👍 Great dog park to use while visiting family. Not fully fenced so beware! Went in “winter” so it was quite muddy near the entrance but overall good space to roam. If your dog likes water ensure they have good recall when the ice is there, can be dangerous. Many friendly people and dogs but enough spa... I think this is the largest dog park I have ever seen. Really big and all fenced off. Even have an entrance to the river that dogs can go for a swim in.

Great dog park to use while visiting family. Not fully fenced so beware! Went in “winter” so it was quite muddy near the entrance but overall good space to roam. If your dog likes water ensure they have good recall when the ice is there, can be dangerous. Many friendly people and dogs but enough space to spread out and play fetch without being bothered.

One.of the best free dog parks in and around the Ottawa area. There is access to the river for puppies to go for a swim and a drink of water and huge well maintained space for puppies and their owners to walk around. Pups have an amazing large amount of space to run around and all other shenanigans that puppies get upto. Highly recommend this park over any other in the area.

A gem of a spot! Huge open area for off leash dogs. It also has 2 open water drop off for your dog. This park is not gated, not great for dogs that likes to escape. There is a few picnic table around as well.

We love this park! Always try to make a trip out to manotick at least once a month because our pups love it. Nice green grass and very clean and well maintained. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I’ve never had an issue here with other owners or dogs. Across from the parking lot on the other side, there a nice spot with running water down the river where dogs can enjoy a nice cool swim. It’s a bit rocky though. Ample amount of parking in the lot and on the roads.

This dog park is fantastic. Cedar fence around the outside but there is chicken wire on it so the dogs are contained. Water access if your dog gets too warm, and friendly dog owners every time I've gone.

What a great spot to bring your dog! It is like doggy heaven. Big grassy field with water access. There is a small parking lot and dry toilet. Water access closer to the parking is more shallow and probably cleaner, the other side had steep access but also wider boat launch.

Like a larger open well kept lawn along the river. Great place for a picnic or throwing balls for the dog.

Its a quite nice place. Theres a favourite place for dogs to jump into water. Great place to walk your dog as there you will find 20-30 more at any given point of time! I love the quiteness, sound of water and leaf of this place.

Great park but better in the summer. Then we can sit at a bench and toss the ball. There are also ramps into the rideau river where the dogs can swim. I haven't been here for almost 3 years as it was closed for city water install and they've now fenced off a 1/4 of the residential side of the park. The parking area is a little larger, perhaps 10 cars max but unfortunately some drivers carelessly don't park courteously. I won't know for 3 months but my dog & i used to enjoy the stream on the area across from the parking area. It's limited use , perhaps, 6 dogs as the shore line is steep and dangerous when muddy. Spring time will provide a clearer picture. The last time i was there the ramps, installed poorly, two years earlier were in dangerous disrepair for the dogs. They had installed a honeycomb configuration but much of the structure was broken and the earth underneath had eroded. A dog or a humans leg could easily step into the fractures with calamitous results.

Awesome dog park! The best and most beautiful we've been to. The pups had a great time and river swimming was great there!

Well kept, nice green space to bring the dogs and some water to play around in. Owners have good accountability of their dog behavior, very respectful. Definitely recommend if you want to socialize your dog and tire them out a bit (lots of running room). My only complaint is that there isn't nearly enough parking available (10 cars max). There is street parking available but it is in a curve so be careful when crossing with your pups.

Amazing dog park: wide open space for the dogs to just run around, there is also water access for dogs who like to swim. The people who go there are also very friendly. This is my go to spot!

We really like this big open off leash dog park. It's very grassy and nice to walk the full perimeter. If your dog is water obsessed, make sure their recall is good or you'll end up with a wet pup.

Great place to off leash your dog. Been going with our GS for 6 yrs and have never seen a fight or single issue. 2 launches into the river for pups to bathe.

Nice big park. Never seen so many dogs in one place. Great view of the canal

Good park for dogs. There is a trail that will take you to a small dam and a lock just off to the left while entering the parking area. Make sure that you put your dog on a leash near the dam and lock since the currents are deceptively strong.

My puppy met so many dog friends there! Love this place

Big, mostly open dog park with a few acres points to the water for hot days. Also a good place to picnic if you want to bring your pooch along. The parking lot is quite small but there's overflow parking on the road.

Fantastic off-leash park! Super spacious and fenced on 3 sides, so lots of space for them to run around. There is also water access for pups to swim. Owners are responsible and attentive of their dogs.

Area is under construction bit still has plenty of room to let your dogs run free

Nice park overall, but wish the entire park wasn't off leash. Would be nice to be able to take the kids without dogs running at them and trying to jump up. Great for dogs, not as great for kids.

Beautiful park! Lots of room for dogs to run around off leash, or enjoy a nice walk in the fields, forest-y area or overlooking the water :)
