Loblaws Robertson Road

Supermarket

😠 I noticed today that the best before stickers ( Aug 18) on some products in meat counter have been pulled off and replaced with later dates. This is illegal! Can’t trust their fresh products now. People often mention store, Loblaws, staff, nice, great, clean, helpful, items, service, selection,

It's a regular grocery though the store feels more like a warehouse.

Expensive.. 1 cash open. Self cashout was pushed on me. How is this store still open?. Im not political but this is stupid. Store was sparse with customers, the deli employee/manager gave myself and my wife the impression that we were an annoyance. I asked for 200g of ham. I got 6 slices. It was cut so thick. Thank goodness I got 50% of the shaved coldcuts at 930pm on Saturday night, otherwise the sandwiches we decided to make instead of going to subwY would have cost us almost twice as much as subway. However. The lady at the customer service counter, who went above and beyond to wrap the flowers I bought (Tracey??) Saved this store from an absolute horrific rating.( see my ratings, i dont do negative reviews) so thank you for being 1of 4 people who made us to feel like customers who were valued. Ive lived in this end of town for 20+ years and this is the worst review I hope I ever give. Loblaws.....You need to do better. Stop trending, and start caring.

Overpriced, however still nice, the sushi selection is great, and they have lots of international ingredients not available in many other stores. The store is always fairly clean, and the cashiers are nice. The bakery has some great bread, specifically the cheese bread, and the wholewheat.

Staff we encountered seemed friendly and helpful. I was looking at hair stuff and noticed one of the brushes was still in its packaging but had strands of someone's hair stuck in it as though it had been used already. Make sure to always check the expiry dates, especially their dairy. I found cheese that was dated for last year. This is a usual occurrence where they have expired product for months after the date. I once found something that was 6 months past it's date. The salads and cut fruit etc shelves were all empty and some of the deli section. Cost of food is getting even more insane.

The bad thing aboit loblaws is their return policy. So lets say you buy a juicer from x location. You go to y location and say hey this is nlt qorking please refund. They will say lets check if our store sell this juicer. Chances are they may not sell it and then they will say go to the original atore to get a refund. Such bad policies.

Worst vaccination experience ever! Do not use this pharmacy for flu shots for kids. Pharmacist was obviously not comfortable doing injections for them and even for adults gave only half an injection to my wife. She was dithering around for ages, so we ended up with one and half a vaccinations and none for the kids. Avoid. Do not recommend.

One of the worst Loblaws... Asked for a poutine, but was told that it is unavailable. A very small bakery section, with very limited selection. Prices are high… you better buy only what’s on sales in their flyer, otherwise don’t.

This is a large grocery store with a wide selection of grocery, produce, meat, seafood and delicious items. It is well laid out and easy to move through the aisles. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are always good deals on items, just depends on what you are looking for. There is also a pharmacy, lottery and small wine shop. This Loblaws is our store for our grocery shopping.

Went in at 6pm and visited the hot food area only to find all empty other than MOJO style potatoes. I asked the only guy on the counter (who was more interested, in clearing up than serving) how fresh the potatoes were, he said 4pm. Seriously 4pm it's now 6pm. He was not happy when I said, "Oh no, way to old." He just walked away. Terrible service. When serving on that counter, shouldn't you have an apron on. I went back and got a Pork Pie. He was completely unhappy that he was being disturbed.

Older store that could really use a facelift inside. It has unused space with lots of room to bring more household items in especially since Bells Corners lacks that kind of shopping for kitchen, shoelaces, and general family needs that the larger stores have. Really wish this store had a wider selection like is at College Square Loblaws, even Centrum Kanata.. Pharmacy is also quite limited for off the shelf items. There is a former Zellers next door so many residents wonder why Loblaws wouldn't create a larger nicer more modern fit most needs store in a community where one stop shopping is left to a small Giant Tiger again with limited choices. There is a new part of Belks Corners coming for thousands of units of new ousing and residents 3 or 4 blocks away. Loblaws should pay attention before they miss the coming opportunities.

Was told over the phone that they do passport photos, so I went there and did my groceries just to find out that they don’t do them. The guy looked in the drawers and said they lost their camera…

It's a smaller store, so they don't as much in the way of selection, but they try. Some of their prices are lower than their competitors and some not, pretty standard. Friendly cashiers and the pharmacy staff really shine, it's always nice to be recognized, especially while wearing a mask.

My 65 year old mother came in today to go to the pharmacy. After BUYING a magazine another employee accused her of stealing a loaf of bread. She proceeded to go through my mothers purse. This is NOT how you treat elderly people. She had no possible place to hide this “stolen” bread. My mother is going through cancer treatment. If the pharmacists weren’t as amazing as they are we would never return. What a horrid women.

Great store. Not as big as many other stores, but I didn't have any problem finding most things I was looking for. I like this location because it is not as busy as others.

This review is about management/supervision. I just had an unpleasant encounter with “management”. In short, the cashier (who was great) had to void something that was $45 and I guess that’s above their “limits” 🙄 so she attempted to call customer service MULTIPLE times, no one answered. So she went over to the desk, no supervisors… go figure. Now there’s a line starting to form… she calls again. Twice. No answer. Then the poor girl sees someone who must be “management” who proceeds to chastise the poor cashier for walking away!!! I said something about her being great and their policy being the cause of this ridiculous holdup only to be met with ignorance and back talk. Unreal!!!

Great staff, lousy prices. This store like all Loblaws stores has the highest prices. I have found some items 50% higher than the competition. PC points are difficult to optimize, it seems one week after a big purchase they offer huge points on the item you just purchased. Loblaws was my go to store but not any longer.

While shopping in the bakery section for baguettes, the bakery manager himself came right over and asked if he could be of any assistance. I had observed him also being very courteous and engaging with other customers, even though he was obviously busy, and yes, it may be part of his responsibilities, but I could tell that he was earnest in his kindness! Great leadership by this manager! -Sat May 27 @ 153pm - Kerry :)

Amazing!! This Loblaws is very new, nice and beautiful!! Employees are helpful and nice to customers. This Loblaws is clean and safe. There are so many choices available, and the lighting is perfect. It is my favorite one in the West Ottawa region. It is just the perfect size. The other Loblaws or Real Canadian superstores that I have been to are way too big, and they are very chaotic when it is time to go pay. This Loblaws is just the perfect size, and they have nice and affordable options in the natural market section.

On the smaller side, but it's clean and well stocked. Edit to my initial review.... It would be helpful if the cashiers were actually helpful! Answering "I'm only a cashier and don't know where anything is in the store" should not be an acceptable answer. Even when your customer asks for them to help you find out, they point and say "ask them". Excuse me! I asked you for help! I am disappointed in tonights experience.

Called and the phone system looped back to the main line cause no one was answering for about 15 minutes. The person I dealt with did not seem to know too much about the company she works for. She tried to answer my question, but instead of asking for help, she said no and she had no idea. She was no help at all and I relayed this experience to their head office customer service.

Good selection of items, clean store, and helpful staff. Higher prices than other nearby grocery stores on some items.
