Hubby and I are in love. With Busters Bar and Grill. Yesterday we had a fun afternoon doing some vintage swing dancing which we picked up on the fly—looking fly also, as was everyone! It was the Sunday afternoon swing dance with live band and it was fabulous. We reserved our table close to the dance floor because we had been warned that to get a good table you need to make a reservation. If you do not dance you can come to listen to the band of old timers ( in age only as they were obviously in their prime) and watch the dancers while having delicious home style cuisine. We settled on nachos as we ate before we arrived. Let me tell you those nachos were the best I’ve ever had. I’m not sure why theirs is the best but they perform magic with tortilla chips cheese salsa olives and pickled jalapeños. I’ve added pics of the dance and hubby in nacho heaven . I ordered the lasagna, which is my most favourite food. I was not disappointed. It was the largest restaurant lasagna that I've had out. It was also really tasty and came with garlic bread as well. So delish. 🤗

Visited Buster's for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is very spacious and clean , and very well decorated with plenty of TVs while we were finishing our meal the live band was setting up. Check it out if you are in the area for large portions.

First off I will say that I am very impressed the waitress asked us if we liked onions with our breakfast potatoes. As someone who did not like onions at first and with a mother who does not eat them, well done 👏. Great breakfast and wonderful atmosphere of that suburbia drinking spot that everyone goes to. Quality of food was exactly what you would expect and the waffles were so good. Was a mix of what I would think would happen if you waffled a donut.

Buster's Restaurant is conveniently located on Hazeldean Rd (near Eagleson) in Kanata. Lots of parking. The special recipe pasta sauce is great with spaghetti and meatballs. My favourite dinner is the tangy meatloaf. I quite often have a burger or the BLT with yummy fries. The breakfast is the best in the area. Busters has a bar and sports feel with several TVs and popular classic rock music playing. Great atmosphere for the whole family by day and live music on certain dates in the evening. Reservations are recommended on evenings they have live music. Reasonably priced, great staff, good food 👍👍

Tried breakfast for the first time. Nice atmosphere inside and we were seated right away. Breakfast came with coffee included which is a huge plus in my books. Food tasted great and service was great. Will definitely go back!

My friends and I were driving through the area and were very hungry so we stopped by this restaurant to grab a bite to eat. The interior looked promising enough and looked very nice. We were greeted by a young server but it seemed like she forgot about us and was never seen from again, ad this was even acknowledged by another server so she had to take our order. It took over 30 minutes for our order to arrive which was sorta disappointing. My friend and I both ordered poutines. My poutine was the Pulled Pork Poutine and he ordered the Smoked Meat Poutine. We were surprised when we got the poutine as it filled the whole plate and was absolutely huge. The poutine tasted very mediocre and I could tell that they were aiming for quantity over quality as I had tasted better dishes at other restaurants.My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Wrap and she said that she enjoyed it for the most part. Overall I would look further for a restaurant to dine in at as the service and overall food quality left me wanting more. The few nice highlights of this establishment would be the interior and relative location.

Went for dinner to find out live music starting shortly. I had a roast beef dip (as I was undecided between several entrees, they all looked good!). My companion had the burger and fries. My roast beef dip was good, but I didn't expect (nor notice that is came) already drenched in gravy/sauce. I ended up discarding the bun and just eating the beef on its own. Very messy. Would have been better just served as is and not in a sandwich in my opinion. The fries were the good, fresh cut kind. My companions burger and fries were very good as well. We ended up staying to enjoy the band for a while and ordered dessert later. We had the chocolate cake which was very good and rich. Neither of us could finish. We have been to Busters a few times now. We will definitely be back to try more dishes and come back for live music in the future.

Pretty decent menu options. Food was pretty tasty. Just wanted to get something quick, and the kitchen was open relatively late for Ottawa/Kanata (11pm)

4 stars for the servers, but 1 star for the logistics and the food. We came at 5pm for the Sens game shuttle on Saturday. We ordered our drinks shortly after, and our food by approximately 5:15. Our server came back once and offered us additional drinks, but did not give us any updates on our food. We waited until 6:15 to be served our meals (after one server saw us looking around at about 6 and came over to ask if everything was ok), giving us approximately 15 minutes to shovel all our food in and pay. Additionally, one member of our party was served completely raw chicken in their Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. The server took the plate away, and (gracefully?) comped his meal, but he essentially received no food and nothing further was done to rectify the situation. I understand that on game nights, it's going to be busy. But some communication and logistics planning would have gone a long way, and serving raw chicken is a health and safety violation and completely unacceptable. The servers were doing their best but completely overwhelmed. I've used the Sens shuttle service at other bars and did not run into the same issues, so I don't think I'll be back here.

