This place is nice but there were a few down sides.The shower had stains in it,on the first day before anyone I my family had used it the bath room smelt like poo.The bed sheets kinda smelt like a flee market.The rooms are also small it would make the hotel better if the rooms were bigger. Overall the staff were friendly and it is a nice place to stay.

We loved our room here at the Kanata Holiday Inn! The king size suite had a separate bedroom from the living area. We really appreciated the space and the table on wheels in the kitchenette. We were able to roll the table to the sofa to use for our dinner. The hotel and room were very clean and quiet. We have already booked our next stay here in March.

1. Smallest rooms I have ever seen. 2. Worst television I've seen in about 10 years 3. I purchased baked goods that were for sale in the lobby. They were stale as could be. The water was $3 4. There was a lack of ceiling lights in the rooms... 5. To end things on a good note. I'm glad to report that the cleaning staff did service our rooms daily. This is more than I can say for a lot of low end hotels.

Great relaxing Hotel. I don’t usually rate Hotels but this one deserves it. Was in the area for work. The staff are great. Impeccably clean. Graffiti Restaurant on site Outstanding breakfast wait staff also awesome service Had dinner here one night also just had a pizza but what a pizza it was awesome. Lots of close by shopping and other restaurants within walking distance. I am sure I will be back to the area will defiantly have this hotel on my short list to stay again.

Service and staff were outstanding and friendly. The room was beautiful and clean. I was impressed at not hearing the people in the next room. It was very quiet and could not hear road traffic which helped with getting a great night's sleep. Definitely would stay here again.

This one is a real gem and I'm not being sarcastic. The concierge. Paul is fantastic. I believe it was actually the cleanest room I have ever been in a motel room. Everything was top drawer and beyond. They have so many small details and I mean crazy clean. Great job guys! Thank you and I had a good time.

I made the booking for my parents. I got an upgrade to a king room from standard room which made their stay extra special :-). They had an excellent time here. The room was very spacious had a nice view and was well-cleaned. They had a TV in the living area ad well as the sleeping area and every other thing that makes a hotel stay comfortable- fridge, kitchen sink, microwave e.t.c. Staff were really friendly and they would come back here again. Breakfast was well worth the extra pay. Took the pics at night, so don't have very good pics of their room. *Cons There isn't enough parking within the premises but there are some extra slots across the road. The standard room had breakfast fully catered too but the upgrade led to my parents having to pay for their breakfast which they weren't prepared for. However, the staff gave them free breakfast for morning 1 and they only paid for morning 2 and 3.

Great room with pullout sleeper couch as well as a queen sized bed. Able to open window as well if you're a fellow fresh air sleeper where this is important! Corey was awesome to us in both the attached restaurant, and as a front desk manager. Thank you for the great weekend away!

From first contact to leaving the venue the service was top notch, friendly while very professional and the manager on duty as well as the catering team were phenomenal, very helpful and attentive. Clean room. We were on the top floos. Beds were comfy and we had a mini suite. A little pricier than what we are used too but had no issues once installed. Room service through Grafity's was good as well.👍

I came in to book a hotel room for my moms who were coming in to town last minute.. it was my great luck I got Paul as my front end host!!!! He was awesome but it didn’t stop there the next day when the came he was again at the desk and amazing he was kind extremely helpful and very patient… I thought for sure he must be in management what a good guy thanks

We came in late at night on our way home from vacation. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Debbie, the server at breakfast, was delightful. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Love the location since it is a walking distance to a strip mall. Comfy rooms and friendly staff! We had breakfast in Graffiti and Jan guided us through the menu with enthusiasm, making excellent recommendations that suited our preferences perfectly. Kudos to the entire Holiday Inn team for providing such a memorable dining experience. This is undoubtedly a place to return to for great food, exceptional service, and a wonderful time.

Room was very clean, had Dove products in the bathroom, comfy, no issues. Front desk never greeted us as we came and went - thought that was odd. Exercise facility out of order. Pool a tad chilly but nice. Location was good but expect to hear the traffic.

Great stays, convenient location with Centrum just doorsteps away, and the Canadian Tire Centre nearby. Graffiti's Restaurant in the hotel provides a great breakfast experience, food is delicious and staff are friendly and attentive.

Hotel is under renovation and we did not stay so I can't rate the rooms. We had our wedding in the back of the restaurant and a buffet breakfast. It was just right for our 40 people and the food was very good. The staff were awesome with everything we requested. Made our special day perfect.

We have stayed in this location over 5 times, and are always pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. David and Karrah are extremely helpful, and ensure that our stay is pleasant. The restaurant attached is phenomenal, and we look forward the the breakfast every morning.

Seamless check-in, the manager was very friendly. The room was recently renovated, hence squeaky clean and spacious. The pool was under renovation as well. Attended a conference and I wish that they had labelled which ones were vegan friendly and have more vegan options. Similarly, the restaurant does not have enough of vegan options for breakfast as all breads had eggs.

