The best cafe in Manotick area. The old fashioned indoor decor, the service and the quality of food and drink were at its best. I really liked the mocha that I had from here. I also liked the hazelnut latte. The place was filled with customers and I can surely see why. They have lots of varieties of scones and was really good. The cooked reuben sandwiches, grilled cheese and breakfast sandwiches at this place are the best they say. Coming back here for sure to have these again. The prices were ok. There is parking behind the cafe but not sure if it’s the cafes designated parking area as some board said it’s reserved for another shop nearby.

Very quaint neighbourhood cafe. Always great service here, they are very attentive and make great recommendations. I enjoy their smoothie bowls, their scones are always delicious as well, and their hot chocolate and cappuccinos are my favourite in town.

This is not just your regular coffee shop. This is a staple in the Manotick community and you can see the love the community has for this spot and also the love the business has for the community. The drink and food are what most people will come for. And they are fantastic. I have had a many of drinks from here. Their boozy selection is quite delicious (White Russian might be my favorite) but they have some great lattes and smoothies and just about anything you can really think of. The food is fantastic as well. The care put in, makes me smile. Shown in a picture below is the Date with Apple which was highly recommended by the baristas. And WOW, I understand why. So you know the food and drinks are great but for me it was the service. The service is what always gets me to come back again and again. I didn’t just feel like another customer, it was like they were treating family each and every time. Just a wonderful experience. You need to go here

649 Coffee is a delightful experience. The cappuccinos and scone were delicious, and the overall vibe was fantastic. A spot worth revisiting for tasty and enjoyable time.

The most friendly service I have ever had! As soon as I walked into the shop my mood was immediately lifted. I was greeted with a big smile and hello. The interior is very nice, clean and homey. As well, the scones and hot chocolate are to die for! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone! It's a must stop!

I had extremely high hopes for this place as it was recommended by both a zealous young fan i know and respect and an incredibly wise woman that has given me a fair bit of good advice the last few months. While i feared the young man may have been slightly biased a felt sure the lovely lady was giving me an honest assessment. I was quite surprised when i found out both parties were understating things. The atmosphere is bright and cheery and happy regulars seemed right at home. That feeling soon spread to me as i was given an extremely warm welcome. The lady at the counter was efficient and helped me quickly navigate the morning menu. I was soon ensconced in a comfortable corner, provided a wifi password and typing away merrily on my laptop. My small bladder prompted me to check out the lavatory which was immaculate clean, not an easy task considering the volume and number of mothers with young children that popped in and out. When i returned to my table empty it was time to refill and luckily my soup and coffee wee steaming away waiting for me. The coffee was served in a nice mug and a swan of cream floated upon an aromatic brew that beckoned me to taste it. It did not disappoint nor did the tomato soup which was excellent; it did present a question that still baffles me. Does the fit looking cook forgo his excellent creations or does he work out relentlessly or both? Anyway i quickly did find out why they are so highly recommended. If you are driving by stop in and ill wager you will be glad you did.

Great cafe in the Manotick area. Although it appears small from the outside they have alot of space, many outlets to charge your devices and wifi. The design is very earthy and modern. The workers seem to really enjoy their jobs and are fast. We ordered a mocha, iced latte made with almond milk and some gluten free scones made by scrummies. Both coffees tasted good, our only suggestion would be to add more cocoa to the mocha. The scones were delicious and I will definitely be returning for some more because It’s hard to find a good quality gf scone. Overall great experience and would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Thank you cafe 692!

I don’t know why I didn’t make a review before but I loved this place since the first time I went there I believe in 2019, the coffee is at a good price for how good it is, I love the place is relaxed and cozy, and the staff there is amazing, I still don’t know their names but I always see a guy with black hair and I think a woman with blonde hair, they are very nice, I wish I could go more often but is a bit far from my house, but is worth the 30 minute drive tho 🙂

At 692, they get customer service! One of the most memorable experiences I've ever had! We stopped here on recommendation from another local business, North Station Provisions. We ordered, found a table, and waited. We were told when our drinks were up. Then the day manager, Johnathan, came to our table to tell me they had run out of waffle mix. I love waffles. He apologized and offered to make this up with a more expensive sandwich option, which was surprisingly good... and more than made up for the waffles. We thanked him and left. About, 20 feet down the sidewalk, Johnathan called out to us and came to ask my partner's name, and gave us the history of the 692 name, the original area code for Manotick before amalgamation into Ottawa, and thanked us again for being great customers. Now that's what I call great service! We will definitely go back. Update: Back again, and the waffles were worth the return trip. Same great atmospher! Same great service!