My son wanted to have vegetarian lasagna and this was the only place around we could find. It turned out to be great. Loved the food, service. We weren’t that hungry, so we ordered 1. The waitress was thoughtful to split in 2 and bring it out for us. And we finished it even when we were full. Lovely people, great food. Thanks.

THIS PLACE IS TOP TIER!!!!!!!! My husband, daughter and I just went for breakfast here for the first time and oh my, it was better than expected. I’ve yet to find a place in Ottawa that does a really good breakfast, but Busters go beyond that. The service is excellent (we had Hailey), the atmosphere isn’t too loud and there’s lots of space and the food is excellent! Fresh, quality ingredients and a huge menu!!! We had the all day breakfast, chicken and waffles and the wiser burger👌🏾 We will definitely be returning as regulars. The price is also fair for what you get. Busters is a hidden gem and I’ll be telling everyone this is the spot for good food and great vibes 😊

Went here for a friend's birthday. I order led the wings and the dusted salmon. The salmon and sweet potato fries were very delicious. Our host was very attentive amd patient with us, I believe his name was Andy. I liked that he brought a pen and paper to write down everyone's name and wrote our order next to it. Thank you

The service was friendly and efficient. The bar made me a Moscow Mule that was very good. The food was SO BAD which was such a disappointment as it was the first time to a restaurant in months. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Parm sandwich. The bun it came on was stale, not just dry but stale. The chicken was frozen and microwaved. Very chewy and rubbery. There was a smear of tomato paste on it (also not very tasty) and the cheese had melted off a slipped under the bun where it was all stuck to the outside of the bottom bun. No pesto, no arugula.

Always the best service. One of my favorite bars in Ottawa.

I believe the place is pretty good with live entertainment and usually no cover charge. Food and booze reasonably priced with good service so can't go wrong!

Great place for some drinks and food. There is a food/drink special each night of the week. Wednesday is $5 off a pound of wings for example. The chicken wings are very good. Ask for "baked" wings if you like your wings less saucey but with all the flavour.

He ordered the beef dip with onion rings the Buffalo Caesar chicken wrap with Poutine, and two club houses one with Poutine and one with fries and gravy, and a chicken fingers with onion rings and everything was superb. The fries were close to chipwagon fries and the gravy was very nice beef gravy.

I do not recommend the Roast Beef Dip Sandwich or the French fries. The sauce, at least in "my opinion" was not nice. Fries are frozen, not fresh cut. I needed a refill, on my glass of water, that I never did get. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, so I will return and give it another chance. Hopefully, it will be a better review next time.

We have enjoyed the Sunday music at Buster's several times in the past year and have always greatly enjoyed ourselves. Today was no exception. The person who took our reservation on the telephone was very welcoming. Our server Jenna was quick, efficient and friendly. The Nachos were fine and the entertainment was great. We'll be back.

The food was warm and tasty. They have a surprising amount of vegetarian options using a meatless italian sausage that's quite good. No issues with missing items and they followed instructions on our delivery order.

I visited Busters Bar & Grill on a Sunday evening. My wife had the lasagna which she said was very good. I order a hot beef sandwich with gravy and fries. The sandwich was made up of beef bits no larger then 1 inch in size it appeared to be leftovers. When I brought this to the attention of the server she took it back to the kitchen. When she returned she had been told that the beef had been shaved and that this is their normal practice. It looked like a pile of mush. And felt like mush when you tried to eat it. The server did her best but this was out of her control.

Enjoyed a relaxed lunch with friends. Great service and a delicious lunch in a real local pub atmosphere.

Thank you to the owners and staff who gave amazing service to our party of (65). The food was great and the servers well organized, courteous and accommodating. We were pleased with the many table setups and the use of the microphone. We will return, probably for our Xmas party. You deserve 5 stars and we thank you for making our evening so pleasant.

I organized a breakfast for 20 guests. The food was very good. I was a little concerned when I realized there would only be one server but Laura Lee was fantastic! She never got frazzled or impatient. Great experience. Will definitely be back.

Met up with some friends for beer and food before hopping on the bus to get to the Redblacks Game. $5 cost for the bus. Amazing deal. Very convenient to get to the game. Really appreciated the friendliness of our server.

Good breakfast, I liked the home fries, eggs over easy as requested, fairly standard pricing. The coffee wasn't great, hence the loss of stars.

Stopped in for a late night now. Great food and the staff are friendly. They had live music which was awesome to experience after the last 2 years. The meatloaf is outstanding and the braised cabbage that came with it is amazing.

