The best in Carp and also one of the best in west Ottawa region. I tried the mocha and English muffin with sausage. The coffee is great. They use equator coffee I guess as I saw them selling in store. They provide table service so that’s a plus. They also have separate takeout counter too. They are pretty fast in service. The interior decor is kinda old fashioned ( table and chair) and suits the location and vibe. The service was really great. The muffin was fresh made and could feel it. They have street parking in front of shop and lot of spaces near by. I really enjoyed this place and recommend to visit here.

This review is a bit dated but I still wanted to get it done. We tried Alice’s Village Cafe for the first time this summer for brunch and I must say I am going to be a regular there from now on. What a gem of a place! We visit the Carp Farmer’s market several times each summer and have seen this cafe buzzing with people so we knew it must be good. But the experience was very good. We were seated inside and was able to access the menu on the phone via the QR code on the table. We liked the idea of being able to order the meals we wanted via online and then subsequently pay for it via online all the while being seated at the table. The wait staff was friendly and checked in with us regularly to bring water and coffee and our food when ready. And the food tasted soo gooood! It was such a great experience overall. Will be going back and trying their lunch items in the near future!

Stumbled across this jem on a country drive outting that ended in Carp. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, great service and delicious food at a good price, who could ask for anything more. We'll go back for sure.

Outstanding service, great menu and a super fun location! The only thing I regret about my visit to Alice’s is that I waited so long. Will be back, would highly recommend.

Amazing quality. I had the classic breakfast and for $12 it was a bargain. Both quality and quantity. Also you can order and pay by your phone. Wish more restaurents followed this. Highly recommended for a cozy good quality brunch/coffee. Also, super friendly staff.

My review is going to be similar to another customers on here(James Dean) as we had the exact same experience. We decided to eat outside, but once we found our table and sat ourselves down we were completely neglected by the waitress who greeted us. We watched another couple on bikes come who were attended to 15 mins after us. It was only when one of the waiters went over to a couple seated across from us did the couple tell him we had been waiting for quite some time and probably felt bad for us. I was livid. The inattentiveness from the 4 waiters was unacceptable. They seem to neglect the people who sit outside from what we observed. We watched people who had just arrived leave because they weren't being looked after and we almost left but decided to give them a chance. The food was 10/10 but the staff looked miserable and were not very friendly. We never even got an apology from the waitress who abandoned us but she kept looking over at us with a very unfriendly demeanor while serving others outside. Will not be returning.

This cozy and beautiful cafe is one of the best I have ever been to. The staff is great, friendly and super efficient; even when the place was very busy. The food is YUM ✨. Definitely visiting again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Decent food and drink. Had the Buffalo chicken wrap. Have to say it's probably one of the best ones I've had in a long time. The craft ginger ale was also rather tasty. Was not a big fan of the kettle chips. Tasted a little burnt. Decently salted though. Not too much or too little. Really good bang for your buck. Especially considering the location. Was not able to finish my entire meal and I'm a fairly large man. My dish was $16 before taxes, so you get a fairly good amount for what you pay for. Highly recommend people stop by and try it if they are in the area.

It's really about the vibe and location at Alice village cafe. A well-lit open interior of the cafe is a majority of the space. Small sunlight room in the back with a bench setup quite nice in the morning. Locally-sourced foods is a nice touch.

Quaint spot in the heart of Carp with good service and delicious food. I had the Breakfast Sammy, which was huge and filling. The home fries were so plentiful that, after eating the sandwich, I was too full to finish. My wife had the Classic breakfast and enjoyed it. She let me have a bite of the homemade sausage and it was excellent. Spiced with a bit of a kick but I loved it. The service was prompt and friendly but after delivering our food, we didn't see our server again until we were finished. It's a small point, as we were enjoying everything and didn't need anything more, but if we did, it would have been us making the effort to get her attention. Again, that's a petty point. Everything else was great. We'll definitely be back.

What a lovely restaurant with great food and coffee. The service is quick and friendly. The soup we ordered was delicious and hot. If you are in the area, stop in and grab a bite.

What a quaint spot for coffee and sweets! Tried their blueberry scone, ginger molasses cookie and a decaf americano with coconut milk. Delicious!

Well worth the stop ! Homemade dishes, great local coffee shop and restaurant. They have vegan/lactose free options and deserts. I highly suggest to stop by when in or around Ottawa. Friendly staff with delicious food and drinks.

What a CUTE place! Stopped in with the fam after walking by and smelling the aroma of some good food being cooked here. It was quiet empty when we spent our time here, so it made for a calm, relaxing experience. Shared a french fry with the baby and the hubs shared a chicken finger meal with my other (big) baby :) Super cute and relaxing interior. After hanging out inside here for a bit my kid said she wanted to move to Carp, so we can come to this cafe everyday! Seating outside or inside. Pay when you order and then they bring you your food! Friendly and welcoming service. I was intimidated before stopping in being with two kids, but this cafe is 100% kid friendly! After checking out the unisex bathroom, the kid and I discovered a rack of toys, games and blankets. So fun and adds extra charm to this restaurant. So coming back here!

Very delicious food, great service and nice atmosphere. Prices were acceptable at around $22 for a coffee and meal. Sandwich was just a bit dry but 8/10 enjoyable!

Nice location, food was good (personally just found there to be wayyy too much cheese in the Turkey/Apple sandwich). Server wasn't overly welcoming, and getting the bill and debit machine was around a 30 minute wait.

My mom waited over 10 minutes for a table and was not once acknowledged by any staff whatsoever, who were walking back and forth right in front of her. When she finally caught a server’s attention, they were extremely rude - as if simply asking if someone could acknowledge her was too much work. She left. How hard is it to acknowledge someone waiting? Even if you’re very busy, how hard is it to say “hi there, I’ll be with you in a moment”? She won’t be back, and I certainly won’t either.

Delicious food, friendly vibes, and excellent service! Not expensive either 🙂; 10/10 strong recommend. My only qualm is with OCTranspo - no transit route to Carp (the only bus to Carp is completely useless for it runs once a week, it might as well not exist). Unless you have your own vehicle, the transit option is to bus to Innovation station, and then take Uber/Lyft for the final leg.
