduced by half, and be more limited to the far side of the room away from the booths. This could potentially allow diners in the booths to carry on a normal conversation and address the server without raising our/their voices to uncomfortable levels. * We'll give it some time before returning for lunch. I'm surprised that there are so few diners for Friday lunch; the space seems to be underutilized and would feel more inviting if more diners were present. I hope this happens since your chef and server may be encouraged by more. Thank You. John Jury Ottawa

Cannot express enough how amazing this restaurant is. They are so friendly and have such a cozy eating area. They make the best pasta I’ve ever had and it’s because they truly care about making a quality meal on every plate. We found out that they grow their own spices and veggies in house and it shows with how good their food is. What a great place to enjoy dinner at I highly recommend you try their lasagna. 10/10 and probably my favourite restaurant in Ottawa.

So disappointed - service was very slow and when entree finally arrived, the pasta was bitter (tasted like the garlic was burnt). Unfortunately the server never came back to check to see how our dinners tasted so I ate most of it. When we told them, the message was relayed to the manager - who provided no remedy or even spoke to us. Biagio’s was always our go to Italian restaurant but we won’t be going back.

Over the years we’ve been to this place a few times. In the past, it’s been an okay option for Italian food in the west end. Four of us went for dinner last night. We certainly appreciated the server’s nudge that we place our food orders sooner than later as they were also hosting a large party. One member of our party ordered a Caesar salad and another ordered a Caprese salad. Two Caesars came out from the kitchen. They were prompt enough getting the correct order to the table and did leave the second Caesar for the table. Two people changed the pasta with their meals from tomato sauce to Alfredo. Both felt the sauce was bland. My eggplant parmigiana was cut too thick for my liking but that alone would have been okay. The eggplant was exceptionally salty. The accompanying pasta with tomato sauce was bland and not very hot. Service was okay but somewhat disjointed with several people attending our table. When I told the server about the saltiness of the eggplant she did say that she had veal earlier in the week that she found the same way. She said she would relay my message to the kitchen and did offer a dessert on the house, which I declined. There are better options out there, our meals were disappointing and we won’t be returning.

Five stars for our server Sarah! A true professional! Our office party was a huge hit. We hosted 25 people. Everyone enjoyed themselves. All ate on time. Biagios , Yuk Yuks and Sarah made it easy. I highly recommend this place for your party.

My family booked Biagio's for my "special" birthday celebration. From the moment we entered, until we left, the service was wonderful. Our waitstaff Megan was exceptional! Megan treated us with the upmost respect and served the fourteen of us like a pro. The food was very good. We had a delay in leaving due to a transportation pickup, but the staff were very kind and patient. We look forward to returning to Biagio's, for authentic Italian cuisine!

From start to finish was an amazing experience. Welcomed as soon as we arrived. Service was very personalized, and attention to detail. Food quality was great for me as the lasagna is definitely a well put together dish. The eggplant parmagean could have had some flavour. Overall a great experience.

Success! We are a group of over 60 seniors and Biagio's opened for our luncheon today. We had the entire restaurant allowing us to all co-mingle. Food was superb. Our group has never been so pleased, letting me know it was the best ever! Sarah Black, Restaurant Manager made the arrangements, and was then there to assist with serving. Thank you so very much. We'll be back!!

Ordered Biagio’s pasta very good. The calamari fritta was so good also. Soft inside and crispy outside.

Went to the Biagios YukYuks downstairs. Had the Bacon Mac n cheese. It was pretty bad. I still wte it because I was hungry and I wasn't going to wait a other 45 minutes for food again. It was bland macaroni with just enough cream and butter to make it look like it was sauced but in reality was incredibly dry. The best part was the garlic toast, which is saying a lot. I get they are super busy on comedy nights but this was terrible food. Took a picture after taking a few bites.

A pizza-oven on wheels - what a fantastic company to have at your events! The staff is very organized and easy to coordinate with, they showed up on time and were very prepared. They served us high-quality pizza (individually boxed - per person) and the service was QUICK! We were very impressed. Would highly recommend!

Biagio's Wood Fired Pizzas are pretty good, but price is a bit high for only a small size pizza compared to other high end pizza restaurants that offer bigger size pizzas for same price point. Also just wish Biagio's would put on more ingredients onto their pizzas specially for the price. But other than that their pizzas are good but could use room for improvement.

Beautiful atmosphere. We showed up with an hour to go to comedy in the basement, we were seated instantly but then fell into the back ground. Ended up needing to rush our food but the staff were really great once they realized we were in a rush. Great experience but I recommend showing up with time to spare even on a week night to get the full experience.

We rented the pizza truck for a garden party in my backyard with about 40 people in attendance, and it was such an amazing experience! Would definitely do again! Food was great, service was excellent and everyone loved it! They were also able to accommodate for food allergies and restrictions and the whole process was completely seamless. On Thursday we joined friends for Biagio's Garden Dinner on the patio. We enjoyed several courses of interesting, beautifully prepared and served dishes planned by chef Jess Hendren. Adding to the atmosphere were the plentiful gardens of green surrounding us. Even the weather cooperated to make the evening perfect. We highly recommend this new monthly feature by Michael Ziola and his friendly staff.

We actually went to Yuck Yucks comedy Club located down stairs at Biagio's. Opening night for the Club and one comment is they need more server staff. Minimal menus, but the food we had was fine for snacks. Bar staff were not really setup for mixed drinks. Hopefully all this can be attributed to opening night issues. Overall a fun night with great entertainment.

We had our wedding at Biagio's last Friday in their private room. A big thank you to Sarah and Staff! Our dinner was so good! Everyone was so pleased with their meals. Because of Covid, we had to change some details at the last minute. Sarah and Staff were so accommodating. It was a wonderful evening.

We have been here several times because it's our favorite Neighborhood Place. We love the Thursday night special where you get two pastas and a bottle of wine for $55. Service is always exceedingly friendly. Highly recommend the lunch time sandwiches as well!