Made reservations for a large group (50) to have lunch between hockey games while we played in a local tournament. We were seated in a separate room with lots of space. The service was top notch and the food spectacular! Will definitely recommend and be back in the future! Thank you!

Went for supper and we really enjoyed it. We have been there for the bands a few times and have had a great time! The service is excellent and the servers are very accommodating and friendly. We have found a new spot.

The Philly steak sandwich was pretty good! The bread was soft and warm. Quality bread. Fries were pretty good too. I got the sandwich for 5 dollars off (15 dollars total) because I went on a Saturday. For $15 dollar sandwich with fries I'd say it's a fair value for the current market.

It was not bad, and we may go back for the entertainment. The club was okay, but I was not a fan of the spice used. It was the reason I stopped buying clubs at Chances R. Wife's burger was great, as were the fries and the fountain pop. Service was excellent and surroundings clean. I'll try something else on the menu next time.

So the restaurant is very spacious and has a good atmosphere, and the service was ok. Our issues was the wraps we ordered, specifically the shrimp. The cook did not remove the tails from the shrimp.....that would be ok if you were eating them on there own, but not pleasant when you bite into a wrap ….yuk. We told the waiter and he said "the chef is not supposed to do that" However we went the rest of the night waiting to see if they would apologize or acknowledge it....the Bill came and nothing??? It's a shame as I think they do have some good food, we just will not go back.

We arrived on a Sunday morning and all of us ordered from the breakfast menu. We all had different dishes and enjoyed all of them. They were prepared to our satisfaction and were all tasty. The service was prompt and efficient despite the server being very busy. I am looking forward to returning soon to try other dishes from their regular menu. Prices are very reasonable. I hope when they move to their new location because of expropriation that they maintain their loyal clientele.

Great honey hot wings

Buster's is a local pub that has moved to Kanata when the original mall they were in was torn down. They are reinventing their menu to add special events to the standard Ontario diner offerings. For instance, Martini and tapas night and an Oktoberfest Beer and Food event.

During Covid this restaurant has been very pleasant. They are safe but at the same time the servers make you feel welcome. Great beer, great food, great service.

Friendly staff and good deals! Drink deals and food deals every day of the week makes for a cheep night, until you end up having way too many! The nachos are good, they're generous with toppings. $6 Tallboys on Mondays includes imports which is great! It's also nice that it's open late (something that's hard to find in Kanata). There's lots of TVs and lots of space if you want to get together with friends and watch the game.

Great venue with friendly staff for watching sports, meeting friends and family. Great selection of food with good sized portions and daily specials.

Wish I could give five stars because our server was amazing! She was very kind, attentive, and was wonderful at her job. However a man kept coming out with his mask off ( not wearing one ) or below his nose. Would go in the back of house doing the same, walking behind the bar, going up to the other servers... Definitely left me feeling not too great about the experience because how do we know the guidelines are followed?? Food was great though!! We probably just won't be back for dine-in service, at least not until covid is over. Sad as it was our first time dining in!

Went Feb 20th and pick up the Battered Fish & Chips - very fresh, well cooked and the fries were really fresh. Also had a Steak Melt Supreme with fires - lots of steak and the taste was delicious!

Honestly - service was terrible. Sure when I went it was a Friday night and things have just opened up due to COVID but there were 3 different servers waiting on our table and we didn't know which one was the one designated to take our order(s) or serve the food. The one waitress we did have more regularly forgot to bring half the things we did finally get to order. Overpriced considering food was standard pub food but quite flavorless in some areas. Even the drinks were a little overwatered. Best thing was the nachos hands down but make them buffalo chicken style if you can handle the heat!

The food and service are fantastic. Since reopening they have come back strong with a delicious and fast breakfast. They have contactless menus which are great, they are very prompt with any and all cleaning/sanitizing. I have not had their lunch/dinner items so I cannot comment on them, but I can only assume they are just as good as the breakfast. Speaking of their breakfast, they have really upped their home fries since reopening; they are fantastic.

Good food, great service

Been coming here regularly since it opened in Kanata. They have had a great variety of activities in the past which I hope will return once the virus issues are resolved. Live music, comedy night, wine, beer and other alcohol tasting days paired with top quality meals. A really great place to experience different bands, food, drink and funny people.

Great breakfast!!!

The food was good. The burgers are a decent size(8oz) but they charged $1.28 for extra pickles. Isn't pickles a normal burger topping? Besides I didn't take the onions which came as a listed topping so wouldn't the pickles be a substitute? Prices are high enough that they should not need to charge for pickles.

Came for the scotch tasting with perfect food pairings...will definitely be back!!! The food was amazing, thanks to the chefs, as were the scotches. The owners and wait staff were very friendly!!