This is so far my favourite exquisite coffee shop in Manotick, Ottawa. The cafe has a home-like vibe. The drinks and baked goodies are top notch. The cookies are so tasty and well portioned. Customer service is respectful and friendly. The inside of the cafe is clean and spacious.

What a great spot! Fabulous friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Baked goods are stellar and the coffee bar makes this a great place for a quick stop or long read of a book.

Excellent local coffee meeting place. Clearly a Locals favorite. Could use more room for patrons as it is such a popular and convenient place that is filling a nitch market. Great snacks Vailable to accompany great coffee offerings.

What a GREAT spot to have stumbled upon yesterday!! I was killing sometime before my pedicure at Peppermint Spa down the road and walked over to 692 Coffee and Bar. I was immediately greeted by the nice ladies behind the counter and was recommended to have an iced matcha latte and chocolate chip coffee for an afternoon pick me up. Delicious and really well made matcha. The coffee shop/bar itself its incredibly well decorated, from the moment you walk in, it's stylish, welcoming and cozy. The decor, furnishings, fireplace and wallpaper in the bathroom were my favourite. Then I saw the back patio area and immediately decided this was my new favourite coffee shop. I'll be coming here way more often to do some work, read or socialize as the customers even are greeted by first name (which I love). I was also told about open mic night on the last Thursday of each month and thought that was nice to hear of events by word of mouth, I can tell this place really treasures community and social interaction. Can't wait to come back with friends and family :)

Great addition to the coffee scene in Manotick. Their dessert selection is limited but they make up for that with excellent coffee and positive energy.

Ordered a latte an an iced latte. The espresso was good but the milk for the latte was sadly too hot. The iced latte was very good. Much much better than Starbucks, but not the pinnacle of coffee shops

I’ve been to 692 a few times for a latte and scone (delicious) and always appreciated the friendly service and great vibe. The patio with heaters is super nice too. I tried their charcuterie box for the first time today (pre-order online for Fri/Sat pick-up) and was not disappointed. It’s hard to tell from the pics on their website how much goodness is packed into these boxes (2 person box pictured below). They are bursting with quality ingredients and at a great value. Wonderful way to kick off the weekend!

I enjoyed the scones but found the coffee okay. The inside is nice. I’m intrigued by the evening conversion into a bar. Overall though, this place was ok. The breakfast sandwich was pretty expensive for something I could make at home - as in bread, egg, cheese, tomato. No special sauces or ingredients, no fancy way of cooking it. I probably wouldn’t come out of my way to come back, but if I was in the area I might enjoy a scone.

Great spot with truly caring owners and staff. Good food options and they are still making the most of the COVID era. Kudos to them and to their food.

This place is a hidden gem, I rarely find good coffee in Ottawa, but this coffee is worth driving couple of more kilometers to Manotick. The place is also very cozy and on Sunday, they had live music performance. Hope to see more places like this in Ottawa.

Busy place, both fresh out of the oven scones were delicious but one was previously frozen (or fridged) and still cold in the middle. Out of a lot of stuff when we went around 2 hours before close. Always has friendly staff and good local vibe though!

Nice little spot to grab a coffee or cold one. Dog friendly. Delicious scones and grilled cheese sandwiches!

Another great option for coffee and goodies in Manotick. The place is shared by the coffee bar and the scone maker, which is a great partnership and good use of the space. The coffee beans were from Fluid Solar. The barista’s skill has room for improvement. The scones (cranberry, cream cheese, white chocolate; blueberry and brie) were tasty enough but a bit overpriced with $5+ each. The kombucha is the house specialty and a must-try. Love the antique furniture and the cheerful staffs.

Adorable modern shabby chic decor. A relaxing layout with mix of industrial and old fixtures mixed together …… nice covered back patio. Had Nitro ce coffee $6 and flat white …… Flat white was perfect. Mellow and smooth. Nitro ice coffee tasted flat and bitter first so I returned and asked for more espresso shot because it did not taste like good coffee mix at all. They did and the ice coffee tasted slightly better. Good service and neat ambiant. Will definitely come back again

Finally checked out 692 Coffee & bar after moving to the area over a year ago. What took me so long!? It was amazing! The coconut milk latte and cookie were both excellent and the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. This will be my new favourite drop in activity, that is, if I can find a seat...

Had a great first experience. Charlie, his wife, and staff are wonderful and very hospitable. The strawberry rhubarb scone cake I tried was amazing and Cortado was great. Lovely spot for delicious eats, treats, and coffee. Atmosphere and all the people were great. This is what a coffee shop is all about. Definitely highly recommended and can't wait to be back. Have a great summer filled with beautiful memories! No photos...couldn't stop eating :).