Great service! We were in the middle of moving and were exhausted and trying to find a place that was pet friendly. Claudia and Ben were absolutely wonderful in helping us get checked in and settled into a suite. The suite itself was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We spent a total of 5 nights and all of the staff were very friendly. We felt safe with the COVID protocols being followed. The hotel is close to shopping, restaurants, and public transportation, and has plenty of parking.

We highly recommend the Holiday Inn for anyone looking for a wedding venue. We had our wedding here in December, the staff was highly friendly, professional, and the services were superior. Graffiti’s Italian Eatery led by chief Steven at the Holiday Inn catered our wedding dinner, everything was perfect. I attended a small business conference here that totalled about 10 people. The meeting room was clean, organized, and quiet. The rooms were much appreciated by all as perfect junior suites with bedroom and separate sitting area. The super convenient in-house restaurant was staffed with very friendly and accommodating peeps. The power center directly across the street offers a handful of great restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Very uncomfortable bed. Not a very clean shower - fair amount of mold and mildew in grout. I called and asked about the pool and was told it was open. After arriving, was told I had to book a time for just an hour and that swimming lessons would be going on. And hot tub was unavailable. I wish I was told before, I would have stayed somewhere else. Room was very expensive for what it was.

Convenient location. Close to lots of restaurants and big box stores. Friendly service, was offered a free upgrade. Rooms are comfortable and clean, however the hotel is in need of a upgrade. Some Rooms and common area/halls are looking dated.

Room is nice. Landry machines are bad, needs maintenance. Only one washer, one dryer which is a problem if you and your coworkers stay a long time. Laundromats are far away. Restaurant is good. No free breakfast. Gym sucks, needs a pull up bar and one less elliptical cardio machine. Staff are good, friendly, helpful. Weekly cleaning schedule, which is currently Wednesday's, isn't being maintained. I had to schedule my own room cleaning. I'm surprised. House keeping put a paper under everyone's door stating that Wednesday's are full room cleaning days. My room was a mess that Wednesday. Overall not terrible. 3 stars.

We had a two day conference here. We didn’t stay at the hotel, but felt welcome each day that we arrived. Clean washrooms, the room was a great temperature as the AC was set at a good level. Coffee was hot and water was ice cold.

Everything was great. Good help at front desk. They cleaned rooms when you asked. Nice rooms that are up to date. Very great location. The only thing I wish they had was continental breakfast...not sure if it's possible... but would have been the icing on the cake.

We had a full block of rooms here for our wedding in the area and we were very pleased with the service and cleanliness of the hotel. There are so many options for food, shopping, and entertainment in the area as well. The biggest highlight was Dave at reception. Holiday Inn & Suites is lucky to have this guy as part of their team. He continued to go above and beyond for our friends and family to make sure they are comfortable and happy with their stay. The way he treated our guests and others we saw him interact with was like nothing I have seen before. We cannot thank you enough, Dave. Give this guy a promotion! Thanks again for a great stay.

I really wanted to like it as I always stay at Holiday Inn. Sometimes it isn't any one thing but a combination of things that can be irritating. First, there was no water to be had anywhere onsite my first night as they don't have any vending machines and their Canteen was virtually empty. Covid? Who knows. Bathroom shower is like standing inside a very small pie shaped closet. No fun at all. Parking is not that great as the spots close to the front fill up quickly.. Onsite restaurant was ho-hum. I guess the thing I am most tired of is " You are not here long enough for us to clean your room due to Covid" Really? That seems to be the go-to nowadays and I suspect it has less to do with Covid and more to do with cost savings on their part. Not one of the best that's for sure. Might have to start my Marriott rewards back up again.....

Don't look it's three star. Comfort and cleanliness are great. smiling staff. but the price of breakfast is very expensive. Breakfast should have been included in the room rate. thanks again.

Booked Queen beds, were definitely not Queen more likely double. Small rooms, bathrooms are old could do with some updating. Front desk staff very nice. Restaurant made us breakfast, was good but expensive.

Room was very clean both times we stayed. The staff was very knowledgeable and very polite and professional both time we stayed. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know that is heading up to kanata. Would like to say we were very happy with the service. Keep up the awesome work to all of you.

We rented an event room for out-of-town guests at our wedding in September, and were honestly blown away by how courteous and professional everyone was. It was catered by Graffiti's, the restaurant attached to their hotel, and the the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. Staff got back to us quickly while were booking, and someone remained on-site until our evening concluded, which helped when we needed to re-stock midway through. Taking care of the bill was easy, no hidden surprises. They even went above and beyond for us when a Raddler we had requested was no longer in stock, so they sourced it locally to ensure we had exactly what we asked for (we would have accepted anything else; this was done without us asking). Some family stayed in the rooms for the wedding weekend as well, and confirmed the rooms were comfortable and clean. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good place to book in wedding guests or host a small event!
