I felt very much at home here and would definitely stay again! My room and facilities were very clean. So many thoughtful and considerate touches, such as having a separate fridge and microwave to use, in-room coffee machine and glass bottled water, big screen tv, big comfy bed, good quality shampoo, conditioner, soap and sanitizing wipes. Best of all was the hostess, Irina. She was very friendly and helpful. She offered generous choices of food for breakfast, on top of being a good cook. Also, I loved that breakfast was served at separate times (for each party) to maintain proper safety.

Awful experience. There was a man in the house who were really disrespectful (I don’t know if it is the other manager or her companion). My friends came to visit me to take me out visit the city. As soon as we entered the house, that man looked down on my friends and I telling me I was not allowed to receive guest in front of my friends doing hands gestures and everything. It was rude and disrespectful as Irina told me I can receive friends, just no party was allowed. I was feeling very uncomfortable all over my stay(2days) and that man have been rude. For the price I paid, it was not worth it, I will not recommend to anyone. In the other hand, the breakfast in the morning was great and the lady Irina was welcoming and flexible as for the breakfast time.

This place is such nice and warm place to stay. Super clean and the breakfast is amazing. Irina is such friendly, kind and very accommodate host. Not too far from stores and public transit. A very great experience

We chose this Bed and Breakfast because of its location. We were going to the Venezuelan Embassy to get our passports. Irina was kind enough to checked us in after midnight, gave us incredible and valuable information about the process (she has hosted many Venezuelans before us) like regardless the time going to the embassy to put our names on the list. And on top of that the breakfast is delicious, balanced and better than many hotels, in my opinion. Also ga ve us pointers where to go sightseeing after we did our errands. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Overall our experience here was just okay. We arrived around 6PM and we were greeted by the owners teen daughter. She showed us to our room and it was rather awkward. In terms of the room and amenities, they are nothing to write home about. The bathroom was not very clean and there were a lot of small dead bugs on the ceilings. In addition, you can hear every movement in the house, as well as people talking outside, because the walls are so thin. The breakfast was good, definitely the best part of our stay. In the end, we really wanted to like this place but the hospitality is lacking, as was the coziness and cleanliness you would expect for a B&B. Unless you get a really good deal on staying here (less than 75$/ night), I would sooner go to a hotel nearby.

Nice owners in a small and friendly B&B house, nicely planted garden outside and not too far from the city centre. One of the small parks is close by and Rideau river.

Yummy breakfast, warm host, big house in legendary decoration taste, one of the BEST stays ever!

My wife and I had a 5-star stay here, and experienced wonderful service from Irina, who fixed a filling breakfast each morning and provided outstanding advice on seeing the sights. The B&B is in a safe & clean residential area of downtown Ottawa, within walking distance to many embassies, Parliament, museums, restaurants, and shopping. And, it is a great value, as well, especially considering the free parking.

This is a hidden gem! A century old beautiful home, a short walk to downtown core and Parliament building, very close to multiple embassies. Irina and Sophiya are wonderful hosts. Thank you Irina for making us feel like at home.

Irina is the greatest host, if you're Venezuelan and you're staying there because of the renovation of your passport this is the place for you, she even guides you through the process, amazing attention , very private and quiet room and her omelette and Turkish style coffee in the morning is to die for!

Had a lovely 2-night stay at Ambassador B&B. Room was comfortable, amenities were great, and the host, Irina, was very kind and helpful!

The owner, Irina, is a wonderful host. She is going beyond the normal service, giving an excellent breakfast and kind touristic orientation to everyone. And especially to venezuelans who need to do the passeport at the embassy, 5 minutes walking from there. The room and the whole house are clean and warm, it's make you feel at home.

This is my favourite place in town, I stay with this wonderful family every time I visit Ottawa! Irina is a wonderful host and an amazing chef. Her breakfast is unbeatable. Love the specialty crepes, coffee, omelette, everything! The location is perfect - right in the heart of historical part of the city, a few minutes walk to Byward market, subway and it’s right besides a nice park with Roseau river. Cannot ask for more. Cannot wait to stay again next time!

Nice clean room, very comfortable bed, within close proximity to the Byward Market. Irina was an excellent hostess, and the breakfast options are great. Rooms are air conditioned and they offer free wi-fi in the rooms. Recommend if you’re looking for a short term stay.
