I was first introduced to Laziz at a home dinner where someone brought over an order of their coleslaw to go with our meal. It was unanimous from all 6 guests that this was the best coleslaw any of us have ever had. I visited the restaurant in person a couple of weeks ago to pick up more coleslaw and to try other items on the menu. Tandoori Chicken plate & Chicken Souvlaki plate were delicious. Chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Lots of flavor. Portions were very generous. Great value for the price. The greek salad was served with green pimento olives as apposed to the traditional black olives, but the salad was still great with generous amount of feta cheese. The salad served with the tandoori chicken had a fantastic creamy dressing on it. Not sure exactly what the dressing was, but it was delicious. Rice was very flavorful with great color. Broast chicken was A++. Better than any of the other usual places you would go to for fried chicken. They definitely know how to broast here. The experience inside is great. Very friendly and they took the time to go over their menu with us and provide recommendations. The kitchen and chef are visible from the counter and from speaking with them you can instantly tell that they are proud of their food. Try all the homemade sauces, they are all fantastic and each one brings something different. So much more on the menu to try. Looking forward to trying their piri piri, steak, burgers and wraps in the future.

Must Try! Food quality: Excellent - the chicken was very well flavoured and nice big portions. The rice tasted so fresh and was cooked to absolute perfection! Had the perfect amount of herbs and spices! The delicious bread (closer to Afghan bread than naan) was very warm and fresh! Wrapped in tinfoil to keep it warm! Great care was taken in packaging all the food together. Very friendly staff! Price: $14.95 + tax for the meal below - I believe this is a fair price. Plenty of rice, plenty of delectable chicken, sauces, a reasonably sized salad, and a piece of bread. I think it’s worth the price for a lazy weeknight meal.

It was excellent. It’s spacious, clean. Owner is nice, patient. Price is affordable Plate is generous, taste good. The bread is excellent, it was warm really enjoyed it. I only left the cucumber because I don’t like it. The only things is that there’s not enough choice of drinks !

Great food! A little wait (around 15 minutes) but endurable for the food. Not anything for a vegetarian minded person but boy was their grilled chicken well marinated and tender! Their wraps are not too bad but go for any of the kebabs accompanied by rice. Amazing flavours (the rice and salad) apart from the meat itself. Good find close to Costco!

Delicious filling kebabs with nice strong flavors, fragrant rice and fresh fluffy Naan Bread. We bought peri peri chicken combo and tandori kabab combo , both are very good but the peri peri was delicious, very rich flavour and moist from inside . Would highly recommend .

Laziz serves the best chicken in Ottawa. Their "broasted" cooking method consistently delivers juicy, finger-licking-good chicken. The seasoned hand-cut fries are great too. While the Laziz broasted chicken combo boxes generate the buzz, the other chicken platters steal the show. The Greek and Tandoori platters feature large pieces of nicely-seasoned chicken served over the most delicious rice I've ever had. These guys are busy but they're highly efficient, with phone orders ready for pick up in 15-20 minutes. Whether you're craving fast-food chicken or more upscale chicken, Laziz stands above all its Ottawa competitors in both quality and flavour.

This place really feels like a missed opportunity. Their food actually tastes delicious but it's let down by the high prices and the unclean interior. We had dinner at this place and I could immediately see that the prices were super high. Each platter costs about $20 (after taxes) per person and that adds up very quickly if you have several people dining. The place doesn't look clean. It also looks like the staff don't care about the cleanliness of the place which makes me not want to dine-in again. What does somewhat make up for the above negatives is the food. The food tastes really good. I'm glad I gave this place a chance but at these prices, I won't be back for several months. They need to either decrease the prices or increase the quantity (keep the quality the same).

I was always a loyal customer, after Today’s experience, I will never ever come back, and I will definitely recommend to all my family members and Friend not to come back!! very rude customer service over the phone. No wonder other people are complaining about this as well. (let the young guys answer the phone they are more professional than the older gentleman if you want your business to succeeded)

I have already been here a few times in this restaurant and the quality and value is great! The portions are quite generous, and the food is really amazing. I'm on a tight budget on dining out but when a person like Chef Mohammad is so hospitable with me, I don't think about it. I just feel I'm in like paradise and truly after having the meal, it makes my day! Will definitely come back here again!.

Looking at ratings . Not sure if people lost their taste buds . I did not find any flavor in the food. It was bland . But great customer service . Amazing guy behind the counter . Hope they can improve their food flavor.

Laziz broast inn road is the best food . Oh my god I have never experienced in ottawa in any halal restaurants .the service is wonderful. special owner is so kind and friendly. Definitely I'm going to recommend my family members and friends to come and enjoy the tandoori kabab . So yummy 😋 😍 😊
